Story
Katie is a 13-14 year old spayed, dilute calico, low maintenance female cat who is looking for her forever home. She has lived with the same man and woman her entire life but he was recently moved to a nursing home after his wife died and she was not allowed to go with him. I have been fostering her for about 4 months now with the intentions to keep her but she is very distressed by my other two cats. She enjoys the company of my 10 month old baby, my husband, and is okay being near our small 9 pound dog too. All she really wants is a nice big window to curl up in and the occasional lap to snuggle up on. She is a very sweet old lady but gets overwhelmed very easily by the other cats in the house. Katie would do best in a home with no other cats, and preferably no active dogs or children. She is the kind of cat that just likes to relax in her armchair. Katie doesn't really enjoy playing with toys on her own, but will occasionally chase a string toy if you initiate play with her.

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
We found this spunky little guy and would love to keep him but unfortunately our (attached male) cat does not get along well with him. He is amazing with humans and so fun to snuggle and play with. He does well with dogs and would likely do well with cats if they were both fixed or it was a female cat. He says “Hello” when he meows and loves human attention. He will make a wonderful addition to any cat lovers home. **He will need an experienced pet owner as he has sprayed a few times but primarily does use the litter box (separate box from our cat).

Story
Payton is 11 years old! She was my great grandmas cat who passed away around a year ago. Nobody else in my family was able to take her so my aunt and i were the ones to take on the job but its becoming a lot considering we are both disabled and there are other pets in the house who she doesnt get along with so she isnt able to roam freely and we hate to see her stuck in one place. She is healthy and litter box trained and loves attention. Shes quiet most of the time unless shes hungry! Shes a very sweet girl, just not fit for our home with the two dogs and other small kitten because she was an only pet for many years. we dont want her to go to a shelter and scare her!

Story
Smokey is an unclaimed stray who is about 2 years old. He is very sweet, friendly and talkative. He will follow you around like a dog and loves to be petted. He’s a vocal little kitty. He has been vetted and microchipped and is ready for his forever home! Smokey will need to be an indoor cat and keep his claws. His adoption fee is $50. He is being fostered in northern Kentucky—near the airport, so meet and greets will have to occur there. If you are interested in Smokey, head over to our website and fill out the cat adoption application. https://www.bluegrassdobermanrescue.org/cat-adoption-application/

He will be adopted out as an indoor non declawed kitty only. Luckett is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and his adoption donation fee is $50. Story
Skittles was born April 9, 2024. Handsome little kitten that looks a lot like his Mom Candy. He loves to play and hunt cat nip mice, catches them all the time! Skittles will be adopted out as an indoor non-declawed kitty only. He is up to date on vaccines for his age but still needs more. Also too young to be neutered right now. For these reasons Skittles will be adopted out in the Louisville or Cincinnati areas only so they can go back to the rescue vet to finish up with vaccines and neuter. The adoption donation fee is $50 and that will cover the vetting that still needs to be done.
