Meet Luna and Zeta. These sweet sisters are almost two years old. They are petite, weighing approximately 9lb each. They are very sweet, playful, and social. We are very much hoping to have them adopted together. We rescued these sisters from a shelter in North Carolina in 2022. They are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and take monthly flea/tick medicine. Please reach out if you are interested or have any questions.

I took her in from somebody who was moving out of state. Whoever she was in a one cat household and I have other cats and dogs. She isn’t happy in my home. I really need someone who is very experienced and can work with her and take the time to let her adjust. I need serious inquiries only. If you have trouble with her please contact me again I will take her back I don’t want her to go to a shelter. She really can be a very nice cat but she needs it to be just her and no other cat.

This friendly mama kitty is ready for her forever family! She was once a stray who had kittens in a tree. She’s spayed and ready to leave her kittens as they’re going to their new families. She loves any attention and scratches, loves all types of treats and looking out the window. She doesn’t mind my other cat. She warms up to people very quickly. Please give this mama cat a family to call hers!

Story
Let me Bee-Bee your next BFF. My name's BeeBee and I came into the shelter with my friend Shimmer. We both came from an unknown background as w were found left alone in a home for quite some time without care. We're both looking for our next furever homes, either together or apart. While I may seem shy at first, I love nothing more than getting pets, eating treats, and playing in catnip. I also enjoy watcing bird videos and lounging in the sun. I could do okay with a home possibly with other cats and even kiddos, as long as theyre respectful of my unknown background. I may be a tortie but I don't have the classic 'tude. I'm a lovely lately just looking for my next home, a home that wont leave me behind. Please stop by the shelter to meet me and take me home!

"Best believe I'm still bejeweled, When I walk in the room, I can still make the whole place shimmer......"I may not be the best singer, but miss Taylor Swift has sure written a lovely song about me! I'm Shimmer, and I came in tp the shelter with my friend BeeBee, after being left behind in a home for an unknown amount of time. We're both a bit nervous and looking for our new furever homes (either together or apart). I can be a bit timid at first, but I truly do enjoy the company of others. Ill share a spot on the couch with you, and will take some treats from you nicely, too. I enjoy watching video's of squirrels and lounging in the sun. Please stop by the shelter any day to meet me and take me home!

Story
Hi! My name is Biggie and I am about 3 years old. When I came into the Pet Pantry I was a little under the weather. I also tested positive for FIV. But don't let that scare you! Here is a medical note from the Veterinarian: Biggie tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) at the time of his neutering when he was younger.  His test remained positive for FIV at the time of his intake to the Pet Pantry. This  means that Biggie is carrying the virus, and it makes it harder for him to fight infections. At the time of his arrival, Biggie had been dealing with eye infections for a long time. His eyes were treated here with erythromycin ophthalmic salve and he responded very nicely to this. His eyes appear normal now.  Biggie also had some dental issues when he arrived. He had a dental procedure while he was with us, and unfortunately he needed to have several teeth extracted. He has a condition where the teeth develop defects that erode the tooth tissue , a condition that is not entirely understood. These erosions can be very painful and lead to tooth fracture. The affected teeth have been removed, but it is likely that Biggie will need further dental care in the future. He does not appear to have mouth or throat inflammation (stomatitis), which can be a condition related to having FIV. Regular veterinary exams are recommended to keep an eye on Biggie's oral health. Biggie may eat canned or dry food. He should not eat dental diets or treats as they may be too firm form him to crush with his gums and jaws where he no longer has teeth.  Biggie may share a home with other healthy, well-vaccinated adult cats with whom he is friendly. If adopted into a home with other cats, introductions MUST be done slowly to avoid fighting with the residents. A brochure with general information about FIV has been included in his adoption folder. Your veterinarian will be the best source to answer any further questions you may have about Biggie's health.   I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am available for adoption at the Pet Pantry’s main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think I may be the purrfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch! June 12, 2024, 11:36 am

Story
Cornelius is a very handsome ginger gentleman with stunning sea-blue eyes. Having come from a house with too many cats, he starts off a little shy with humans. He loves the other cats that share our communal cat room with him. He especially enjoys the company of his brother, Constantine, and would probably do best in a home where they can stay together. He would most likely thrive in a quiet household where he can continue to gain confidence. His personality is blossoming in front of our eyes and we'd love for you to meet him!

Don't let her grumpy face and creaky meow fool you - Pumpernickel is a sweetheart of a cat looking for her forever home. She's an independent, strong girl who loves attention on her terms and isn't shy about (gently) telling you when she's had enough. Head scritches are a must! She currently lives in our lobby with a few other cats and seems to tolerate having roommates just fine. This gorgeous chatterbox looks forward to living the good life with her very own people.

Story
Severus is a gorgeous black cat looking for his forever home. He was rescued from an outside colony and certainly loves the indoor life! He is reportedly a chirpy, vocal cat who is very lovable. While he is still a little shy in our male communal cat room, he gets along with the other cats just fine and is gaining in confidence around humans every day. Come meet him!

Story
Stella was found in the backyard when she was about 8 weeks old. Friendly enough to let my wife pick her up and take her home. At the time we were fostering five 4 week old kittens and two 10 month old longhair male Siberian kittens. We are sure that Stella and the longhairs came from the same mother ( shorthair ) and it is possible that the other 5 did as well. Stella is now about 20 months old and adjusted to being a house cat. She shows her affection and wants affection but is not overbearing. She does not exhibit any negative household behavior. She comes around to socialize and disappears when she's ready to be alone; a normal cat. The problem is that the longhairs, particularly one of the longhairs, are / is very aggressive towards her and she is always on guard or she hides more than she should. I think she would do much better in a home where she does not have to look over her shoulder constantly. I am open to a trial period where she can be returned.

Looking to re-home this sweet boy. With working so many hours and being away often he is home alone a lot. I think he would be much better with someone who is home more often. His name is Lincoln and he is 7 years old, he can be pretty vocal at times and he’s still very playful for his age. Must be a kid free home. Please reach out with any other questions you may have!

Story
I got theikos when he was 4 months old at humane league on prince street, we’ve been going strong for 7 long years. He’s been loved and taken care of through all 7 years, my lease is ending and I’m moving into a new apt that doesn’t allow any pets unfortunately. This was a tough decision and a decision I didn’t want to make so I hope whoever adopts my beautiful boy can give him love and a good life for the remainder of his time here on earth.
