Story
Buttercup is a very sweet but timid girl. She loves to be loved but does not like being picked up. Her purr box works in overdrive the moment you touch her! This group of kitties came to us from a hard situation. They were living in unsanitary conditions and spent their lives in small wire crates. After an extended stay with us, they are now ready for their new homes! We are looking for adopters ready to spoil these babies to the fullest!

Story
Hi, I'm Camden! I'm a light orange tabby boy, and I'm 7 months old! I like to get petted and to curl up in comfy spaces. I'm not a big fan of being here at the shelter--I really don't like the dogs that I can hear from my cage, so I need a furever home with no dogs, please. I might be a little shy when you meet me. I'm told I'm a very sweet boy, and I know once I find my new family, I will love them so much! [CAMDEN IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT FUR BABIES CAT CAFE IN CARROLLTON!]   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Hi, my name is Olive! I'm five months old, and I'm a black and white girl kitty. I like being pet, and I like batting toys around--that is so much fun! Sometimes I'm a little spicy, but just because I'm not thrilled about still being here in the shelter. I really want to  find my furever home soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. PLEASE NOTE:  FREY IS CURRENTLY BEING FOSTERED BY A FAMILY, BUT WILL RETURN TO THE SHELTER SOON. Hey there, I'm Frey. You've probably seen my photos here before. I'm a brown and white tabby boy who is almost a year old, and I was adopted from the shelter briefly. Unfortunately, I was returned because I just wasn't a good fit for the family--I need a family that will be patient and let me come to them for pets. I have been spending time in a foster home so the shelter can better understand what kind of family I need, and that has been great--I get to play with wand toys, springs, and balls, and even better, my foster parents wait for me to come to them on the bed or couch when I want pets. Because I do like to be pet! I like to be pet all over, and get ear scritches, and be loved on--but I need time to get to know you, and I need you to understand that I don't like being picked up or held. I *do* love to snuggle, I just want to sit next to you instead of in your arms. Oh, and I love other cats--I've been playing with my foster brother every day, and I love having a kitty friend. If I'm really relaxed, I might make biscuits or even give you a love bite. My foster mom says I'm a very sweet boy and I deserve a patient family who will love me for me, and that I should probably not be adopted by someone with small kids or dogs. I hope I find my real furever home soon!       The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Cheerio, I'm Wendy! I'm a mostly black girl kitty with a bit of white on my underside. I'm 8 months old. I like playing with toys I can bat with my paws, and while I'm a little shy, I warm up if you give me a little time. I'm sharing a cage with my brothers, John and Michael. We're really hoping we can fly away to our Furever Ever land soon!      The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hello, you can call me Melepomene. I'm a black girl kitty of six months, and like my sisters, I'm named after a Greek Muse. In my case, my name means 'to celebrate with dance and song', so that's pretty cool. I'm still working on my singing voice; right now all I can really do is meow, but maybe I can expand that into chirping if I see like, a cool bird I want to catch or something. There aren't really any birds here at the shelter, so I'm gonna need to find a furever home if I want to work on that.  Wheezy and I are sharing a cage now.  We kept opening the dividers so we could interact and play with each other.  The shelter staff removed the dividers so now we both share one big cage and really enjoy spending more time with each other.          The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
