Neptune & Pluto are a bro & sis who are looking for a foster or forever home. Foster-to-adopt is also an option. They are being fostered in Santa Monica, CA. Pluto is such a sweet girl. She can be a little shy but warms up quite quickly. Pluto loves to cuddle and play with her toys. She also loves to lounge in the sun and take long cat naps. Pluto is very talkative when it is time to eat and like her brother will gobble up her food. Pluto is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV & FeLV. Neptune & his sister were discovered in LA in late 2020 by a kind human out in front of their apartment, just steps from a busy street, with no mama in sight. After waiting all day and no mama coming to their rescue, they joined us at CARE. They have been in a loving home after being adopted in 2020, but their current adopter works so much and is hardly home, so the kitties are not getting the adequate love and attention that they require. *The photos of them as kittens are from their original rescue.

Kai is an awesome little kitten who needs a home with another cat or kitten!  He is now almost 5 months old. He is getting very social with the adult cats he is living with and would love a home with another kitten to play with.  He was originally rescued from a feral cat colony. We took him in on February 19, 2024 as the person who trapped him could not keep him.  He is not feral, but he is scared.  he is getting better every day. he purrs when we pet him and cuddles with us on the bed. He loves to play!    With kitten season upon s, we need to get him a home so we can help the unweaned kittens for which we get lots of calls.  We can not until we have space!   He will do best in a quiet home with other friendly kittens or cats.  We do have a 10 month old kitten that also needs a home.  they would do great together! ##2011269##

This is Charlie and the woman who cares for him says this Here is what i sent out to friends. It has a lot of info; "My friend and I helped this poor abandoned cat. If you happen to know anyone who would like to adopt this 5 year old cat, he was recently neutered at North Valley Vet in Lancaster along with a snap test that came out clean (no transferable diseases), blood work was clean (no organ issues) and is de-flead, dental care was taken care of and also removed five foxtails embedded in the gum lines and in the cheek that caused him lots of pain. I will have him fully vaccinated on July 1st. If anyone is interested I will give them the proof of vaccinations & rabies certificate, but he should strictly be an indoor cat. A retired person(s) (or quasi-retired) would be preferable because the cat is zen. I would really appreciate it. I just want to find him a loving home." These two sisters came to the rescue a couple of weeks ago. They are very playful with each other and because of their age need to be adopted together so that they can continue to play and learn from each other. They are super sweet and have been bouncing all around and having fun. They are both well handled and pure when they are pet. Poppy is more adventurous and Marigold is more cuddly. They get along pretty well with other cats and have been curious about older kitties. They don't seem to love my dogs so much, but they are very small and could probably get used to dogs if they had time and the dogs were respectful. They have had two FVRCP vaccines so far, and will continue to stay up to date. They are eating good and use the litter box well. They are looking for their forever home. Lani is a beloved cat. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old. She is approx 8 years old. She functioned well on our large property outdoors for years. Unfortunately, we moved to a much smaller house with our dog and are making a tough decision. Our smaller house and the dog leaves little joy and quality of life for this sweet kitty. She uses her box well. Transitioned indoors well. She is a super sweet kitty who needs more attention than we can offer and less stress from a big border collie. We are rehoming because we love her, not because we dont. No time limit to wait for a good home. She is a beautiful tri colored grey Merle.
