Story
Hi, my name is Tara and I'm 5 years old.  Me and my litter mate Toby were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from Bond County Animal Control when we were 14 weeks old.  I am sociable, but quiet and laid back compared to my litter mate.  I like to lay on a perch and watch everyone. I can be coaxed to play, but I'm content to be a bystander.  I am shy about being held and petted. Sometimes I like interacting with younger people better than with adults.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is by donation.  If you are interested in adopting me please complete an adoption profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.    A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds or returns is available upon request. December 1, 2023, 4:36 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Simba and I'm about 2 years old. I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society as a kitten and later adopted. The family's circumstances recently changed and they could not keep me so I was returned to BCHS after several months. The family consisted of 3 adults and 4 children.  I was good with everyone in the family.   I'm shy and hide when new people visit, but warm up after I meet them a few times.  They say one of the cutest or nicest things about me is I am a good companion. I like to be around people. My favorite things are treats and a ball with a bell inside it.  At the shelter  I like to watch everything going on in my room. I especially like to climb on the cat trees and shelves in my room. I get along with the other cats in my room.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $65.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.December 1, 2023, 4:36 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Coco and I'm about 2 years old.  When I was about 1 year old, my owner was unable to keep me and surrendered me and my 5 week-old kittens and several other cats and kittens to Bond County Humane Society so we could find loving fur-ever homes. I lived in a foster home with my kittens until they were old enough to be adopted. Then I was adopted, but after several months I was returned to Bond County Humane Society due to my owner's health concerns. The lady said that the cutest thing I did was running up to her sideways to give her some kisses and get petted while I purred. I am now in a foster home, and my foster mom says I am very sweet and I like being picked up and will take all of the pets you want to give me. I am a pretty quiet little girl and am comfortable with my own company. You will often find me in the cat tree just hanging out and watching the world around me. I am OK about dogs being around. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $65.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohs.petfinder.com .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is ChaCha and I'm about 3 1/2 years old.  I was rescued and taken in by a Bond County Humane Society foster mom when my 4 babies were 5 days old. My foster mom says I am a very good mama and I love playing with my babies. I like to follow my foster mom around, and walk right by her feet. She has to be careful not to stumble over me! I am very nosy around people food, but I never try to steal a sample taste. I sometimes sleep at the end of the bed and sometimes I sleep on the couch on my soft plush blanket. I love, love, love soft plush blankets! I am a little shy, but after I get to know you I like to climb up on laps and get petted. Sometimes I do not get along with the other adult cats in my foster home. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $65.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Rose and I'm about 17 months old. I was rescued from Bond County Animal Control by Bond County Humane Society along with my 3 sisters when we were about 12 days old. We were bottle-fed by our foster mom until we could eat on our own.  I was adopted in January 2023, but returned because her husband had severe allergies.  My adopter said my best qualities are I am loving, affectionate and like to cuddle.  My favorite thing to do is chase a laser light.  In April 2023 I was diagnosed with a condition called feline enteric coronavirus that affects the GI system.  There is no treatment for the condition, but it is possible that I will recover from the condition.  We just don't know how long it could take.  It can be passed on to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the house.  My litter mate, Munchkin, has also been diagnosed with the condition so we could live together.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is by donation.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Safari and I'm about 3 years old.  I was a stray and was rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am friendly and playful.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. Sometimes I sit on the office desk and greet the visitors. I am considered Special Needs because when I was tested for FeLV/FIV, I tested negative for FeLV, but positive for FIV. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care. It is extremely important for me to stay healthy. When there are other FIV positive cats in my room,  I get along well with them. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is by donation.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
