Story
"Well hello there, I am Valerie but my friend sometimes call me Val. I have been with KLAWS since November 2021 and boy have I blossomed since arriving. I have an estimated date of birth of June 19, 2017. My foster home has helped me become the best kitty ever, however I would love ❤️ to find my forever home. I have both cat and dog friends so I could get along with either, as long as we have proper introductions. I love to sleep near my people and have one of the loudest purrs so I can catch your attention. I love to be social and eat my meals with everyone else in the kitchen. I do also know the sound of the treat jar but my foster is cheap and will only give me a couple. She says I need to watch my figure." Valerie will need to remain on her current Hills Prescription Diet C/D Multicare Stress, both wet and dry, as she has previously had sporadic bouts of hematuria due to stress. Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. We have added in a variety of wet foods to give her more options. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions. Her forever home and family should be a calmer and quiet environment. Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home. Please send an email to 4klaws@gmail.com if you have any questions or are ready to welcome Valerie into your furever family. Adoption Fee: $200 (includes deworm, deflea, vaccinations, microchip, spay) To help us find Valerie a purrfect family, please care and share #4klaws #4klawskitties #4klawsfosters #adoptdontshop #spayneuter #rescuesareworthit *All KLAWS kitties are required, by signed contract, to be indoor only and not declawed. "Hi there, Oliver the Bengal cross here, hoping to find my furever home!! I have an estimated date of birth of January 27, 2022 and originally came to KLAWS in October 2022. I love to run and play. One of my favourite things to do is chase the toys in the bathtub. I love food and treats. I have been known to get into human food but have been trying to be on my best behaviour. I do love to have all your snuggles and attention to myself so probably best to be the only kitty in the home." Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home. Story
Kit is a beautiful 11 year old cat who was surrendered. She was very nervous about being in a new environment but she's settled down and is very sweet. She's still a little shy of new people but she's definitely looking for love. She would do best in a quiet, laidback home where she can feel comfortable and safe. She's healthy and has lots of life left. If you're interested in adding a sweet older lady to your home please consider adopting Kit. Please call 705 878 4618 ex 0

"Hello my friends, I am Carter. My estimated birthday of April 7th, 2023 has come and gone, and I am still searching for the purrfect forever home! I came to KLAWS in July 2023. I love to play with all my favourite toys such as springs, balls, furry mice and anything else I might find interesting. Running and playing with all my furry foster friends is fun. However, I always seek to need a cat nap afterward. I would love to have a furry friend in my forever home to keep me company when the humans are away." "Tiggs here again, on the hunt for my furever home!! I came to KLAWS in July 2023 with and estimated date of birth of April 7th, 2023. Springs and balls are great to chase around the house. Chasing and being chased by my furry foster friends is a great time too!! Once all played out, it is time to snuggle up for a much needed rest to recharge for the next game. Story
Harriet Female spayed 4 years old brown tabby Harriet has settled into her new foster home after living in a pet store for the last couple of years. Harriett was stressed in the store from barking dogs and young kids. She loves attention and will bring you her toys to interact with you so you will throw them for her to go get. She will walk in front of you and roll over for some much deserved belly rubs. She also rubs against your hands and legs for some petting. She will play with toys as long as you are playing also. You will find Harriett wherever there are people as she wants attention and will chat with you to let you know. She is a confident independent kitty who will inspect things around the house. She has good manners around food although she likes to try and steal your milk. At night you will find her sleeping with you on your feet or pressed against your legs or tummy. She always wants to be with someone all the time. This kitty wishes to find a home where she can be spoiled rotten and have your undivided attention. My reactions to: Dogs - I do not like dogs Children- They use to tease me when they came into the store so I do not want to live with children Meeting New People - While I lived at the pet store, I would greet all the customers at the cash and liked it when they pet me

Story
Mabel is a sweet and lovely spunky kitten. She was born August 23/23 and is bonded with her sister Dixie. It took us awhile to find a suitable foster for these two sweeties but they are now starting to soar in a quiet household with some house cats. Mable is extra cautious around loud noises and sounds and an adult only home is probable where she will be happiest. Mable will sleep on the bed at night with you and all the other cats but prefers the bottom of the bed. Her safe space is under the bed but will soon come out to see what the fuss is about. For some reason she loves to want belly rubs when you are in the middle of cleaning the litter box. Mabel and her sister Dixie love to chase each other around the house and wrestle. Her favourite toy is the ball tower. Mabel will sit beside you for pets while her sister likes to sit in your lap. Each morning their foster mom picks them up for some quick good morning kisses. Would you welcome these two sweethearts into your home and love them forever?

Story
Dixie is a sweet loving cat. She is bonded with her sister Mabel. They were born Aug.23/23. Dixie is very food motivated especially treats and this is the way to earn her trust. Once trust is earned, she is very loving and loves to snuggle on your lap for pets. She gets along with the other cats in the house and loves Leo one of the house cats. At night, all the cats will sleep together on the bed but Dixie waits until you are almost asleep and then wants scratches and pets. Loud noises and sound scare her and she will run under the dining room table for a safe space. She is the braver one of the two and Mabel will follow her These girls are not very vocal and have a quiet meow. They favourite toy is the ball tower. They love to chase each other around the house and wrestle. Each morning their foster mom picks them up for some quick kisses. These girls will do best in an adult only quiet home to continue to thrive. Would you be the one to open your home and hearts for these two sweethearts?
