Story
Snowdrop and Cloudy are looking for a new home due to expanding human family. We are not able to provide adequate vet care and time to them as they deserve. They are great with children and even let our 4 year old carry them around without any fuss. They have only had claws out when using scratching posts, never towards any human companions. They are a bonded pair and we would love to keep them together.

Story
Rufus, is the name I gave to this sweet stray 1 year old male cat needs a new home. He has been hanging around my property for a few months now. He is not feral but he has and independent personality. I don't know anything about this cat's history or origin. I have no idea how long he has been living on his own, being an independent kitty. He is friendly with people, he lets me pet him and pick him up. He was brought to the vet for an exam, got neutered, updated rabies, and distemper shots on 12/16. He is a good guy and just needs a new home where he can thrive. If you have a farm, barn, business that could use a friendly varmint control agent, give this friendly guy a chance to be your new buddy. I believe he could live inside a home with people. I think he just needs a loving family to give him a chance on a new life. I will transport him to you with a big bag of food and kitty bed. I am reaching out to inquire if there are any organizations that assist in placing cats like him.

Story
4 year old maleIf you are reading this information, it is because the cat came to us with no background history, and we haven’t had enough time with the cat to know if they like other cats, dogs or kids yet. It does take time for cats to adjust to the shelter. It is best to come in and meet the cat in person to know what you think of their personality while you are here. We do recommend you bring small children in to meet the cats, we tend to find that most cats will choose the children and be the best of friends. We will give you information on how to properly introduce cats together. All our cats use the litterbox but that does not imply that we know what they’ll do in a different environment. Please bring along a crate for your adopted friend. We do have cardboard carriers at the shelter as well for $7.50 plus tax. We also ask that you bring landlord permission, and that declawing is not recommended.
