Story
In her sharp, black and white tuxedo coat, this kitten is not just a pet but a lively and engaging member of the family. She is a natural conversationalist, greeting her people and other feline companions with an impressive vocabulary of chirps, meows, and trills that express everything from a demand for dinner to a simple, friendly hello. Possessing a boundless energy for play, she is a streak of monochrome lightning, chasing toys with wild abandon and orchestrating games of chase with her housemates. Far from being reserved, she is a social butterfly, charming every person she meets with her affectionate head-butts and confident purrs, and she is always eager to be at the center of the action. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Story
Lodar is not a cat you find; he is a cat who finds you. With a name that echoes something ancient and strong, he carries himself with a quiet authority that belies his domestic life. He is a sleek, black cat of considerable size, with a coat so profoundly black it seems to absorb not just light, but sound as well. When he pads across the room, it's as if a hush follows in his wake, his movements silent and deliberate. His eyes are his most striking feature—they are not green or golden, but a deep, clear amber, like solidified sunlight. They watch everything with an intense, knowing gaze.To know Lodar is to know a deep, quiet love. He is the guardian of the household, the keeper of secrets, and a constant, beautiful, black shadow who makes a home feel safe, watched over, and truly loved. He is a king in his own right, not of a vast kingdom, but of a quiet, sun-dappled living room, and his subjects wouldn't have it any other way.Lodar is ready for his forever home!If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Story
No one knows how he got the name Flogg. Perhaps it was the way his tiny, wobbly body moved with a clumsy, determined flap, or maybe it was an old joke that stuck. Whatever its origin, the name was as outsized as his personality, a bold, confident title for a creature that barely weighed a pound.Flogg arrived as a tiny storm cloud, all paws and pointy ears. His fur was a deep, rich black, so dark it seemed to pull in all the light around him, but his eyes were pure gold, two luminous coins set against a velvet sky. He was a brave, if slightly bumbling, explorer of his new world. A kitchen cupboard was a treacherous cave to be conquered. A stray shoelace was a dragon to be slain. He would charge at the vacuum cleaner, all puffed-up bravado, only to skitter away when it roared to life. But for all his feigned fierceness, Flogg's true nature was pure kitten sweetness. His purr is a tiny engine of contentment that only truly switched on when he is being held, his body molding into a warm, trusting loaf against a human chest. He has a habit of "making biscuits" on the softest blankets, his tiny claws kneading away, lost in a dream of comfort. His favorite game is a gentle wrestling match with a favorite toy mouse, which would inevitably end with him snuggling up to the toy for a nap.As he grows, Flogg's playful and affectionate nature only deepens. He will wait by the door for his friends and handlers to return to the room, greeting them with a trilling meow and an acrobatic leap into their arms. He has become the shelters little black shadow, a constant and loyal companion who traded his fearsome name for endless cuddles and mischievous fun. And though he has grown from a tiny storm cloud into a majestic, sleek panther, his name, Flogg, always in our minds as a funny and affectionate reminder of the small, bold kitten who captured our hearts. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Story
Optikk is a small, black kitten with a big name and an even bigger personality. He is a bundle of pure, unadulterated chaos and charm, a tiny shadow with two bright, gold-flecked eyes that reflect his perpetually surprised and delighted view of the world. His humor is physical and slapstick, his lovable nature is expressed through his deep, rumbling purr, and his courage is an absolute, unshakable belief in his own invincibility. He is a blur of motion, a streak of midnight tearing across the floor in pursuit of a laser pointer or a crinkle toy, and an affectionate cuddle bug who fills a home with laughter and warmth. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!
