Meet Tipper and Rosie, a bonded pair of senior sisters who are ready to spend their golden years being loved and spoiled. These two came to us in rough shape, but with care, good food, and lots of affection, they’ve been mending beautifully and their sweet personalities are shining through. They are gentle, affectionate girls who just want a quiet home where they can relax and enjoy the good life. They will need some medical support for the remainder of their life but they`re angels for their medication (we expect nothing less from them). They will need to be established with a regular vet as soon as possible in their new home. Tipper and Rosie love to nap side by side, soak up attention from their people, and of course, indulge in plenty of tasty wet food. They’re truly the perfect pair for someone looking for calm, loving companions. These lifelong littermates are bonded and must be adopted together — they find comfort in each other’s company and are happiest when they’re together. If you’re looking to give two deserving senior cats a soft place to land, Tipper and Rosie are ready to fill your home with love.

Nilly is a quiet, reserved girl who’s still learning that people can be kind and gentle. She came to MHS after not getting along with other cats in her previous home, and while she’s still quite shy and undersocialized, we believe there’s potential for her to slowly come out of her shell with the right person. Nilly will likely always be more of an independent “spirit cat” — one who enjoys her space and may show love in subtle, quiet ways.She’ll need a calm, patient home with no other cats (though a respectful, cat-savvy dog may be okay) and older kids who understand boundaries. Starting her off in a small, quiet room with cozy hiding spots will help her feel safe as she adjusts. Nilly has had a tough start, but with kindness, consistency, and time, she just might surprise you with how much she opens up — one gentle pawstep at a time.

Parker was trapped on a local property as a feral cat, and despite our best efforts to befriend him, he has made it clear he prefers his independent lifestyle. He’s a true working cat at heart and would be happiest living in a home environment where he can do his job and keep to himself.Parker is FIV-positive, so he’ll need to be checked on a bit more regularly than the average barn/spirit cat—mainly to ensure he isn’t developing a URI or getting into fights with other outdoor cats. FIV is spread only through deep bites, and while it can shorten lifespans in some barn cats, many live long, comfortable lives, especially with occasional monitoring as they age.What Parker lacks in fondness for people, he makes up for in work ethic. He’s a dedicated pest-controller who only asks for consistent dry food, fresh water, and a safe working place to call home in return for his hard day’s work.
