Story
Genesis is a stunning 1-year-old spayed female with striking black-and-white markings and bright green eyes — she even has a little black heart 🖤 on her right hip! This sweet, vocal girl loves attention and enjoys being close to her people. She’s playful and affectionate, often rolling over for belly rubs, but can be a bit shy in a crowd of other cats. Genesis would likely do best in a calm home without small children and perhaps one or two friendly feline companions. She hasn’t been tested with dogs yet. She is litter box trained and ready to become a cherished member of your family. *Indoor-only homes, please *We welcome out-of-state adoptions, but we do not provide transport. Story
Hi, I’m Munchkin. I used to be called Velvet, but I got this name because I’m just a little guy. Even though I’m a year-old brown tabby, I am only about 11 pounds. However, I do have a big personality, and I love to leap high into the air to catch a string toy. Boy, that’s my favorite activity. My foster mom has taken lots of videos of me chasing those toys. Most of the time my foster mom can find me sitting by one and begging with my eyes for her to 'make it move”! The treat game is another of my favorite activities. See, we have a puzzle that my foster family uses and she puts treats in them. Then I have to figure out how to get them out. I do love treats. OOOH and that push-pop-licky thing - I think she calls it a Churu… wow those are awesome! Like, I’ll do anything for one of those. I am a bit nervous around strangers, and dogs really scare me. I’d love a forever family that is older and quiet. I don’t remember what happened to me or how I ended up in the shelter (I was really young), but,  it must have been a little traumatic- all I remember is my foster mom picking me out of all the others. She said she saw something special in me. I’ve been with her for about 9 months, and I’d really love to find a forever family. I think I could be a wonderful emotional support animal. I will make a strong bond to one person and they will be my forever person. I will head butt them and rub on their legs while they are cooking dinner. I love to cuddle up while you watch TV and I’m a good nighttime cuddle buddy. Maybe you are looking for me, just as I am looking for you? Story
From Mama to Forever Friend! Hi, I’m a sweet tabby girl with big golden eyes and a gentle heart. I was born in January of 2025. I came inside just in time to have my very first—and only—litter of kittens. I was such a good mama, and now that my babies are grown and safe, it’s finally my turn to be cared for and loved. Life indoors suits me perfectly—I adore sunny window perches, cozy naps, tasty treats, and spending time with people. I’m playful, affectionate, and ready to leave my mama days behind for a brand-new chapter as someone’s cherished companion. Could that someone be you? &#226&#156&#168 Adoption information at https://shelteranimalsrescue.org/adoptVisit the SARG, Inc. website for more information about our policies, events, and to submit an online application for one of our animals: https://www.shelteranimalsrescue.org.October 24, 2025, 9:38 pm

Story
Meet Loki – Your Shy, Sweet Shadow Looking for a gentle soul to add to your feline family? Loki is a stunning, sleek black kitty with bright, thoughtful eyes and a heart full of quiet sweetness. Loki was born July 14th, 2025 and is fully vaccinated. This handsome boy is a bit on the shy side with people, but he’s blossoming more every day. He doesn’t hide—Loki enjoys being out and about in the house, watching the world from cozy corners or lounging comfortably near his humans. He’s slowly learning that people are pretty great, and he’s even started coming over for pets and sitting next to his foster mom on the couch. What Loki does know for sure is how much he loves other cats. He absolutely thrives around feline friends and would be happiest in a home with at least one confident kitty to show him the ropes. Loki is looking for a patient, loving family who will let him grow at his own pace and celebrate the small victories along the way. If you have a peaceful home, kind hearts, and resident cats who wouldn’t mind a new companion, Loki may just be the perfect fit. Give Loki the chance to bloom—he’s ready to become someone’s quietly devoted companion.  Adoption information at https://shelteranimalsrescue.org/adoptVisit the SARG, Inc. website for more information about our policies, events, and to submit an online application for one of our animals: https://www.shelteranimalsrescue.org.November 20, 2025, 2:36 am
