Story

Rita was a stray when I found her. She was 6 months old and pregnant already. She had 4 beautiful babies. She is a great cat and momma. Unfortunately since she was a stray she has never cared for dogs and she likes to hide in the basement most of the day now. We love her very much but we also want her to be in a happier environment and that would have to be in one without dogs. She does okay with other cats as far as we know. We have her daughter Willow as well that we are looking to rehome and would really like if Rita and her daughter could stay together as they have been together for the last 2 years. They are litter box trained and do very well about not scratching furniture. I am not rehoming because they are bad cats, I just want them to be in a home where they don't feel the need to hide all day. They are great and deserve lots of love and affection.

Story

Looking to rehome my almost 4mo old orange female. The vet has estimated her age and determined she isn’t quite old enough to be fixed yet. She was so tiny when I got her that she hasn’t been big enough for vaccines either, although she did get the vaccine for the respiratory illness (FVRPC). She has had 2 rounds of flea/tick medicine (Revolution) and is due for her rabies vaccination. She is liter trained, I’ve been using Feline Pine pellets. She is the only pet in the home. She has lots of energy, loves to play, and enjoys the company of someone to lay with, however she isn’t the best with my 5yo who wants to hold and snuggle her. We have found that she is also a good mouser! I live in a 100-year old house and mice happen. She has caught and killed 2 mice!
