Not good with kids,
Story
Whats good for the Goose is good for well, anyone lucky enough to spend time with him! Our boy Goose is just plain fun. He has the biggest personality, says his foster dad. He is always looking for trouble. He likes to burn off energy on a cat wheel or perfecting his very favorite pastime wrestling! Our boys affectionately call him the toe rat because when he is feeling rowdy, he will attack your toes. Gooses foster family discovered he needs a certain diet to thrive, but otherwise hes as versatile as cats come. Goose would be happy in any home: quiet, loud, dogs, cats, says his foster dad. But he does need a willing wrestling buddy! - Buzz.

Good with cats,
Story
When Chianti first arrived at Whiskers with three kittens in tow, she was as spicy as her vino namesake. The thought was that, once her babies were weaned and Chianti was spayed, she would be returned to her outdoor home. But in just her short time with us, Chianti has aged like fine wine and proven shes meant to be someones loyal companion. I am so impressed with the progress that she has made going from scary protective mamma to the sweetheart she is now, says her foster dad. No longer focused on being the fierce protector of kittens, Chianti is a sweet girl that loves attention with a little bit of sass hiding beneath the surface." Shes even gone out of her way to befriend other cats in her foster home, including an orphan kitten who needed a buddy. It turns out that Chianti had so much love bottled up, just waiting for the right people. Can she serve up her next round for you? - Buzz.

Good with cats,
Story
If we gave out most improved awards to Whiskers kitties, Charlotte would be a contender. When she first arrived here after being found as a stray, she was so scared that she just hid in her kennel. But this beautiful dilute tortie loves people so much, she was determined to be brave! Charlotte is a shy girl but has so much love to give, says her foster mom. When she wants pets, she will grab my hand with her front paws and give me a few licks to encourage me to pay attention to her. In fact, even though Charlotte is a youngster, she prefers pets to playing and is already an expert lap cat. Shed thrive in a quieter home and, according to her foster mom, is one of those cats who seems so thankful to be cared for after her former life on the street. She will beg for pets and loves it when someone provides her a lap for her to sit on. She would love to have her own dedicated humans to shower with love. - Buzz.

Good with cats,
Story
Sybil arrived at Whiskers TNR as a colony cat with what appeared to be little humansocialization, says her foster dad. Then came a sign of hope that she could be adopted someday:Sybil would rub against her kennel door at the mere sight of people. She started to blossom. Now she talks to you when you walk into the room. If you sit on the floor, she will even climbup onto your lap. Sybil is still learning her manners around humans, and her future adopter will need to take the time to get to know her and encourage her, but she is ready to show off hernewly found cuddly/silly streak. Not only does she love to get her pets, shes figured out thatpeople often come with her favorite toy attached: drawstrings! You have to pay attention if sheis sitting with you and you are wearing a hoodie or sweatpants. She will find that drawstring, nomatter what! Has this sweet and sassy girl drawn you in? - Buzz.

Story
When LuLu first came to Whiskers, we thought she was an older kitty, thanks to those adorablesmudges of white hair on her face. Turns out her tortie markings are just extra unique! Theveterinarian determined LuLu is practically a kitten at 12 to 18 months old. Her markings, saidher foster mom, when asked about her favorite thing about Lulu. And how she always has herpurr motor on when you come in the room. But then, this sweet, shy girl is a bit of an old soulwhos had to fight for her life. She was sick, her foster mom said of LuLus arrival atWhiskers. She has made great strides and is now healthy. She is a survivor! LuLu would behappiest in a quieter home where her people will give her time to settle in. But once she feelssafe, this super sweet girl leans in for chin scratches and loves to be around her human.Could it be you? - Buzz.

Story
Capri was barely more than a kitten herself when she came to Whiskers TNR expecting her firstlitter. Thankfully, her best friend, Sage, was also there and also with babies on the way! Andwhen all those kittens arrived, this tortie twosome raised them all together in the most adorableway, even opting to share the same bed. They are always together, their foster mom said at thetime. They are both super friendly and sweet cats! Now retired from motherhood, Sage andCapri are ready to dote on humans in forever homes. While theyd be a joy to adopt together, theyve recently been showing their independent streaks. Capri is a little more timid but full ofkitten-like play. She loves pets but learned to cuddle us after a few weeks, according to thekids in their foster home. Still a kitten herself, she acted very young and playful. Capri also hastwo adorable habits: talking and preening a lot! Are you ready for a heart-to-heart withCapri? - Buzz.
