Story
Andrew Dice Cat, or Dice as he is affectionately known, started out with a pretty tough life as a stray in Chicago. When he came into foster care he took a little while to learn the ropes of an indoor kitty, but thanks to lots of love from his foster family he is now a sweet and independent boy with the best manners! Dice is a quieter guy who really appreciates the finer things in life, lots of tasty treats and snoozing the afternoon away perched on his cat tree. Currently Dice lives in an adult-only foster home and really thrives with people who are attuned to his cues, letting you know when he is ready to play, when he wants pets, and when he is ready for some quiet time. When Dice gets to know you and feels comfortable in his space, he really loves to play and interact with people! He shows his affection by giving head bumps and rubbing up on your leg. And if Dice decides you're a part of his trusted circle of humans he may even start to groom you! When he gets really happy, he has a great purr motor. And if you have some treats on you, you better believe you will be Dice's best friend! He is a treat fiend and is always ready for a snack. Dice's favorite toy is a wand toy called "da bird" which he loves to chase around and show how fast he is. Dice’s ideal home is with experienced cat owners who are happy to take their time as he learns to trust them. He does give signals when he is getting overwhelmed, and would love a family who respects these signals and gives him space when he needs it. After Dice gets the chance to decompress in his new home, we know he will show you his wonderful personality! Dice has learned a lot from watching the other cats at his foster’s home, and would love a cat companion who is able to learn and respect his boundaries. Currently Dice hangs out with 6 easy going adult kitties, so he would love to have other calm adult kitty pals or sweet younger kitty pals in his new home. Dice has not been exposed to dogs at his foster home, but as he can be a little shy we are not certain he would be as successful in a home with an energetic dog. Andrew Dice Cat has been in foster care for almost a year, and we have no idea why nobody is scooping up this handsome, independent, and sweet kitty! Dice deserves the best forever family and whoever gets this hunk is in for a lifetime of love from this guy! Story
Buttons is a beautiful girl who lets her siblings take the lead but will cuddle up against you too. She likes to be pet but is cautious at first. When she's ready she will come right up beside you. She can be shy at first but gets over it quickly to reveal the sweet girl that she is. She is playful and likes to jump up really high and grab any toys that are hanging over the edge of the couch. This mischevious girl once climbed into a kitty litter container and couldn't be found, a search party was formed to look for her throughout the whole house! Buttons might prefer a quieter household but she is used to the busy house here with all her siblings making a racket. She could adapt to a more active household. She's a sweet girl who would do great with kids, dogs, or other cats. As a young cat Buttons should be adopted with one of her siblings Yeller or Spotz. She can also be adopted with another playful feline friend in the household. Story
This sweet lug of a guy is Sylvester!! After starting off as a shy kitty, he has really blossomed into the sweetest boy! He is always asking for pets and ready to head butt you for some more attention. Seriously though, he's pretty needy so get ready to give a lot of love!! Just seeing his sweet little face will melt your heart. As a young kitty, he really enjoys the finer things in life like birdwatching out the window, lounging in a cat tower, and chasing around a ball toy or cat wand. Sylvester does experience chronic nasal inflammation and may need regular antibiotics to help keep this in check. He’s been on them consistently over the last year and is easy to medicate if it's necessary. He is not on a consistent prescription. Sylvester gets along well with other cats, and is great with people who are gentle and kind to him. In his forever home, he would prefer to have a kitty pal to be his best buddy and to play with him when he has his bursts of kitten-like energy, but he can also go solo to a home with humans who can give him plenty of play time and affection. He has met dogs before, but is pretty neutral about them. He could probably coexist with a dog friend in his forever home. Sylvester cannot wait to be your best pal and curl up next to you on the couch while you binge Netflix! Apply for this sweet guy today! Story
Meet Silver! This sweet boy wants to be your loyal friend! Silver is quite the young man!  He was rescued about a year ago from the outside, just before the winter. He was lonely, cold, and hungry, and it broke all of our hearts to see him in such a state.  After he was taken indoors, the looks of appreciation and love were unending!  You could certainly tell how happy he was to finally be warm and well fed, not to mention all the love he has received!  He did have some medical issues due to fending for himself on the streets for so long. Thanks to FFF and his wonderful foster home Silver has made a complete recovery and is doing all the things normal cats do!  Turns out this boy likes all the attention for himself; therefore, he needs to be the only cat in the home. Silver loves his humans and has a very sweet and curious temperament.  He is an easygoing and playful young man. He enjoys laying in the window watching the world and keeping his humans company in bed while reading a good book.  When he is in play mode, he likes to chase his feather toys and run around the house. Silver is very laid back and would do well in a more peaceful environment.  He may do well with older children. He’s affectionate but also likes his space. He adores his belly rubs and ear scratches!  If you are interested in meeting Silver, please apply at the link below.  This curious and sweet boy is sure to bring loving companionship and joy into your home! Story
Mick is a social cat who is looking to live out his senior years with an amazing family! Mick likes to be in the same room as his people! He is not a lap cat, but he loves sitting next to you and collecting pets! Mick may be 15, but that doesn’t stop him from being super playful! He loves to chase mouse toys and feather wands.  Mick is the king of the couch. He spends most of the day sleeping in various positions and locations, and will give the side eye if you disturb him by making too much noise (though he seems to be able to ignore it easily). He is also content to share his favorite spot and to sit beside you and receive pets! If he needs more attention he will meow the most adorable little chirps! He's (when he chooses to be) very curious about the goings-ons in the house, and wants to be a part of it!  Mick would likely adapt to any household that gives him sufficient space to do his own thing. He doesn't need people around, but will accept whatever attention he is offered. He does wake up in the morning and begin to meow/chirp to wake you up affection, the sweetest alarm clock you can find! He would do well with older, respectful kids or in an adults only family too. His preference would likely to be an only kitty so he can be the center of your attention. He would likely prefer a home without any dogs.  He can’t wait to meet his new family! Story
Sedona is a very curious kitten-ninja. She loves to chase a laser pointer so much, that she will run up the wall using whatever there is to give her a leg up. Legend has it that she can also scale ceilings, but this has not been confirmed. Sedona is such a kitten-ninja, she finds hard-to-see places to nap occasionally! She loves getting pets from her human/s at her own pace. Once she decides you’re friendly, she is all about the pets. Sedona has no problem with other cats and a loud dog. Sedona needs to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend, and if you don't already have a kitty in your home we will happily suggest a pal for her! Apply for this cutie pie! Story
I'm Molly, a beautiful dark tortoiseshell kitten. I'm friendly and social and ready for my forever home. I'm used to living with other cats, and will make a perfect playmate for your resident feline. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat. Kittens really need a feline playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home, wrestle with each other instead of with your ankles, and grow up with an always-available companion. Bored cats can become destructive cats. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we may consider adopting out a single kitten. We usually prefer that they be 4 months or older. But each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Many of our kitten litters may also be able to be mixed ‘n matched to make a pair if they are not particularly bonded with a sibling. Each foster home knows the kittens' personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements or mix/matching. Molly's estimated date of birth is 6-5-22, and his adoption fee of $195 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.

Story
This is Splashy, so named because her rescuer thought that her markings looked like she had paint splashed on her! She's totally adorable but still somewhat timid. Her foster mom is able to pick her up and hold her close and pet her. No purring yet. We just think she needs more time. Or, some cats just aren't big purrers. Splashy is very bonded with her friendly brother Mr. Whiskers and having him around is teaching her to be more confident. They would ideally like to be adopted together. They make a perfect ready-made pair. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat.
