Spark was given up by her owner because of a divorce and no one stepped up to take care of her. Spark is a feisty little girl, no bigger than a minute, but she has a large personality. She may need to be your only pet and needs to be in a home with an experienced cat person who can help her become more secure. She can be very sweet. Hoping she can find her forever home. Teddy is an adorable orange and white young adult male. He is a Loving Care Cat Rescue cat residing in Harrisburg. Teddy was found with his brother and sister in the Linglestown area outside Harrisburg and was given to our rescue. He is very loving with a great personality. He likes to sleep on your lap. He is good with kids, dogs and other cats. He is playful, cuddly, affectionate and loves to run and play. He would make a wonderful addition to any loving person or family. (Teddy has monthly spells of sneezing excessively and sometimes has to take medication for a week or so to stop it. Other than that he is a wonderful, energetic cat). Lucky (his foster mom calls him Bubba) is a wonderful kitty who is currently living in a foster home in Harrisburg. He was found in the Lancaster area and taken in by LCCR when he was an older kitten (born around June 2017). He is extremely shy during the day and will run from you...but when night time comes around, he comes to his foster mom and is quite loving. He can't help his being shy, but he makes up for it at night! He needs a single cat home and would be ideal for an older female owner who doesn't have children and has a lot of patience! He has been with his foster mom for two years, and while she loves him dearly, she keeps hoping there is a forever home out there for him! Lucky is a handsome buff adult male cat. He is a Loving Care Cat Rescue cat residing in Harrisburg. Lucky was found in the Linglestown area where it was discovered he had a badly injured foot from an animal bite. After vet visits and proper medication, Lucky is now all healed and ready to be adopted. He is a bit scared at first but warms up quickly. He loves to play with the other cats and toys. He will lay on the couch or sit with you. Are you quirky?  Independent?  Walk to the beat of your own drummer?  Well then, we might just hit it off.  I'm Meeah, and my mom says I'm special.  Let's just say sometimes I don't "cat" well.  Interested?  Let me tell you more. I like my people on my own schedule, and the rest of the time I'm happy hanging around on a keyboard, in a box, or in a seat that's most inconvenient for you, my wonderful human.  My current favorite is my mom's office chair during the day while she's working. I’m just 9 years young and a fair amount of playful energy, so sometimes I try to chase my elderly less playful companions.  I just don't get the hint that they don't want to play - what's that hissing sound they make supposed to mean?  So a cat who I would live with will be one who is pretty chill and doesn't mind when I don't communicate very well. I love pouncing on the laser pointer dot, chasing toy mice, and swatting at wand toys - check out my video to see me in action!  You can put my kibble in a treat ball and give me (and you) entertainment and engagement while I eat. I love to cuddle up in bed with you at night and sit on your lap while you chill on the couch.  I also love heights - a nice cat tree, window perch, or (for bonus points) a cat shelf or two would be my favorite! Are we a good fit?  Here’s what I’m looking for in my life: a quiet home with no small children or noisy pets (they’re too much for me), an experienced cat owner or someone willing to learn about feline behavior and anxiety, and someone with the patience to help me feel safe in a new home.  I also have some bad memories of a person who smelled like a wood shop or worked with power tools, so I tend to not do well with people, particularly men, who smell of those smells. Fortunately for you, I’ve already been thoroughly checked out by a vet.  I have mild kidney malfunction so I eat an affordable kidney support diet.  I’m a bit anxious and take a low dose, affordable anxiety medication right now.  I’m really easy going about it, and my foster mom is happy to tell you more.  No need to wait and see what’s on the horizon for me - she’s already got me all figured out!
