Unfortunately, due to my current situation and financial limitations, I’m not able to keep him long-term, and I want to make sure he finds a home that truly fits his personality. He is an independent and shy cat who can be easily startled and prefers to keep his distance at first. He is not a lap cat and does best when given space and time to feel safe. With patience, a calm environment, and understanding, he may gradually build trust at his own pace. He would do best in a quiet home with someone experienced with cats or someone who understands and respects an independent personality. My goal is to find him a stable, low-stress home where he can feel secure and accepted.

He is known for his bold and aggressive requests for pets, thunderous purrs, and feet so slippery they should probably come with a warning label. Proceed with caution: you may find him suddenly underfoot as he executes his signature maneuver, the Franklin Flop—a graceful routine in which he rubs enthusiastically against your legs and then slowly melts down your feet and onto the floor like a very affectionate pancake. Side effects of meeting him may include tripping slightly, smiling uncontrollably, and wondering how a cat can be this sweet. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more loving, more charming, or more committed floor hazard of a kitty.
