Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Burt came to Country Acres Rescue in January, 2023. He was a shelter transfer from Snuggle, a group who helps neonate kittens get on their feet before coming to a shelter like CAR. Burt had some tummy issues since he came into our care. We have done every test, probe, scope and screening there is on Burt to find out why he had tummy issues at such a young age - Burt is perfectly healthy, but he does have a simply food allergy. When Burt is on Science Diet Biome dry food, he does GREAT. Burt is such an affectionate, happy boy. All he wants is a loving family and a home of his own. Please contact CAR at 636-227-1919 to inquire more on Burt and how to give him the forever home he deserves.

Story
Bam-Bam and Pebbles were surrendered by the daughter of the woman who took them in when they were abandoned by their original owner. The woman's Mother had them for about 6-months in her home; Bam-Bam lived with other cats, dogs and a ferret; she did great! Bam-Bam can be a bit shy, but once she warms up, she is super loving and SWEET. Bam-Bam would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. Please call 636.227.1919 to inquire about Bam-Bam and find out how to make her apart of your family!

Mama, Yennifer and her babies, Geralt, Jaskier, Ciri were found together on the side of a busy highway by one of our very own staff members, Dakota. Phoenix and his siblings, Austin, Dallas, and Philly were found outside as a strays this past Summer, 2023. Phoenix and his family were fed and watched over by a sweet family who cared very deeply that they end up in a reputable, loving rescue to find forever homes. Phoenix is the most outgoing of his litter, he is such a LOVER-BUGGER. He has such charming ways, and uses his paws a lot; he is so much fun to interact with. Phoenix has really dark and defined tiger stripes, eye catching. He loves playing with EVERYTHING and is super sweet with his siblings. Please call Country Acres Rescue to inquire more on Phoenix and how to make him a part of your loving family!!

Story
Hey there, I'm Bennie, a 9-year-old lovable and charismatic cat who's in search of my forever home! I love attention, especially nose boops, kisses, and lap time. I'm a fun-loving and very playful guy, but I do have a bit of a wild side, so you'll want to be prepared for some antics! I'll admit I can be a little bit of a drama queen sometimes, but I'm working on it! My foster family knows how to read my body language and help me feel comfortable. Plus, I take a happy pill daily to help me feel more at ease, which has made a world of difference! I'm cool with most cats, but I can be a bit picky when it comes to my playmates. As for kids, well, let's just say I prefer a more mature audience. Teens are more my speed; they can read the moment and appreciate my unique personality. Overall, I'm a fantastic cat with so much love to give. I'm just looking for a patient and understanding family who can appreciate my quirks and love me for who I am. If you're ready to be my forever human, please reach out to shannon@catnetwork.org. Can't wait to meet you! Story
Domino, 5 yrs old as of 2/28/23, is what is known as a "very good boi". He was rescued from a local animal control facility along with his brothers, Pirate and DB (Pirate was adopted). He is a calm and friendly boy who flops over and wallows around soaking up belly rubs and pets, sometimes giving tiny little love nibbles. He does very well with other cats and is a great comfort to his brother DB (he and DB must be adopted together).  A home without young children might be better since he can startle easily and then hides. Domino and DB have both had 2 dentals in the past couple years, so their teeth will need to be monitored by a vet. Other than that, they are both very healthy boys. DB and his brother will need ample time to get adjusted to their new home, but after that they really start to show their personalities! Domino will roll back and forth on his back for belly rubs and it is the cutest thing. He likes to pull the covers down at the top of the bed, think of it as your own personal turn down service haha. He also likes to sleep under the covers of the bed during the day. Both of the brothers love to be up high and can jump higher than any cat I know. They will sleep throughout the day and then in the evening will be exploring. And also look forward to epic wrestling matches! They are not lap cats and are very independent, if you want low maintenance kitties, these are your boys. Domino will hiss if he is scared, but we have never seen any nipping or swatting at humans or cats.   Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).March 22, 2024, 3:53 pm

Story
DB (short for Dot Boy; as you can see, he has a dot on his chin) is 5 yrs old as of 2/28/23. He was rescued from a local animal control facility along with his brothers, Pirate and Domino (Pirate has been adopted). DB is a little shy at first, but really enjoys attention (especially scritches on the back of his neck), and loves to bump heads with people!  He LOVES other cats and must be adopted with his brother Domino (and would be happy to have another cuddly cat in the home to snuggle with).  DB and his brother have both had 2 dentals in the past couple years, so their teeth will need to be monitored by a vet. Story
Luna (5 yrs old as of 5/1/22) loves to be up high and would like to have a cat tree or perch where she can stare down and judge you haha. She looks like she is taking note of everything you have ever done wrong, but I think that she just loves having a good view of everything. Her grumpy face is everything.  She will talk to you sometimes and will let you know what is on her mind. She LOVES treats and LOVES to be brushed with a brush. When you stop brushing her she will meow to let you know you can't be done yet! She is a very low maintenance cat, content to lie in the sun or sit in the same room as you. At night she sleeps near my head or in the same room, sometimes she will nudge your arm for pets, then settles down again. She does get the zoomies and it is hilarious to watch. Also, watch if you leave your water glass out, she will stick her paw in and then give it a lick! Luna will need to be the only pet in the household. When Luna does not want you to do something or does not want to do something herself, you will know. She hates the carrier, hates being brushed on her lower sides and legs, and hates getting her nails trimmed. She will let you know her frustration with that swishy tail and a swat.  She is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and treated to prevent fleas.

Story
DC is 15 years old. He loves attention, the outdoors, and is easy going. He has become quite the talker the older he has gotten. He is declawed so I only let him outside for short periods of time. He does have medical issues because he is older. He has had a heart murmur for the last year but the vet is just keeping track of it. 3 months ago he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was taking meds twice daily. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old. He isn’t getting the love he deserves which is why I am rehoming him.
