Located in Pittsburgh 15202. ## **Ritual: Youll Want to Make Her a Daily Habit ** **Age:** Young adult **Special Skills:** Weaponized cuteness, professional leg-rubbing **Ideal Realm:** A kingdom where she is the *only* feline ruler Some rituals involve candles and chanting, but *this* Ritual just involves you sitting still while she aggressively loves you. Ritual is the sweetest little girl you will ever meet, and she knows it. She has a highly calculated routine: walk around your legs, look up at you with huge eyes, and try to look as cute as physically possible 24/7. It works every single time. There is just one catch to her magicshe demands a monopoly on the cat crown. Ritual is **not** a fan of other cats. She wants to be your one and only feline diva. **The Ritual Requirements:** * **No Other Cats:** Seriously, she will not share her spotlight with another kitty. * **Dogs? Sure!:** Shes totally fine sharing the couch with a dog companion. * **Kid-Approved:** Excellent with children! She views them as extra hands for petting and worship. If youre ready to start a daily ritual of endless purrs, leg rubs, and giving in to absolute cuteness, this is the girl for you. *Ready to worship at the altar of Ritual? If you are interested in meeting any of the cats, please email SOS at saveourstrays.pgh@gmail.com or call/text (best option) Faon @ (412) 863-0064 to arrange your visit. Your new best friend is waiting for you. Do you happen to be looking for a Real Estate agent, one of our main volunteers works for Berkshire Hathway. Chelsea donates 10% of her commission back to the rescue, if we help get her a listing. Check our Facebook Save Our Strays if you forget and later want her phone number. She is the "PURFECT Relator" Chelsa Dungan @ 412-297-1606. Help save cats while buying or selling a home. Since 2020, SOS has rescued and adopted more than 1,500 stray cats in the Pittsburgh area. Included in our $225 (going rate/vetting is expensive) adoption fee is full vetting. It will cost you more money to have everything we have already completed for them done. Adopting from us supports S.O.S and our mission to save cats from neglect, abandonment, hoarding or friendly strays stuck living outside. All of our cats are dewormed, have received Capstar for any flea issues and NEXGUARD COMBO for any parasites, received two FVRCP vaccines as well as their rabies vaccine, are treated for ear mites (if needed), are combo tested for FeLV and FIV, and are microchipped which will transfer to you. Once the adult cats are fully vetted and vaccinated, they freely roam across two floors and (Pittsburgh weather permitting...) also spend time in an outside Catio to soak up the sunshine. I will tell you all my same spiel I tell everyone else, if you adopt from us. Do not declaw your cat, if the cat is sick- have enough money to take them to the vet. If you ever need me, call me. We talk to you and ask questions ourselves and we know the cats well. If we think it is not going to work out, we will let you know. Everyone who is able and willing, deserves the companionship of a cat. It's an art that we have purfected here! Most of the cats are in the shelter, all in one place. No, you do not need to bring your entire family and all the pets to your appointment (actually please don't on the pets) We take you around to the different rooms and then you & yours can go and visit where you want too. Seems simple right? Well, it is! Bring your own carrier just encase you do pick a new BFF, we have all of their paperwork. All you have to do is schedule an appointment. During your visit, feel free to spend time with the cat you want to meet, but also take a look around. We always have cats with a wide variety of ages, coat patterns/lengths, and personalities. High energy antics? You bet. Couch potatoes? Check. Sweet, purring snugglers? Roger that. And please don't overlook the shy wallflower who keeps glancing your way, introverts need love too. Often times, a cat is simply overwhelmed with their new rescue environment and will blossom in a calmer home environment. SOS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our adoption fee, along with donations, allow us to tend to our rescued cats in the manner in which they deserve: fully vetted and fully cared for. We also allocate funds to continue TNR (trap, neuter, and release) efforts for all of the strays who are too unsocialized and human-adverse for an indoor home. By spaying/neutering, these cats live a healthier life and no longer contribute to increasing the stray cat population. When you adopt a cat from SOS, you're doing more than giving a cat a good home. You're also helping those stray cats who cannot be homed. One cats adoption improves multiple cats' lives. Hello I'm Princess Mama Peach! I was named Peach originally but I responded to mama so much that we updated the name! I was the momma to a litter and now the litter doesn't need me so I get to find my own home to be spoiled! I love to be petted and follow you around! I love treats and also cardboard boxes! I may miss my kittens for a bit - I loved them but it's my time now!

Hello I'm Princess Sailor! I come from a different rescuer to get a better chance at getting a home! I'm friendly but will be shy at first! I'm very wiggly squiggly but like pets! I think I'm quite beautiful - hope you do too!

Meet Jules! Jules is 2 years old and came to us as a transfer from a partner organization. He is very shy and is still learning to come out of his shell, but loves other cats and may prefer a feline friend in his new home to help with his confidence. Due to his shyness, he may do best in a home with calm older children who will respect his boundaries as he settles in and begins to feel at home. Are you the one for him? Meet Mello! This sweet lady is just like her name suggests, a laid-back, loveable kitty who is ready to find her new home. Mellow is so sweet that she could live with children of all ages, and may be interested in kitty friends. While in our care we did notice that Mello needed a bit of TLC specifically to have a mass removed. While we were hoping this mass would come back as benign - Mello's mass was a Mammary Carcinoma - and was cancerous. But Mello hasn't let this diagnosis get her down and she is ready to find someone who is ready to open their heart and home to a cat that will love you for whatever time she has left! Think sweet Mello could be the kitty for you? Meet Padme! Like a true regal figure who leads with quiet devotion, this sweet one year old kitten came to us as a nursing mother with her kittens, and now she's looking for her own peaceful place to land. Padme is a gentle, reserved soul who takes comfort in the cozy company of other cats, often curling right up alongside a feline friend. While she can be shy with new people, she communicates with soft slow blinks and loves when you bring along treats like Party Mix or a Churu. She gets along great with other cats and would thrive in an adult-only home with a patient family who knows that only patience and understanding will help her confidence bloom. Open your heart up to this quiet girl, and let her bring a little extra magic to your galaxy!
