She can play for hours and then is ready for a good snooze! She will lay with you on her own time but definitely enjoys exploring her surroundings more. She loves pom pom balls and will walk around with them in her mouth. She likes anything can kick and chase.. She also enjoys catnip and interactive toys with strings to play with her human. Eleanor loves chasing the laser like it’s a sport. She does great with other cats and small and large breed dogs. She doesn’t like to be held much and is very independent. When she doesn’t want attention she will nibble at you. When she gets the zoomies she has a habit of jumping at your feet. Birthday: June 24, 2024 Location: Lewistown, PA This kitty will certainly have you yelling, "Great Scott!"  Terrible jokes aside, Scotty here is a loving, silly boy who can't wait to meet his future family! He was part of a trap, neuter, and release program prior to his rescue, as you will see by his tipped ear.  When he was shown to be incredibly friendly, the trapper brought him to LCCR to see if he could find a loving home.  Afterall, a tame nutball like Scotty deserves a chance! What can we say about the little black void? Well, as we stated before, he's as friendly as can be! He's a cuddler, showing his deepest affection towards humans. He'd not only lay on your lap, but he would allow you to hold him for cuddles! And of course, no black kitty would be complete without a playful side! Birthday: October 19, 2018 Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Laurel has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts her. Laurel is sitting up high on her laurels!  This one-of-a-kind girl loves to tell you about her day and a story or two!  She's always striving to find new things to investigate just so she can tell you about it!  Always yearning for knowledge, this intelligent little lady will always wonder what's going on in the world!  Through her adventures, she's discovered the wonders of ping pong balls!  You can throw one around the house, and she will run after it like she was a cop chasing a jailbreaker!  She's climbing to the high peaks in her foster home and plays like she's a young kitten! Laurel will strike up a conversation with anyone!  It can be a person or another animal!  She doesn't mind calm, respectful puppy dogs; she also respects smaller animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs!  Initially, we thought that whenever she looked at the window and saw birds, she would talk to them as if they were buddies.  Little did we know that she was actually telling them off!  We guess she isn't much of a bird lover!  Though she is a social butterfly, Laurel wishes that her new home doesn't have any young children.  Plus, she wants to be the only cat in her household!  She's become a little "Regina" in her feline social circle, and we don't want any bullying to happen! Laurel is an incredibly active kitty!  It's hard to believe that this girl has diabetes!  She's currently under a special diet and given insulin twice a day to manage it!  If we weren't the ones administering it, we'd wouldn't have ever guessed!  We are starting to think she's too sweet for her own good!  Sure, she has an active side, but she also has a loving side!  She'll follow you around the house and stay close by your side.  She can't stand the thought of you being lonely!  In fact, she'd sit on your lap all day if you let her! She was found roaming the streets in the hot summer months looking for food and water. She was always sweet and would come right up to her finder for lovins. We brought her into rescue to help her find a loving home and most importantly get her spayed and off the streets. She was born approx April 2019. She loves pets and will head butt you to continue giving her all the love. She likes to sit with you and cuddle or be close to your chest. She can be a bit vocal and sassy, she has a queen mentality and likes things her way. She is currently living with other cats and dogs however we feel she would thrive best by herself. She doesn't prefer to play with other cats and isn't too fond of the dogs. She is more of a people cat. She's happy just being with her people. Her ideal home would be a calm environment where she can cuddle with the people she loves.
