Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Desiree is a gorgeous tabby with soft rosettes. She has had a rough go with life and was brought in after it was known that she was pregnant. She has had her kittens and they all have gone to a loving home. Desi is a great kitty, she gets along with the other kitties and dogs in her foster home. She is more of a loner and lets others know if she wants to be left alone. She loves to sleep next to her foster mom's head at bed time. Desiree is a sassy girl that has seizures. She is on medication for her seizures and the cost is less than $10 a month for her medication.  She loves her foster mom and is not shy. She likes when you pet her but isn't afraid to let you know when she has had enough.  She is super sweet and just loves to be pet.  She stresses out in a carrier and needs to be transported to vets or wherever she is going in a small wire dog crate.  Enclosed does not work for this girl.   **Please note we do not adopt to Canada due to border issues and breed specific legislation.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sweet Harley came to us as a surrender when his owner passed. He was an indoor/outdoor cat but is now perfectly happy indoors 100% of the time. He's approximately 18 years old. He does have hyperthyroidism but is managed by medication twice per day. The medication is in gel form so it is very easy to administrator. His appetite is picky because of his thyroid and age. Having a variety of wet food helps. He does have stomach issues from time to time. He uses litter box and has never had an accident. Harley loves cat nip! It's his favorite thing in the world! The laser pointer is his other favorite activity. He loves to sleep near you all day. He also loves sleeping in the dog's bed and boxes. He does like to be picked up and snuggled but for only a few minutes. He's very easy going and is looking for a quiet retirement home. He does well with dogs. Unknown about other cats. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Perry is about 10 and started life as an outdoor cat. He was taken in by the neighbor and lived as an indoor/outdoor cat for about 6 years until he was surrendered to us. He has a heart murmur but it isn't affecting interfering with life. Perry is very affectionate and loves to get attention. He is a laid back cat who loves attention. He's living with his foster family's cat and dog. He is most comfortable in his room, but has only been in the family for a few weeks. Immediately after arriving his affectionate side started showing. Perry loves to be brushed and scratched behind the ears. Perry will give you lots of love and has the cutest squeaky meow. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Zena is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and combo tested negative. S She loves to roll on her back for you to pet her belly. She prefers to extend the invitation for it rather than you ask her. She's not a fan of large dogs and will happily give them a swat right in the face. Her coo when she wants cats to come play with her is absolutely adorable. Zena likes to come to you and will run if you try to just grab her from the floor. But she sure does love her temptations. She will chirp, coo, get happy paws if she thinks you might give her some num nums. She will also make the most adorable vocalizations when she sees you and is inviting you to pet her. She enjoys being brushed with the furminator. With time, patience and lots of treats, I bet you'll be able to grab her off the floor once you build that trust. She doesn't like a lot of commotion and loves to lounge in a sunny window. She's very playful and loves her crinkle mat, toys and catnip pillow. Zena has idiopathic cystitis. The stress of a many pet household like you find with those who foster can be a bit much for her. It is treated with Hill's c/d diet and generic Prozac which is very inexpensive.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Mew is a very shy, timid girl. She will most likely hide for a while so it’s best if she is with our male cat Buddy. They are not super bonded but they have lived together all their lives. They would be best in a quieter home with no kids. Mew is used to dogs not kids. Once she comes out of her shell Mew is very loving and likes to be with her people. Also she had a very loud purr!! She is overweight we have been working on getting a few pounds off.
