Meester is looking for a family to call his own. He’s a burrower and loves getting cozy under blankets. He really enjoys water toys where he can bat around little fake fish and also really enjoys stick string toys. He’s very chatty when being touched and will have conversations with you as soon as he wakes up (he’s a big sleeper!!).He absolutely loves the liquid type treats and likes cuddling up to you in the evening for pets. Straw got his name because he was found limping outside Straw Cove Bakery Co., and yes — this bakery baby came with extra crunch: a broken hip and leg. But after several weeks of strict cage rest, Straw has bounced back beautifully and is more than ready to run free into his forever home! This little guy is affectionate, playful, and snuggly enough to melt butter. He adores other cats, is obsessed with food (especially cottage cheese), and would likely do well with dogs after a slow, proper introduction. He would be a wonderful companion for kids, too. Straw’s heroic recovery means he’ll need regular vet check-ins to keep an eye on his hip and make sure he keeps a healthy weight.
