Babe Ruth is looking for a home! This cuddly chatterbox is headed to the vet on monday for his neuter, and will be available for adoption directly after. He doesn't seem to enjoy other cats much, but may tolerate a non-confrontational feline housemate better than the loud, needy kittens at the shelter. He may also become more patient after his vet visit 👀✂ Babe Ruth LOVES humans, especially if you're willing to rub his cheeks. He's very friendly, and talks up a storm to staff here at the shelter. He would be alright with children who understand no one likes having their tail grabbed. He's BIG, loving, silly, full of character, the very best mixture of laid back and playful, patient, great with all people, other cats and dogs too! He's been a comforter and playmate to many foster cats and kittens that have come through his foster home. 💚St. Patrick has been with us since March 2022 and has *almost* found his forever home a handful of times. Everyone say a big "Hello" to Bruno (who might have been Batman in a former life). Bruno is a two month old black and white male kitten who is all about the love. This sweet boy was discovered running across the road in front of an All Paws adopter's house. Bruno was hungry with no mom in sight so this amazing former adopter brought him in and has been lovingly fostering him. Bruno is now ready to go out into the world and to find his forever family.Bruno is incredibly sweet and very playful. He particularly loves balls with bells and toys that mimic hunting behaviors. Bruno has been introduced to his foster mom's cats and dogs and does not appear fearful of them. He should be fine in a home with other pets, as long as very slow and careful introductions are made. Drax is ready for adoption!As you might guess from looking at him, Drax hasn't always had the easiest of lives. While we don't know how his life started, we do know the last few years have been spent fending for himself. He first caught the eye of a cat lover 2 years ago during an awful snow storm that sent the temperature plummeting to well below zero, not to mention the wind chill. She set a food station out for him and any other unfortunate kitties who might be braving the weather on their own. Regardless of the free meals, he had zero trust for her or any other humans. He was in rough shape with unkempt fur and an injury to his eye. Once the weather broke and he had been enjoying free meals for a few weeks, his condition improved some and he was TNR'd. Drax continued to show up for free meals, here and there, over the next few years. He would dart away when he saw the humans and then slink over to the food when they were out of sight again.Then one day when he showed up to eat, and didn't run! He sat on the porch, patiently waiting for the bowl to be filled, watched her walk inside and trotted right over to the dish. After that, he started talking the humans, likely to tell them to hurry up with the food. 😹 Soon after he was trapped again in the hope that he might truly be as friendly as he was starting to indicate to his caretaker. Sure enough, with a little time to adjust, Drax started accepting all the lovins while making some impressing kitty bread, purring and sometimes drooling. If you've met a kitty drooler, you know that's a big sign they're happy. 🤤💕From there, Drax was able to have his bum eye removed and get all ready for adoption! He's healed up well and is now ready for a very special home. Drax is looking for a cat savvy home where he'll be allowed time and space to feel safe in his new environment. Drax accepts bribes of tasty snacks and canned food. He would do well with other pets who aren't overbearing.
