Snap is looking for her forever home! This adorable tabby girl likes to play and wrestle with Crackle and Pop. She is friendly, but more shy than her siblings. She is not as fond of being held, but accepts it on her terms. She likes the cat tunnel as well as toys hanging from string or elastic that she can try and catch. She thinks she is the great hunter when she catches it! But, then, it stretches too far and bounces back and she has to start over! She also likes dangle toys as do her siblings. She has lived with cat-friendly dogs in her foster home. She would be fine with older children who are experienced with cats. Snap is about 9 months old. Snap has brown and black tabby markings with some orange and white. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. She is being fostered in Aurora. Story
Meet Cloudia and Sunshine! These two adorable little ladies were found trying to survive outside. They’ve decided they’re much happier indoors, and are ready to find a loving home of their very own. Sweet gray tabby Cloudia may look a bit like a thunder cloud, but she’s a wonderful little Kitty Secretary who will fill your home and heart with rainbows! She loves to be petted gently along her head, back, and sides. She also loves to play, especially with wand toys! She had some scary experiences outside and is easily startled, so she appreciates soft footsteps and a gentle touch. Adorable calico Sunshine is a little bit more of a Wallflower and tends to follow her sister’s lead. Once she’s gotten to know you, she’ll be the sweetest little cat! Like her sister, she loves wand toys! Also like her sister, loud noises can startle her, so she likes it when her humans take things slow and are gentle. Both girls love other cats and would do well in a home with them. These girls would do best in a home without dogs or young children. Both girls are about a year and a half old and can be adopted together for $120 which includes their spays, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. As TLC cats, both girls come with a Home Installation with their favorite volunteer to help them settle in, as well as behavior support if needed. You can click here to fill out an Adoption Application, https://happycatshaven.org/adoption-application/. Someone should get back to you within 48 hours after you send it in. Meet Doc and Clyde! These to adorable little young men were found struggling to survive outside. They’ve decided the indoor life is just so much better, and are ready to find loving forever homes of their very own. Are you ready to make a huge difference in a pair of kitties lives? It is such a rewarding feeling when you know that as these kitties furever pawrents, not only do you love them the most but you are actually their biggest advocate! A family that makes it possible for them to know everyday that they can have complete confidence and trust at home. They are looking for a Superhero! Because of their early experiences in life and around people, Doc & Clyde will need a family with extra patience, willing to let them blossom at their own pace. Little Mister Doc with his tabby face is a Kitty Secretary, which means he loves to help his humans around the house! He may follow you around and supervise you with your daily chores, and might even give you a gentle squeak of encouragement if he thinks you’re doing a good job. At the end of the day, he also likes to play, so bring out the wand toys! At times, Doc likes to just lay somewhere high on his back and watch the world go by, upside down, it’s honesty the best perspective. He is also quite affection and loves to rub against your arms and legs. Adorable Sir Clyde with his white face is a Funny Valentine, which means he’s a shy boy, but very loving. Once he’s settled in and gotten to know you, he’ll be the sweetest, purriest little man. He gets his confidence from his brother and loves to play and cuddle with him too. And, like his brother, he is incredibly intelligent and such a good hunter. He loves to play as well! As superhero kitties, these cats will do best as the only pets in the home. Doc & Clyde have lived at Happy Cats for many months and will need at least 2 months in their Safe Room, a quiet space to learn to trust and love their new family, as well as our Hands Off handling to help them build trust. Superhero Kitties come with a kit that includes helps you support them while they become the lovable companions we know they can be. This includes a home installation, a top/side loading carrier per kitty, support materials & videos customized for your kitty, a mini-class in Hands Down Handling, their favorite toys & bedding, 3 months of food/litter/treats, up to 1 year of professional behavioral counseling if needed and other equipment as needed. Both boys are approximately seven months old and can be adopted together for $120 which includes their neuters, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. Story
Meet our two sweet tabby sisters, Lilian and Marian, known as Lil and Mari! Lil is the one with the more angular features and Mari is more round faced, with a tipped ear badge of courage that shows she was rescued from trying to survive on the streets. They were rescued from a bad situation at a trash company as wee kittens. They had a wonderful foster mom as kittens, so have come a long way from their early days of being terrified of humans. Because of that, though, they will start out as Wallflowers in new situations, hiding somewhere they feel safe and observing for a few days. Once they feel safe, though, they will turn into very loving cats, purring and ready for pets. We expect they’ll be a balance of Kitty Secretary, wanting to know where you are, with a streak of independent, able to entertain themselves when you’re not around…and sometimes when you are?! Lil tends to be a little more confident and will likely be the one who adapts first, coming out to her new family for purrs and pets. Mari is a little more reticent, needing to know 100% that her new home is safe before she takes a chance again on love. Once she does, though, she’s just as much about the headbonks and purrs as Lil is. We expect they’ll be great little sidecar cats, cuddling up beside you on a cold winter’s night. Both are still youngsters at 1.5 years, so playtime is still one of the best ways to their hearts. Mari is the lead playgirl who loves to leap and run with just about any wand toy, with Lil not far behind her! These two ladies will blossom in a calm and quiet environment with just adults to care for them. They grew up with other cats so may do well with another cat or two who is known to like other cats. They will need a gentle and slow introduction for that please. Because of all they’ve been through, they are bonded and need to stay together. They can be adopted together for $120 which includes their spays, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started. We recommend you wait at least a month until they are coming out and interacting in their home until you take them to the veterinarian. You can click here https://happycatshaven.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an Adoption Application or leave a message at 719-725-4970. Someone should get back to you during our adoption hours Wednesday – Sunday by 5 pm . Story
Meet Buffer and Levi, huge handsome bonded brothers ready to turn up the volume on your purr quotient 100%! Buffer is the buff tabby with luscious long fur and tufty toes like his cousins the Maine Coons and Levi is his striking lynx point adopted brother with ice blue eyes that show off his Siamese heritage. They came to Happy Cats when their people added several new cats to their home, making the boys insecure and unhappy. Since they’ve been in foster care with no other animals. they are happy and settled and ready for their new family! Both boys are full-time Kitty Admins, ready to follow you around and supervise your day with almost constant snuggles purrs. Levi leads the way to show Buffer what to do, while Buffer is the classic little brother, waiting for Levi to make the first move but right behind him. They are both big loverboys with people, with Levi always ready for laptime and purrs. Levi loves to start with a vigorous biscuit-making session to show you his love (you might want to have a Biscuit Pad handy) and then rolls around on his back looking for head scritches and gazing at you lovingly. Buffer takes a back seat (let’s face it, most laps don’t have room for nearly 30 pounds of felines!) but loves to snuggle in sidecar style next to your legs. They aren’t couch potatoes though…get out just about any kitty wand and they’re all over the place, leaping and pouncing! They’re great with playing at the same time as long as you have two wands going so they don’t have to share. Buffer makes the cutest little mews as he plays, like he’s talking to his toys. They aren’t super cuddly with each other, but can sometimes be found grooming each other. They are wonderful companions and would be very upset if they didn’t have each other in their new home. The boys were raised on a raw diet but have been transitioned to half kibble. They’ll do best if they can stay on a freeze-dried raw diet for the other half as that’s the taste and texture they understand. It also will help keep their coats as glossy and healthy as they are now. Freeze dried raw food is similar in cost to a high quality canned without the gums and additives. It only needs to have warm water added to be very similar to canned food. These big sweethearts will probably fit in well with just about any family, but really need to be your only Kings of the Castle to thrive and feel like they won’t be displaced again, no other cats or dogs. Levi is technically a senior at 9 years young, so he can be adopted for $100 as a Siamese mix. Since he and 5 year-old Buffer are bonded, Buffer gets to go home with him for half off at $150 for both. That includes their neuters, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started! You can tap here https://happycatshaven.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an Adoption Application or leave a message at 719-725-4970. Story
Have you ever had that joyful experience of finally getting a shy cat to lean into petting with love? If so, Riley & Luka are looking for a Superhero just like you! Adorable little tabby Riley came to Happy Cats after being rescued from trying to survive outside in a homeless camp, which you can tell by her tipped-ear badge of courage. Big handsome tabby Luka has white paws, vest and big green eyes. He came back to us after his guardian died and he was left alone for a long time. They met each other at here at the Haven and have been friends ever since! They are are more than ready to have their own home and family to love. Because of their scary early lives they needed time to learn to trust, but now they get very excited to see their friends! They greet their favorite people with lots of rubs, head bonks and chirps. They both appreciate being able to initiate petting, but once they consent, they are very affectionate. They both love to snuggle next to you when you sit on the floor with their favorite blanket in your lap, which is a kitty magnet for them! Riley will lay and roll in your lap, while Luka is a Sidecar Cat who loves to snuggle right next to you. They also love to be brushed during their snuggle sessions. Being picked up has been scary for them in the past, so they do best when they can be in charge of how and when they are petted. As your favorite Kitty Admins, they can be extremely helpful about the house! We expect they’ll follow you around–especially Riley!–and give you instructions on whatever it is you’re doing. If you do well, they may even reward you with a headbonk and some purrs! Riley is a flirty little lady once you get to know her and Luka will be your steadfast, green-eyed man of the house. Playtime is the best way to win their hearts and keep them confident. In spite of Riley’s sweet appearance, she’s a fierce little hunter when it comes to playtime. Get out any wand toy and you won’t believe how fast she is! Neither of them can resist when a toy disappears under a rug or blanket. They come with a Cat Dancer and fleece wand to keep increasing their confidence at their new home. This will also help them bond to their new family. Both cats love high perches and will come with a cat tree to provide that. Riley survived by hiding up in trees when she was outside and Luka loves his high perches too. This helps them stay confident when they’re feeling a little unsafe. They have lived at Happy Cats for many months and will need at least 2 months in their Safe Room, a quiet space to learn to trust and love their new family, as well as our Hands Off handling to help them build trust. Superhero Cats need to be the only pets in the home and do best in a home without small children. Superhero Kitties come with a kit that helps you support them while they become the lovable companions we know they can be (http://happycatshaven.org/kitty-superhero/). This includes a home installation, a top/side loading carrier per kitty, a mini-class in Hands Off Handling, their favorite toys & bedding, 3 months of food/litter/treats, up to 1 year of professional behavioral counseling if needed. Riley is about 4 and Luka is about 6. They can be adopted together for $90 which along with their Superhero Kit includes their spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter and treats for 3 months, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started. Please wait at least 2 months before taking them in for their checkup. You can click here http://happycatshaven.org/superhero-adoption-application/ to fill out a Superhero Adoption Application. Story
Howdy, I’m Jack! My friends call me Cap’n Jack because I have a little swashbuckle once you get to know me 😻. I’m a handsome white patched tabby with a cute white blaze, mask and front toe socks. I’m a Hemo Hero, having saved hundreds of other cats as a blood donor. Now I’m ready to retire and spend my golden years in the sun. At just 8 years old, I still have a lot of love to give and a lot of life to live! I still love to play like any little whippersnapper whenever you get out the kitty wands, as long as I don’t have to compete with anyone else. I’m an affectionate little guy once playtime is over, ready for headbonks and purrs with my favorite people. I’ll probably be your favorite Kitty Admin, ready to take over managing your home and life just the way you like it. I would love to be your one and only to have all your attention after years of living with lots of other cats. But I’d probably do fine with another nice cat and might be brave enough for a mellow, cat-friendly dog. I should do well with just about any human family. You can adopt me for $80 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. I also just had a dental last month so my pearly whites should be good to go! Story
My pet is a rescue cat, her name is Monkae (Monk-Aye) Monkae has a very bubbly and eccentric personality. Very affectionate and needy as well. She constantly follows me around the house and at any interval that you take a seat, rest, or crouch down. She will immediately demand pets or for you to play. When you come home from work she will come up to you and welcome you home with love and demands for pets! Aside from all of that, Monkae does well with other cats. But hasn't had much interaction with dogs. So I'm unaware how she may handle them. She is skittish at first when meeting new people. But once she bonds with you she'll be your best friend/needy pet for a lifetime!

Story
Pollita (Poy-yeet-aa) was born April 2023 but was taken in by my husband and I in June 2023. She is super cuddly and loves smelling anything you’re eating although she won’t try to eat it unless it’s a fruit. She LOVES to play fetch with legos because of the tapping noise on hardwood floor. She literally waits to drop the piece in your hand and watches you until you throw it. I hate to see her go but I am newly pregnant and my husband is gone on deployment so there is no one to clean the litter and I have no other help. (Pregnant women are not advised to clean litter box) It would also be too much for us with the baby coming. She is a super sweet girl who will cuddle and lay with you when you’re laying or sitting and she will keep you company while you’re moving around your home as well.

Story
Kiana is a senior cat but surprisingly healthy. We took her in about a year ago as she was abandoned in a garage and honestly she was in bad shape. With some love and attention though she is doing well. She can only eat wet food or squeeze packets but does not require medications. Heating pad with bed, toys, and a little tower included with rehoming. She loves playing in her tube and chasing toys. We are moving out of country soon and are unable to take her with us.
