Story
Belle, short for Anabelle, is a grey tabby with a wildly wonderful heart. She makes such a nice heartwarming companion to have in the home. SHE IS BEING FOSTERED IN SUN CITY WEST. The perfect home for Anabelle would be one that is calm, older teenage to adult family members that have prior cat ownership experience. No small children. She enjoys playing with wand toys, rolling balls, the spring toys, and just about anything! She loves her cat tree and watching all the activities outside and is a great biscuit maker! She is eager for attention and soft/gentle petting. She’ll even give little love nibbles at times. She’s a very independent girl, and may be a little shy in the beginning. Anabelle would do best being the only kitty in the home. She wants her "hoomans" all to herself. She has not been around dogs, so we do not know how she would respond to them. Anabelle is eligible for ROAR's foster to adopt program (where we will supply all food, litter, and mentorship during the foster period) to facilitate Anabelle seamlessly settling in with her new family and home environment. Foster to Adopt placements for adult kitties are offered with special adoption fee pricing, as well. Please inquire.

Story
Meet Michaelangelo (male) and Butterscotch (female). Both of these kitties were rescued several months ago from a hectic parking lot, surrounded by busy roads. They have been given a chance for a better life. Each are loving and appreciative kitties who found comfort in each other as they left their horrible past behind. They are looking for a parent who will pamper them with their favorite food (Friskie's shreds), share food with them (e.g., make sure it is cat safe, no matter how much they beg!), give them back rubs while they eat, and provide them with a cat-friendly, calm, loving, indoor home with a tall cat post or two, toys, and a TV, tablet, or smartphone. Michaelangelo is fascinated by TV screens, including screen savers (e.g., moving fish). Laser toys are enjoyable, too. Expect them to be shy at first, but know that you can easily gain their trust and confidence with food. If you are looking for gentle companions to fill your heart with knowing you've saved two lives, Michaelangelo and Butterscotch are waiting to dine with and adore you. Notes: Kitties are available separately as well. Both would do best with a companion cat. Michaelangelo loves lap time with pets; Butterscotch loves food time with pets. Kitties are neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and chipped. Health records are provided, as are toys, bed/blanket, and current food. Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application for review and arrange a meet and greet with the kitty at the potential adopter's home. We want to ensure kitties are a good match for the adopter and the home is a good match for the kitty(s). Adopting a pet is a life-long commitment, through sickness and in health. We consider them family. Please note that most new pets will need time to adjust and feel comfortable in their new environment. This is natural. Here is information on the 3-3-3 rule: https://companionanimalcommunitycenter.org/your-cat-settling-into-your-home-with-the-3-3-3-rule/

Story
Meet "Bon Appetit" cat, Butterscotch. Butterscotch, very sweet like her name, has a passion for food tasting and sharing, probably because of her rough start as a helpless kitten, struggling to survive in a busy parking lot. She survived long enough to be rescued and experience the love of human kindness, but her passion for shared mealtimes still exists. She will be your food guide, connoisseur spirit, and treat taster. Her forever parent will need the patience to guide her towards healthy choices, enjoy snacking together, and appreciate sharing their lap with her as they enjoy an occasional treat while reading or watching TV. Her "ideal" parent will appreciate Butterscotch's love for food and ensure she continues to be fed healthy choices. Butterscotch enjoys pets on her shoulders and back, sleeping with and playing her bonded friend, Michaelangelo, and keeps her eyes wide open when anyone is in the kitchen. Favorite things: mealtime, eating together, gentle back pets and scratches, watching birds through the window, calm environment, napping with Michaelangelo, and keeping watch on the kitchen. Butterscotch may seem shy, but food helps beckon her extroverted self. She accepts and enjoys pets on her back (she prefers not to have her head touched) and will fearlessly jump into your lap for a treat. She finds comfort being around Michaelangelo. Butterscotch would probably prefer a calm home and is best suited for someone who understands and appreciates shy personalities that blossom with love and understanding. Of course, food works very well for Butterscotch! Butterscotch is a gentle, loving kitty (approximately 1.7 years old), looking for an experienced cat parent who will help her make healthy food choices and provide her with the patience, safety, and friendship she needs to feel loved. If her story, special qualities, and pictures capture your heart, please inquire to see how Butterscotch and her friend, Michaelangelo, can be forever yours. Notes: Please contact the foster parent directly for questions and a quicker response to your inquiry: kivers@fullerton.edu Please note that Butterscotch is bonded with Michaelangelo and come as a pair. Total adoption fee for both is $300. Kitties are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and chipped. Health records are provided, as are toys, bed/blanket, and current food. Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application for review and arrange a meet and greet with the kitty at the potential adopter's home. Story
Vinny & Shelly come together as a bonded pair. Shelly, age 5, is the petite, short-haired tortoiseshell and Vinny, age 2, is the short-haired gray tabby. They would prefer a quiet home with only adults, and they do well with other animals! Shelly is a confident, curious, talkative and affectionate little girl who loves to play and be brushed! She will curl up next to you, or sit beside you while you work. Vinny is a lovable big boy, who is also pretty shy. He loves Shelly, and will find her in the house so he can cuddle up with her anywhere. Vinny is social, but prefers to be loved from afar, but once he settles into his forever home, he will get very comfortable pretty quickly!

Story
Meet the "melt in your lap" cat, Michaelangelo. Michaelangelo, along with his siblings, were rescued from the middle of a busy parking lot. Regularly fed by feeders, the juvenile kitties grew to accept human kindness. Michaelangelo has become quite the young gentleman. He is approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. He was a bit more shy than his siblings (who have already been adopted), but he has blossomed into a loving, playful, happy, and lap loving kitty. Favorite things: cuddling in laps, gentle head and back pets, treats, playing, watching birds through the window, sleeping on his cat post, calm environment. Michaelangelo enjoys the pampering and friendship of his human companion and bonded friend, Butterscotch. He also gets along with other playful, non-dominating cats who don't mind playing chase on friendly terms. He may also enjoy a cat friendly dog. He would be okay with older, kind, respectful kids. Michaelangelo is an ideal cat in many ways. He is a lump of love and will easily capture your heart as he adjust to his new home with his friend, Butterscotch. I am amazed these two sweethearts are still available. If his story, personality, and pictures capture your heart, please inquire to see how Michaelangelo and his friend, Butterscotch, can be forever yours. Story
Nikki was a rescue cat. We are traveling to Costa Rica for a month in January and need to find a permanent home for her. We desperately need to rehome her in the next few weeks. She is an indoor cat and has never gone outside. She is litter box trained and has a litter box enclosure that looks like a little house. She also has a cat tower with a cubbyhole she likes to sleep in. Her other favorite place to sleep during the day is in her cardboard box with a bottom that is a scratching pad. All of these things I have listed will go with her to her new home. She is shy and never leaves the master bedroom which has a walk in closet where her litter box enclosure is located. At night she likes to sleep on the bed with me. She is spayed.
