Story
Meet Alley — a resilient, playful, and quietly affectionate young cat with a heart of gold. Once found desperately trying to get food from a garbage can, she arrived at her foster home painfully skinny and truly starving. Over the last year, she has transformed into a healthy, spirited girl who’s ready for a loving forever home. 🐾 Playful & Athletic
Alley loves interactive play — especially catch, where she shows off her impressive outfielder skills! She also enjoys wand toys and even batting at bubbles. Playtime brings out her confidence and silliness. 🐾 Growing Affection, At Her Pace
Alley has made wonderful progress with touch. She started with gentle head pets, then allowed pets down her back, then her tail, and is now bravely working on accepting tummy rubs. She’s not a clingy cat, but she shows love in her own sweet ways — like giving surprise lick baths, which are her version of a hug. 🐾 Best With a Young Feline Friend
After spending her first foster year mostly on her own (the resident cats preferred their space), Alley blossomed once foster kittens arrived — especially her “adopted” baby, Odie. She’s a caring, playful nanny and thrives around younger cats. She’ll do best in a home with a friendly feline companion. 🐾 Quiet & Respectful
Alley rarely meows — except during “hunting mode” when she’s stalking a toy. But she does communicate with expressive looks, especially if dinner is running late. She’s polite, observant, and appreciates a predictable routine. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful cat with a touching rescue story and a soft, tender personality, Alley would love to meet you — especially if you have another young cat ready to be her friend. Born 2/2024. Scoop her up now and she can be with you for the holidays and beyond!

** COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER **Nexxis is one lucky girl who is looking to bring a family lots of joy. She is very playful, friendly, outgoing and was very lucky we picked her up out of a parking lot. Nexxis really wants to be the only kitty of the family, however, she "tolerates" other even tempered cats. She can get a little bit bossy and determines boundaries, but she's not mean. Found in a parking lot with a pelvic fracture and not moving...she was almost run over by multiple cars. She crawled into our laps and the rest is history. She does have hip dysplasia that is from the injuries, however, it does not bother her, the vet is not concerned and we recommend a supplement for her. She really wants someone to love and to love her back. She is such a super sweet girl who loves belly rubs and is great in a new environment. Story
🐾 Meet Mr. Clarence! 🐾 Mr. Clarence is a dapper Abyssinian mix with tabby markings, crisp white socks, and awesome tail. This handsome boy enjoys lots of petting, and treats—especially treats. He may greet you with a silent hiss at first, but it’s all for show and really quite cute. Just sit with him, give him some sweet talk and a bowl of food with some treats, and he'll soon come around. With a little patience and some tasty incentives, he’ll warm up and demand your attention with an irresistible stare from his gorgeous green eyes. Mr. Clarence is best as the only pet—he can become stressed around other cats, which can lead to unwanted accidents. He’s looking for a calm, patient home with someone who is home a lot, and where he can be the center of attention and thrive as the one-and-only companion. Born 2021. There are 2 videos of him on our website! To see them, and to apply to meet him, please go directly to his page, at https://www.lifelineforpets.org/mr-clarence.html. We will reply within a day.
