Story
Tula has been my companion since she was adopted from the SPCA as a kitten, and is currently 5yrs old, soon to be 6 in March. She has pretty green eyes, not yellow. As most cats, she can be aloof and not always social. She prefers not to be picked up, but will jump up on my lap when she wants, or up into her cat tree to hang out there. Her favorite toys are a small furry mouse, a plastic coil and a soft fuzzy ball with sparkly hair. From time to time she will play fetch with her coil. She brings it to me, it gets tossed and she runs to get it and brings it back to do all over again. Cat nip is good for about two minutes. She is good about using her scratch boxes and has not scratched the furniture. Of late, I have been traveling more and for longer periods of time. The thought of her spending so much time alone or in a cage when boarded weighs heavily. My hope is that she will find a companion who is around more often, but also understands cat aloofness.

Story
Adoption fee waived! Hello, my name is Smoochie and I am a part of the SPCA's Shadow Cat program. Being a shadow cat, I am trying to learn how to live life with humans. I have spent most of my life without the loving touch of caring people, and although I am beginning to realize people mean good things, it is still going to take me an extended amount of time to adjust to human companionship. I may not be the cat that climbs into your lap and purrs as you watch tv, but I can be the cat that keeps you company from a distance. If you have a calm adult-only home without a lot of activity or dogs, I could be the friend for you! For an adoption application please see https://yourspca.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Fillable-Adoption-Application-April-2022.docx. If you would like to learn more about me, please call 875-7360 x269.Smoochie has been doing great in a foster home, and is now ready for her forever home! Straight from her foster mom:"Smoochie is doing very well. She likes getting pet and plays with toys more. When we're sitting she comes up to us, at meal time she's not scared and will follow me."

Story
Hi there. My name is Willie Winkle, but my friends just call me Willie. I'm a handsome and quiet man with a calm demeanor. I was stressed at the shelter, so now I am in a loving Foster Home to help me gain confidence and trust. I appreciate when someone takes their time to sit down and get to know me. I'll be sure to reward your patience with a lifelong friendship! I'd love to find a mature home with no small children where I can really settle in and come out of my shell. A comfy bed, tasty treats, and some gentle scratches are all I need to be happy. If you have a calm, adult-only home without a lot of activity or dogs, I could be the friend for you! I'm Sparky, a young and handsome cat that looks like a living work of art ! I have the most interesting markings - you won't be able to take your eyes off of me . Once I have lots of time to get comfortable and adjust to new situations you will see what a fun guy I am . I love to play with toys- especially crinkle balls . Lots of pets and cuddles will have me purring with delight. It might take a little time to get to know me , but I promise it will be worth it to have a lifelong friend like me .

I'm Orchard and I am longing to be the apple of your eye . I'm a shy guy that really needs someone special to love me . Someone that will give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable , and if you have another cat that would be very helpful for me also. Once I have time to adjust I know we will be best friends forever - but for now maybe we can just start with a little playtime with the magic wand - I've gotten really good at catching it ! ...oh, and if your into super cute toe beans - I've got a bunch !
