Lulu came to us from a friend who could no longer keep her. She’s a foster to us as we can only keep her temporarily. She’s young, I would imagine not even a year old or just at a year. She’s a little skiddish but not terrified skiddish. She likes to meow loud at you when she’s ready to eat (which is always). super sweet cat in need of a good home.

Meet our beautiful Katalie. Katalie was found after giving birth to her 7 beautiful babies. Katalie was a great mommy. So great that she took in a little orphan baby no questions asked. That gave Katalie 8 little babies to take care of. Her babies are now grown and have found furever homes. Katalie lives with several her cats and they all know she's the boss. Taz is a very sweet & pretty cat I found at a local Midas shop. She can be shy at first but loves attention as well as her fish & heart toys. You can pick her up & hold her close for a good while before she will “ask” to be put down. Rowdy young kids can make her a bit nervous but she has not really had close contact with them for long so she very well might be able to adjust to them. She makes cat & dog friends once she gets to know them if they are friendly & not too rambunctious.

Paws is very sweet brown tabby with very cute white paws who likes to cuddle (see 2nd picture) once he’s ready to rest. He also has a lot of energy like some young cats do. I found Paws when he was very tiny (see 3rd picture) at an O’Reilly’s where I feed other cats. He ran right up to me to be rescued. Paws enjoys playing & also loves to eat. He would probably do best in a home where someone has time to play with him/tire him out & he has plenty of toys to keep him busy. Paws has made cat friends when gradually introduced & then they will play well but his strong personality might be a bit much for some cats, especially if they are very laid back.

Ellie was found in the back of a fertilizer delivery truck by some kind ladies at a local feed store. I took over her care the next day. Bottle fed at 3-6 weeks old she is a very active and thriving kitten now eating canned/hard kitten food. Ellie is quite the entertainer with never a dull moment playing for a few hours than napping after. She lives inside with us and sleeps with us but loves her bed too. She is litter box trained, has been vaccinated and spayed. She is now 9 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds. She loves to play with my three small dogs and chasing after her toys. Meredith used to be a member of a feral cat colony in Broussard. They have a caretaker that sees to their needs, and they all usually do fairly well there. However, we decided to take in Meredith because she was quite sick and needed to be on medication for multiple weeks. During that time, she's been in a foster home and has adjusted to the house-cat life quite well. She's now completely healthy and ready to find a forever home! Meredith is very much a diva and likes things her way. She's more like a roommate than a pet, to be honest. She can be very vocal when she wants something, usually either food or to go in/out of a specific room. She's not really a cuddley cat, but she does enjoy people's company. You'll often find her napping on the couch next to her foster parents while they're watching TV. The best way to win over Meredith's heart is through food - any kind of treats will do. You can also always count on her to join you in the kitchen when you're cooking food or sitting down for a meal. Meredith absolutely adores other cats and loves to play with the other foster kittens. Because of this, we'd love to see her go to a home that already has one or more friendly cats, but she'd probably be fine as an only child too. She's currently living with three large dogs and gets along with them quite well as long as they respect her personal space.
