Story
"Well hello there, I am Valerie but my friend sometimes call me Val. I have been with KLAWS since November 2021 and boy have I blossomed since arriving. I have an estimated date of birth of June 19, 2017. My foster home has helped me become the best kitty ever, however I would love ❤️ to find my forever home. I have both cat and dog friends so I could get along with either, as long as we have proper introductions. I love to sleep near my people and have one of the loudest purrs so I can catch your attention. I love to be social and eat my meals with everyone else in the kitchen. I do also know the sound of the treat jar but my foster is cheap and will only give me a couple. She says I need to watch my figure." Valerie will need to remain on her current Hills Prescription Diet C/D Multicare Stress, both wet and dry, as she has previously had sporadic bouts of hematuria due to stress. Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. We have added in a variety of wet foods to give her more options. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions. Her forever home and family should be a calmer and quiet environment. Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home. Please send an email to 4klaws@gmail.com if you have any questions or are ready to welcome Valerie into your furever family. Adoption Fee: $200 (includes deworm, deflea, vaccinations, microchip, spay) To help us find Valerie a purrfect family, please care and share #4klaws #4klawskitties #4klawsfosters #adoptdontshop #spayneuter #rescuesareworthit *All KLAWS kitties are required, by signed contract, to be indoor only and not declawed. Story
"Hello my friends, let me introduce myself, I am Lenny. My birthday is coming soon (estimated April 14, 2014), and I will be 10 years young. I was surrendered to KLAWS in April 2022 due to no fault of my own, and I have been hanging out with my fosters ever since. I am soooo ready to find my forever home!! I love lounging in the sun and sleeping away the day with my foster dog friends. I love attention, belly rubs, and sometimes I might even say hello. I would enjoy a furry friend in my forever home to keep me company when the humans are away. The vet says I will need to remain on my special urinary diet for life. I eat Royal Canin Multi Function Urinary + Calm for dry and Hill's Prescription Diet Urinary Care c/d Multi Care for wet." Story
"Hi friends, I am Oliver, a calm and cool Bengal cross with an estimated date of birth of January 27, 2022. I love to play with toys in the tub. Springs, balls, furry mice are all fun in my books. Running around and playing can sure work up an appetite. I have been known to get into human food, however I am working on being a good boy and listening. I originally came to KLAWS in October 2022. I found my forever home with one of my original foster siblings and another kitty already in the home. Unfortunately, the original kitty and I didn't get along, and I found my way back to KLAWS in November 2023. I would need to be the only kitty in the home as I would really love to keep all the attention and snuggles to myself." Kit is a beautiful 11 year old cat who was surrendered. She was very nervous about being in a new environment but she's settled down and is very sweet. She's still a little shy of new people but she's definitely looking for love. She would do best in a quiet, laidback home where she can feel comfortable and safe. She's healthy and has lots of life left. If you're interested in adding a sweet older lady to your home please consider adopting Kit. Please call 705 878 4618 ex 0

Aug10/23:‼️LOOKING FOR NEW FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT WHO CAN SPEND MORE TIME WITH THIS GORGEOUS GAL‼️ "Hello again!! For those of you that don't know me, I am Zuhmara or Z for short. I came to KLAWS in November 2021 with and estimated date of birth of November 27, 2019. I have come a long way since arriving at my foster home and would love to find my forever home!! ♥️ I have started to sit on my fosters lap so I can get the attention I want. If I find I am not getting enough, I will sit on my hind legs and paw at you for some love. I am smitten with my foster dog siblings. I love having them around. However, I do not enjoy the company of other cats. I would be best suited for a quieter, more calm home so that I can get all the attention I deserve." Story
"Happy New Year to all my friends!! I am Carter and I came to KLAWS in July 2023 with an estimated date of birth of April 7, 2023. Hanging out with my foster friends is great, however I would love to find my forever home. We chase each other all over the house, playing with furry mice, balls, springs or any other toys we can find. Catnaps throughout the day are necessary to be able to keep playing and running. Having a furry friend in my forever home would be great to keep each other company while the humans are away." KLAWS suggests that kittens go in pairs, or at least a home with friendly fur friends (dogs or cats), they can bond with when the humans are away. Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home. Story
Misty, a DSH female brown Tabby, was rescued by GFCC with her family. She was born on April 13, 2023, and now lives in a foster home with 3 foster feline brothers and a small senior family dog. Hi, my name is Misty, and I'm a beautiful, playful cat who loves to play with string toys, chase laser lights, and bounce around with spring toys. I'm a bit shy, so I would do best in a quiet home with older children who will give me the attention and love I deserve and a feline who wouldn't mind if I tag along... I love to follow my foster brothers around the house and see what adventures they're up to, and I always make sure to be the first one at my food bowl when it's time to eat. I'm a bit particular about my water, and I like to drink it by dipping my paw into the water bowl and then licking my paw. I love chin and head scratches from my foster mom ... I love to sit on the tree house with my foster brothers and watch the squirrels and birds in the garden, and when it's time to rest, I love to nap on the bed or under the bed, where it's nice and cozy. Once I am awake I look for my foster brothers to see what adventures they're up too. If you , your family and your feline friend don't mind having me around, I would be thrilled to become a part of your family and share in the joy and love that comes with it.

Story
Harriet Female spayed 4 years old brown tabby Harriet has settled into her new foster home after living in a pet store for the last couple of years. Harriett was stressed in the store from barking dogs and young kids. She loves attention and will bring you her toys to interact with you so you will throw them for her to go get. She will walk in front of you and roll over for some much deserved belly rubs. She also rubs against your hands and legs for some petting. She will play with toys as long as you are playing also. You will find Harriett wherever there are people as she wants attention and will chat with you to let you know. She is a confident independent kitty who will inspect things around the house. She has good manners around food although she likes to try and steal your milk. At night you will find her sleeping with you on your feet or pressed against your legs or tummy. She always wants to be with someone all the time. This kitty wishes to find a home where she can be spoiled rotten and have your undivided attention. My reactions to: Dogs - I do not like dogs Children- They use to tease me when they came into the store so I do not want to live with children Meeting New People - While I lived at the pet store, I would greet all the customers at the cash and liked it when they pet me

Sheldon is a hilarious cat. He will often bring toys to play fetch with. He loves to play with a dragging toy, especially if it has a feather at the end. He likes ouncing on grocery bags. He has a great meow. He would be okay in a quiet house as an only cat or in a busy house with other pets. He has been socialized with other cats, dogs and guinea pigs. He is very good with our daughter as well. He doesn't like being picked up but will hang out happily until you put him down. Our 17 years old cat, Maynard and Sheldon get along very well with each other. Sheldon is a very handsome kitty! He has a beautiful grey coat with stripes and dark spots (like a wild cat's coat). He has one white sport center of his neck like a bowtie. Beautiful eyes as well. He's a good boy.

Mabel is a sweet and lovely spunky kitten. She was born August 23/23 and is bonded with her sister Dixie. It took us awhile to find a suitable foster for these two sweeties but they are now starting to soar in a quiet household with some house cats. Mable is extra cautious around loud noises and sounds and an adult only home is probable where she will be happiest. Mable will sleep on the bed at night with you and all the other cats but prefers the bottom of the bed. Her safe space is under the bed but will soon come out to see what the fuss is about. For some reason she loves to want belly rubs when you are in the middle of cleaning the litter box. Mabel and her sister Dixie love to chase each other around the house and wrestle. Her favourite toy is the ball tower. Mabel will sit beside you for pets while her sister likes to sit in your lap. Each morning their foster mom picks them up for some quick good morning kisses. Would you welcome these two sweethearts into your home and love them forever?

Dixie is a sweet loving cat. She is bonded with her sister Mabel. They were born Aug.23/23. Dixie is very food motivated especially treats and this is the way to earn her trust. Once trust is earned, she is very loving and loves to snuggle on your lap for pets. She gets along with the other cats in the house and loves Leo one of the house cats. At night, all the cats will sleep together on the bed but Dixie waits until you are almost asleep and then wants scratches and pets. Loud noises and sound scare her and she will run under the dining room table for a safe space. She is the braver one of the two and Mabel will follow her These girls are not very vocal and have a quiet meow. They favourite toy is the ball tower. They love to chase each other around the house and wrestle. Each morning their foster mom picks them up for some quick kisses. These girls will do best in an adult only quiet home to continue to thrive. Would you be the one to open your home and hearts for these two sweethearts?

My name is Catcher Female spayed DOB January 20, 2024 Grey Polydactyl Vaccines up to date for Rabies and FVRCP If you look closely you'll see I have extra toes and I think that makes me extra special! I'm called a polydactyl cat and long ago sailors believed I brought good luck. I love to play with my brother Slider and my older foster brothers. I am active and zoom around and love playing with wand toys. I love to sit on my foster moms lap on the couch and cuddle up to her at night when she's sleeping. I carry my toys around in my mouth and like to keep them safe in my bed. I come when my moms calls me for a kitty tube treat and make the cutest little trill noises when I'm happy. I love the cat tree and climbing up to the top to look out the window. My reactions to: Cats: I live with two other foster brothers who I love to play and sleep with. Dogs: I have not been exposed to dogs but kittens like me adapt quickly Children: Although I have not been exposed to children I can adapt Meeting New People: The way to win me over is tube treats.
