Story
Gravy Boat and her sister Casserole came to the shelter very scared of humans. Gravy’s way of coping was to freeze up and hope the humans wouldn’t notice her (it didn’t work). After spending some time in a foster home, she learned that humans are actually benevolent beings who feed her, pet her, and sometimes even feed and pet her at the same time! It’s easy to get her motor purring by giving her butt scratches while she eats. Everyone loves Gravy Boat but Gravy Boat isn’t for everyone. She loves her foster mom but is still pretty fearful of new people and unfamiliar sounds so it will take some time and patience to earn her trust. She is also a habitual hider and will find tight spaces to shove her little body into. And while she LOVES pets and will cutely follow you around the house, she’s not the biggest cuddler and is easily overwhelmed. Gravy would love to go to a quiet, calm home with her sister, Cassie, so she can keep borrowing some of her bravery and have someone to wrestle with. Going to a home with another cat who can help her build up her confidence would be great as well. Must be adopted with Gravy Boat.To learn more about Casserole, please contact Nicolette at nicolettejray@gmail.com

Story
Sunkist has gorgeous markings and is a very sweet but shy boy. He`s cautiously curious and keenly alert, but easily startled. He was very scared when he first arrived at the shelter but he has made tremendous strides. He is very playful and enjoys pets (at times, he`s still getting used to them), but he is still a bit nervous, especially in new situations. He`s looking for an experienced cat owner who can be a patient to allow him to settle in and truly be comfortable. He`s a really nice cat, he just needs some TLC and a quiet home to call his own. If you have a big heart and a quiet home where he`ll be the focus of your dedicated attention and affections, Sunkist will be a great friend.

Story
Otis is a total super curious goofball and a “sandwich” cat. He wants to be in the middle of everything! He’s always investigating (he has a thing for empty paper bags and burrowing under covers), exploring and loves to follow his foster dad around the apartment. Once he gets to know you he’s *super* affectionate, chirpy, and loves to play. He will curl up on his foster dad’s lap at the drop of a hat, and loves to snuggle next to him in bed. Otis was quite shy when he first arrived at the shelter with his brother Max (white markings), but they have totally bloomed into a super happy pair of bonded cats in their foster home. They’re 2 years old so they have lots of energy and are extremely playful, affectionate and silly. When it’s treat time, if you hold the treat above their heads they’ll stand up on their back paws, which is really cute. Otis is the smaller of the two but he has a *huge* personality. Otis and Max are absolutely joined at the hip and do everything together, so they need to be adopted together. They’re very playful and love to chase each other around the apartment and engage in all sorts of hijinks. And when they get tired of that, you’ll find them napping together/on top of each other. They are still wary of new people and will need a little time to warm up when they first meet you, but if you’re patient you’ll be rewarded with two very outgoing happy-go-lucky brothers who will be your new best friends. To adopt Otis (and Max) please contact their foster dad at chrisdezorzi@gmail.com

Story
Hi I’m Mooniepie, Moonie for short. I am a beautiful baby (my foster mom says so) and I do love to play, just slower and more mellow than most kittens. I do love to wrestle and chase my sister Birdie, and we take big naps together, touching paws and faces or laying all over each other. I love to interact with you, get good back scratches, and sleep on or near you. I am a pleasant and easy kitty with big round eyes, white mittens, and a big fluffy white collar of fur. I love to carry around a little mouse in my mouth and pretend I’m much more fierce than I am. Please consider giving me a home with my sister Birdie. We can keep each other company every time you leave the house and we will be the bestest of friends with each other and you forever! To learn more about Mooniepie please contact Diana at denextlevel@gmail.com

Story
Opalite is a mellow girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people. Not much seems to phase her but she also doesn`t put herself out there asking for attention. A good time to Opalite is taking a nap curled up in a comfy blanket while getting pets around her head and neck. She also wouldn`t mind a few treats. She would be happiest in a home where she can be pampered when she wants or left to her own devices if she feels like it.

Story
Meet Chrissy, the beauty queen of our “Three’s Company” litter.Chrissy has this beautiful, sleek coat. Silver with blueish undertones. She’s the slimmest of the bunch, probably because she’s the most active. She’s also clever. Whereas her siblings will stay on the ground while chasing wand toys, Chrissy often positions herself on the cat condo and opts for sneak attacks, flying to catch her toys. She also loves attention. If she’s not cuddling with her siblings, she’s often on our bed, burrowed in between pillows. Sometimes she’ll take naps with us. Sometimes on us. But sometimes she’s too much of a kitten and just wants to play.Chrissy likes to hang out with our resident cats and likes human attention too, so we have a feeling she may become a cuddle bug. Overall, Chrissy is a very energetic kitten and would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, Jack (A132475) or Janet (A132476), or be adopted by a family that already has a playful cat to join in the fun with her. Chrissy has no experience with dogs or children, but we think she might do well with respectful older children and/or a dog that has experience with cats.If Chrissy matches your lifestyle, and you would like to learn more about her, please contact her foster mom, Mayra, at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com. With your inquiry, please include some information about your household, experience, and other pets, as well as any questions you might have for us.

Story
We adopted Louie as our first fur baby from an animal hospital in North Carolina when he was 6 months old. He’s traveled across the country with us and been around for many milestones. Louie is a 7 year old social cat who greets every guest at the door and welcomes affection (within reason). However, just like any other cat, he’ll become overstimulated when given too many pets. Louie gets along well with our 3 year old maltipoo, Luna, and has also gotten along with other dogs we’ve dog-sat. In November, a (human) baby boy was added to our family, however Louie hasn’t taken well to the new addition. Throughout the pregnancy Louie became very protective over mom and hasn’t relieved himself of those duties since meeting our baby. We’re completely distraught at the thought of saying goodbye, but we want the best for Louie.

Story
Agatha was found as a stray, the proud mother of 3 kittens! Her kittens are all grown up and now Agatha is looking for her forever home! She is pretty shy/scared, but she is warming up to people and slowly getting used to life indoors. She loves food and treats and she likes to play with wand toys. She is also litter box trained. A perfect home for Agatha would be quiet, with a patient owner who has the time to let her slowly come out of her shell. She will likely do well with other cats (she really likes my cat!), if she is able to be slowly introduced. Ideally, Agatha could stay in a bathroom or small room by herself for the week or so while she gets acclimated to her new home and new routine. She is still very alert and timid as she gets used to people/living indoors. Her energy is currently on the lower end, but she loves to play with wand toys and can get very into that when she is in the mood. Agatha enjoys food and treats, most of all! While she is shy and sometimes hides, she

Story
Potter is such a sweet boy! He is 9 years old. I have had him since he was a kitten. He has lived with another cat, a dog and a young child at various times, and he did well in all situations. It takes him a few days to adjust to new situations. He likes to be near his humans, but he is fine being alone too. He is a great companion — lots of purring and affection. He is very vocal and likes to chase toy mice or balls. He naps a lot and loves to burrow under the covers. He is all indoor and has always been healthy. I am rehoming him because my partner has a significant cat allergy.
