Story
Meet Ginger! This poor gal has had a tumultuous life - she came to TCR front declawed and with an ear tip. She was surrendered by her first owner, then returned by her second... and she's only about three years old. Ginger is a loving girl who wants nothing more than *just the right amount* of attention. She is talkative and expressive - she will let you know when she is lonely or craving attention! But she also prefers to have her space at times and can sometimes get overstimulated with petting. She can sometimes swat or use her mouth to tell her people when she's had enough. We think that Ginger would do best in a home where her adopters are willing to be patient with her and provide affection, but not push her boundaries. Small children are not likely to be a good fit for her as they may not be able to pick up on the signs and signals of overstimulation in cats. Ginger does not seem to prefer other cats and likely wishes to be the only kitty in the home. She is not currently being fostered with a dog, but briefly met one and seemed relatively unphased. She may be able to live with a calm pup, with proper introductions. Ginger is estimated to be about 5 years old. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Do you have a loving, patient home for Ginger? Please apply today!

Story
Yeah Yeah is ready his FOR-EV-ER home! Yeah Yeah came to us with his three siblings: Benny, Merlin, and Squints. Yeah Yeah was one of the shyer siblings at first, but once he warmed up, he couldn't get enough love! Yeah Yeah still has a lot of spunky kitten energy and loves to play with a variety of toys, such as a laser pointer, jingly balls, string toys, crinkly toys. Yeah Yeah would love to go home with one of his brothers, Squints or Benny, who are just as loving. Yeah Yeah doesn't love being picked up but he enjoys rubbing all over you and trying to hop in your lap. Once he's comfy, he is a big purr machine and loves pets! Yeah Yeah may do ok in a home with dogs with proper introductions. He is sweet enough to be with kiddos of all ages, but he would do best with a slower introduction with them. Yeah Yeah absolutely loves food (especially wet food!) and is a solid boy! Yeah Yeah is about 1.5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Yeah Yeah has a little bit of a leaky eye as you may see, but it does not bother him or cause any issues. Yeah Yeah has also had a little bout of Ringworm, which he has been successfully treated for. His three littermates - Benny, Merlin, and Squints, have all been treated (or are currently being treated for) FIP, so we would encourage any interested adopters to research the disease as there can be a genetic component.

Story
Are you looking for two crazy kitties who are FULL of personality and sure to keep you entertained? Look no further than Lenny (previously known as Lil' White)... and his best friend, Merlin (previously Smalls)! Lenny and Merlin aren't littermates, but they became besties when they were both being treated for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) together at the same time! These boys love to do everything together and each of them will cry out for the other when they aren't sure where their "second half has gone. Lenny is a very friendly, affectionate cat. One look at him and he will start to PURR, PURR, PURR! He loves to make biscuits all over you! Lenny can be a bit nervous of new things at first - and we can't blame him after all he's been through - but he adjusts pretty quickly. Lenny and Merlin would appreciate adopters who can go slow with them at first, but who are also up for lots of fun and activity once they are settled in! These boys love to explore and wrestle, and they can make anything into a toy. We think they'd be fine in a variety of homes, including one with older, cat-savvy kiddos. Lenny is about 1.5 years old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. He was successfully treated for FIP and ringworm while in our care. Although a reinfection with FIP would be considered rare, we would still recommend that any interested adopters educate themselves on this disease and what signs/symptoms to look out for. Story
McFly is a guy who knows what he likes. He follows a very particular routine. He's the first one awake every morning to make sure he gets his cuddle time. He's a vocal little fellow with alot to say (mostly demanding pets and treats). However, once you start your day, he prefers to find a spot in the house with peace and quiet until things settle down again in the evening. He loves his foster siblings but likes his alone time too. He has the cutest smoke tabby pattern on his chest and stomach which makes him stand out from his brother, Dracula. Since McFly is a little more reserved, we think he'd prefer a home without small kiddos. He has not met a dog. Originally, we suggested he go home with an outgoing cat buddy, but as he's gotten older, we think being the only cat in the house may help him come out of his shell a little more. That being said, he does great with his foster siblings so being an only cat isn't a requirement. He would do best with a patient family who can start him off in one small room and go slow with him as he adjusts. McFly is about a year old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Are you looking for a sweet and gentle cat who's the perfect balance of independent and cuddle bug? Adopt McFly!

Story
Michael came to TCR in June 2023 after his owner suddenly passed away, and family was unable to care for him. Michael was previously an outdoor cat that his former owner was able to bring into the home and socialize. He is estimated to about 10 years of age, and is a BIG boy. Michael is a playful cat. He loves playing with a laser pointer, wands, and balls. He also loves any scratching posts, especially ones sprinkled with catnip. Hands down, catnip and being brushed are his favorite thing in the world (besides wet food). Michael is always waiting at the door for someone to engage with him, and he will bypass his daily wet food to nudge you and ask for attention. Michael can sometimes get easily overstimulated after a few minutes being petted. He will either walk away to lounge nearby, or he may give a casual nip to signal he is done. For this reason, we feel that a home with small children is not likely to be appropriate for him, as small kids are not likely to understand the signs of overstimulation in cats. Michael has struggled with meeting other kitties in foster and may prefer to be the only cat in the home to live out his golden years. He would do best in a home where his adopters can monitor his diet and strive for him to reach a healthy weight. Michael is estimated to be about 10 years old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for Michael today!

Story
Meet Lemur! Long and lanky like a.... well... Lemur, this little lady is ready to find her home! Lemur was recently brought to TCR after we were contacted for help with a hoarding situation of over 50 cats. Lemur is the first of these kitties to be made available for adoption, but the rest will soon follow! Lemur may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she can't get enough of being petted! She will head butt you constantly and roll all over. Once she trusts you, she is easy to handle and is OK with being picked up if needed. Since this little gal is used to living with lots of other kitties, we think that she would enjoy having another cat (or two?) in her forever home... so why not adopt her with one of her friends? We think she would do just fine with respectful kiddos, and she may even be able to live with a calm dog, although she hasn't met one yet in foster. Lemur is estimated to be about two years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for this purry sweetheart today!
