Story
Rosey has overcome so much since arriving over a year ago. She was brought in after a neighbor found her injured outside with her owner having no interest in taking care of her medical needs. At intake, we noticed she was underweight and had bite wounds all around her head and neck. Unfortunately since we were unable to determine what caused the bite wounds, she had to go on a six month rabies quarantine so we could monitor her for any medical concerns that would indicate she was bit by a rabid animal. Thankfully she cruised through that quarantine with no difficulties. We did start to notice, though, that she was urinating large amounts, so a vet visit confirmed she did have a renal disease, which a special diet has helped maintain very well. She was treated once for a UTI also and has one bite hole that has not closed over and still drains regardless of the antibiotics and cleaning she has been on. It is along her left cheek and regularly needs to be cleaned off; the vet that has been monitoring her said that some bite wounds are so deep they become draining tracts. We did notice recently that she once again was acting a little quiet, so off she went to another vet appointment where they reconfirmed her special diet is keeping her renal numbers perfect, but now her thyroid has started to elevate. She did get started on meds for that, which she takes 1x a day. The poor gal has been through so much and is starting to get depressed here. While some people may see her as just a medical case, she is so much more than all the medical issues she has dealt with. She is an adorable, petite, sassy senior who is so ready to settle into a comfy, quiet forever home where she can snuggle in the sun as long as she wants!

Story
Tic Tac and Prince Noir are a bonded sibling pair. They were born on the streets and lived there for the first couple months of their lives. They were taken in by their foster mom where they have been working hard on their socialization and learning how to be playful, silly indoor kittens! They have come a long way but we do recommend they go to a quiet, calm household that will help them adjust at their own speed.

Story
Cinder is a very timid girl that is being worked with in a foster home to gain more confidence around humans. She enjoys running around and playing with her siblings but is still very nervous with any type of handling. Her new family will need to start her off in one room to allow her to slowly adjust at her own speed. Going into a home with one of her siblings or another cat friendly cat may help her settle in a little easier. Potential adopters will need to have a lot of patience with her and understand that she may always be a quieter cat that prefers her own space. She is a gorgeous young lady though and deserves all the time and attention she needs to help her feel settled and safe.

Story
This group of cats was part of a hoarding house situation, after their main owner passed away the husband of the household moved the cats into the garage/outside. He contacted us for help in finding them more suitable homes. These guys have always lived with a large number of cats and are very bonded with each other, due to this, we are requiring them to be adopted out in pairs. There are a few cats that we feel would do fine by themselves and they are marked accordingly.
