Story
Holland showed up on a woman`s front porch during this recent January, 2025 snow storm basically knocking at her door to let him in, poor thing. He was intact, super SWEET and LOVING. She wanted to keep him so badly, but already had several cats of her own who wouldn`t accept a new cat into their crew. Holland has gorgeous eyes and the cutest little white feet. He has a personality that won`t stop. Please call Country Acres Rescue at 636-227-1919 or visit our website at www.countryacresrescue.org to inquire more about Holland and the adoption process. Holland is waiting patiently for his new family!

Story
Puma is about 7 years old. He needs a calm house where he will be loved by all. If he feels threatened/unloved he will mark. He cuddles on his own terms. He sleeps with his humans. He has lived with dogs peacefully. He's never lived with cats. Aside from behavioral stress marking, he's low maintenance. I hate to rehome him, but it's in his best interest. Small rehoming fee just for a commitment to him. I want him to be loved.

Story
Marni was found outside as a stray in December, 2020. She was taken in by an elderly woman who really could not keep her, however, cared for Marni until she found a desirable rescue for surrender. Marni can be a shy girl, but she is more outgoing by the day. Having our wonderful skilled volunteers work with her daily has really enabled Marni to branch out and come out of her shell. She is a gorgeous brown tabby with striking, defined stripes. She is interested in anything with a string, and would love a home to call her own. Please call Country Acres Rescue to inquire more on Marni and how to make her a part of your loving family!!

Story
Kacey had a litter of five babies outside in 100+ degree heat at an apartment complex. Luckily, a wonderful person found Kacey with her litter of two-day old kittens and brought them to Country Acres Rescue. Kacey was the best Mama to her littles, she was loving, attentive and protective. Kacey is still learning to trust staff and volunteers as she was outside fending for herself for over a year. She is quiet and loves watching people and birds out her window. Kacey has the sweetest, most precious face - she deserves a second chance at a good life. Please call CAR at 636-227-1919 to find out more about Kacey and how to make her apart of your family.

Story
Well, howdy there, humans! I'm Bennie, the undisputed king of charm and charisma in the cat world. That's right, I've been rocking the feline scene for a solid ten years, and let me tell you, I've been searching for my purrfect match for a whopping six of those! When it comes to attention, I'm like a magnet for nose boops, kisses, and lap time. I lap up affection like it's the last bowl of cream on earth! (Side note: cats are lactose intolerant.) And let's talk playtime - nothing gets my whiskers twitching like a good ol' wand toy, especially 'Da Bird.' I'll pounce, swat, and strut my stuff like a furry ninja in training! Now, let's address the elephant in the room - or should I say, the drama queen? Yep, that was me once upon a time. But fear not, dear humans, for I've found the cure to my melodramatic tendencies - a happy pill a day keeps the diva at bay! Trust me, it's made a world of difference. When it comes to my fellow felines, I do have my standards. I prefer my playmates to be of the submissive female variety. As for our canine counterparts, as long as they're respectful and understand that I'm the true alpha, we'll get along just fine. Now, let's talk about mini-humans. While I appreciate their enthusiasm, I must admit, I prefer a more mature audience. Teens, in particular, are my jam. They can read the moment and appreciate the nuances of my unique personality. After all, age ain't nothing but a number, right? So, if you're ready to add a touch of charm, a sprinkle of sass, and a whole lot of love to your life, look no further than Bennie, your feline match made in heaven. Adopt me, and let the good times - and the nose boops - roll! If you're ready to be my forever human, please reach out to shannon@catnetwork.org. Story
Clyde is 13 yrs old as of 2/1/23, but does not act like an old man! He is very playful and talkative. He loves to be petted, and he loves to be showered with attention. He wants to always be around you and will talk if he cannot see you. He does seem to like women more than men, but has never nipped or scratched at anyone.  He would love to be in a quiet home where he would be the center of attention. Clyde would do best in a home with no cats, dogs, or people under the age of 18, and with someone who has owned cats in the past.  Clyde requires thyroid medication twice a day, and his foster mom gives it to him with canned cat food.      Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).November 6, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
Hello world meet Miss Ellie!  As of December 19, 2023  Ellie is estimated to be about 5.5 years old. Ellie started life outside in the elements and despite her best efforts no one would take her in. Fast foreword a couple of months: she finally connected with the right human! Ellie got her vetting and her glow up began.  She has come so far! Her fur is so soft and plush, her eyes are bright and shiny, and she is in love with all of the human attention she can get!   Ellie would do the best in an adult only home and she would need to rule the house.  no other kitties or doggos.  She chirps when she is happy and excited, loves her soft blankets, all kinds of toys, and of course cat napping.    Her face is very unusual- don't let that RBF face fool you, she is the sweetest. Her eyes are the most beautiful shade of green. She will start up a purr and make biscuits when she gets a petting session going, so cute!   Let's get Ellie home for the holidays!

Story
Boopsy and her siblings were born outside to a feral mother. While inside during spay recovery, Boopsy started purring and wasn't afraid of human attention, so Boopsy started on her journey to be a pampered house cat! She is a beautiful classic tabby with lots of swirls in her fur. She is a healthy girl who loves to run and jump around, chasing the other cats and kittens. Boopsy has a great time with electronic cat toys that have feathers that move, or a laser light that bounces around – but toasting in a sunny window is also a favorite pastime.  She enjoys watching the birds through the window. She does prefer her humans to be "short" – so when you are "tall" she sometimes darts around or away from you, but once you sit on the sofa or on your bed, be prepared for company.  LOUD purring company.  Boopsy loves to be where her foster mom is and loves to sit on her for a brief period of time and then snuggle in next to her for hours of petting or just "being".  She likes to curl up as close to you as she can when you are in bed – next to your legs or behind your knees (and yes, PURR). Boopsy is a very happy, even tempered girl who needs another cat as a companion.  She likes to cuddle with her siblings – or the other foster cats.   Boopsy is a good weight, but loves to eat, and, thankfully, at this point, is NOT a counter-surfer!   Because she was born in a feral colony, she did receive an ear notch when she was spayed, but we think that only adds to her character! Boopsy would be a fantastic addition to anyone's family.

Story
Here’s the story, of a lovely torbie, who was bringing up 6 very cute kittens, none of them look at all like their mother, they must take after that darn tom…. Meow, and hello out there! I’m Carol, the mama of the Brady Bunch kittens. I am a petite young lady, weighing less than 8 pounds. I was born outside in spring 2023 in Festus, MO. A year later,  I brought my 6 kittens to some nice people’s deck, and a week later I was taking my first car ride to our foster mom. I am a bit shy but I enjoy pets and don’t hide from strangers. I will sometimes follow my foster mom around her house as I try to understand this strange human species and their habits. I am a huge fan of wet cat food — it’s the key to my heart!  I get along fine with the native cats and other young adult fosters here. I have even tamed The Beast (alpha cat) who has made previous mama cats miserable! I would love a furever home with another friendly young cat. I am about a year old as of May 2024.  To learn more or to be pre-approved for adoption please contact us at: catnetwork.org   Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).November 6, 2024, 12:12 am
