Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
Smoothie was originally brought into the vet with severe neurological issues (she couldn’t walk straight or look at you without wobbling and appeared very dizzy) but after a round of antibiotics she is a (mostly) normal kitten! She runs and plays and is completely healthy (just a bit clumsy). She is incredibly sweet and will let you hold her as long as you want, loves to play, and is very talkative. Due to her medical history she needs to be a strictly indoor cat!

Story
Valerie is 2 - 3 years old; we are not sure. She was found outside in a cat colony where a rescue group was feeding. But Valerie was very tame and affectionate. Her foster family describes her as the sweetest, most loving cat. She loves to be picked up and rubs her head against your neck. She is living with other cats in her foster home and would probably prefer a more calm environment. She wants all of the attention from her humans. She did test positive for feline FIV but negative for leukemia. She can live as long as cats which do not have the disease (please check online), cannot spread to to other pets unless there is a deep bite (not spread through grooming, sharing food, water or litter boxes) and cannot spread to humans.

Story
Butterscotch is a big orange male cat who was found as a stray. A local homeowner was feeding him but he was looking ragged. So he went to the vet and was treated for an upper respiratory condition. He has also been neutered and received his vaccines. He is a playful and sweet boy (like most orange male cats) and is enjoying feeling better and eating regularly. He would love to be your indoor cat. The homeowner would keep him but his other cat is very territorial and doesn't want a housemate.

Story
GiGi is approximately 3 years old and weighs about 12 lbs. She does well with dogs and other cats. She loves to be petted and will sleep with her foster family if allowed to. She doesn't like to be picked up but will sit on the couch with you and allow you to pet her for hours. She would fit into any household if it is not too rowdy. Her eyes are either green or golden depending upon the light. She is not spayed yet, but has an appointment.

Story
Timothy was a stray and was not in good shape when he was rescued. Now he is inside and loves it. He has eaten himself to a healthy weight of 7.5 lbs and has all of his vet services. He is very affectionate with his foster family. He loves to snuggle up and get petted around his head and ears. He shows you how happy he is by head-butting your hand. He rides well in a carrier, never misses his litter box, is not bothered by other cats. He will be a wonderful pet for any family. He is estimated to be a little over 2 years old.

Story
Introducing Jelly and Toast, the 6 month old dynamic duo who are the epitome of brotherly love! These inseparable siblings are always by each other's side, whether they're lounging in a cozy spot or embarking on a playful adventure. They are experts at relaxation, but when it's playtime, they are full of energy and enthusiasm. Like most cats, they might need a little time to adjust to a new environment. They get along well with other cats. They can be adopted together or separately, but will never be bored or lonely if they can stay together. Two kittens is always better than one, and not much more responsibility. For more information or an adoption application, contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com
