Story
Hi, my name is Parsley.  I'm kind of the Good Will Ambassador for any 4 legged friends (the kitty variety).  I am a little shy with the 2 legged types and that's why I have been here a while.  I am definitely underrated.  Yes, I am shy, but if you give me the time, I am pretty loveable and sweet.  I love a good scratch and sweet words. I have been in room 3 for a while, but if you come and visit me  you will notice it's zen in here.  There is definitely a calming vibe and it's because of me.  The shyer cats love me.  I am kinda the cat whisperer here.  I definitely need to be adopted with my best friend, Jessie.  Please come and say Hi.  You may see me cuddling with her or the two of us walking with our tails entwined, making hearts. I'm just that sweet and special. Come and meet Parsley at our cage-free adoption center in Westlake Village.November 28, 2023, 3:45 pm

Story
This energetic and silly little man was found all alone in a patch of dirt. I’m positive he was dumped by a prior owner (versus living on the streets) because he loves people and has been a cuddler since the day I got him. I’m not sure what would possess someone to abandon such a perfect kitten - but I do have a theory about his background. It took him a few weeks to learn appropriate play behavior with the other kittens, because at first he was extra hyper and playing too rough. So my guess is that he was owned as a single kitten, and then his family decided he was “too much.” This is exactly why kittens should never be solo! All it took was a little time with playmates and his overzealous play style corrected itself. He is such an amazing little guy with such a big, hilarious personality. He still has kitten energy and loves to play, and afterwards he loves to climb up onto you for cuddle time. He's such a lover, and will keep you endlessly entertained! Like all very young kittens, he will need a cat friend to grow up with. *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.

Story
This gorgeous little girl is extra special because she’s a rare and beloved “torbie” - her coat is a mix between a tabby and a tortoiseshell. This means she has tabby markings with speckles and small patches of red/orange and black fur. She’s just as sweet as she is beautiful, with a personality that closely matches her sister Thistle (though the two aren’t bonded and can be adopted separately). She came to me with her siblings and sweet mama when she was about 4 weeks old. She’s inquisitive, playful, and spunky. She’s still a little intimidated by new people and may scamper away at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to reemerge and start investigating. Her tortie side comes out when she’s playing - she sometimes lets out a teeny tiny play growl when she’s holding a toy and her siblings get too close. She loves to climb all over me while she plays, and is happy to fall asleep on my lap after she’s done playing. Like all very young kittens, she needs a cat friend to grow up with. *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated.

Story
This gentle lady came to me with her 4 kittens. The original plan for her was TNR (which is why the tip of her ear is missing), but she was way too sweet and docile to be put back on the streets. It’s clear from her temperament that she grew up with a family before being abandoned - she definitely didn’t grow up feral on the streets. Like every other unfixed female cat abandoned outside to fend for themselves, she was beaten up by the colony ferals. We don’t know how many litters she’s had, even though she’s still so young herself. She was an amazing mom, but now it’s time for her to be the baby. She’s incredibly sweet and loves love, but she’s timid around new people. She doesn’t run away or swipe, she just cowers and closes her eyes. It’s incredibly heartbreaking, and likely that out on the street she was just paralyzed by fear. But once you start petting her or scratching her head, she leans hard into your hand and will crawl into your lap. She doesn’t like dogs, but she has no reaction to other cats. She craves love and attention so badly, and you can feel the gratitude and happiness flowing out of her when you give her love. She’s so special, and it has been such a privilege to show her the love and safety she deserves. She has SO much love to give, and she melts the heat of everyone who meets her. *** All HHAK cats are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.

Story
This cutie pie is not just a rare and beloved “torbie” - she’s an even rarer LILAC torbie! Her coat is a mix between a tabby and a tortoiseshell, meaning she tabby markings in her lilac coat with speckles and small patches of orange fur. Like her siblings, she’s just as sweet as she is beautiful. She came to me with her siblings and sweet mama when she was about 4 weeks old. She’s slightly more shy than her siblings, but she is quickly coming out of her shell. She’s delicate, curious, and playful. She follows the lead of her siblings, and her confidence is growing every day. She may scamper away at first when she meets a new person, but she won’t stay away for long. She can’t resist toys and pets, and wants to explore. She loves belly rubs, and will roll around on her back for scratches. Like all very young kittens, she needs a cat friend to grow up with. *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated.

She’s also very sweet, and falls asleep on my lap after she’s done playing. Her two different colored paws will melt your heart when she rolls over for belly rubs. Story
I rescued this adorable orange and white tabby kitten and his 5 siblings when I trapped their feral mama (mom was spayed and returned once the kittens were weaned). I’ve had him since he was only a few days old, so he’s never known a time before human affection. He is what we call a “Velcro cat” - meaning he’ll be stuck to your side! He is obsessed with love and attention, and actively seeks out pets and cuddles whenever he can. He’s a playful and slightly clumsy guy, which is where his orange tabby traits shine through. When he wakes up from a nap he will immediately come looking for you so that he can jump on your lap and rub all over you. If you’re looking for an outgoing, super affectionate, lap cat - this little man is the kitten for you. *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.
