Story
Pepe is a short-haired black and white male cat about 2 years old.  He loves to snuggle up on your chest if you let him. He enjoys the company of other cats and especially loves to nap with them.  He is good with kids and other cats but is scared by dogs. He loves to play with toys and other cats.  He is a peaceful, calm cat.  Pepe’s owner is trying to rehome him, because he has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in his current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept him separated from the other pets, he has used the litter box faithfully.  He is current on her vaccinations and is otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of his vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.netWe are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.April 2, 2025, 2:56 pm

Story
Ruby is a pretty short-haired deep brown, almost red looking female cat about 4 years old.  She loves people and is definitely a lap cat. She’s chatty and enjoys following her humans around the house.   She is a peaceful, calm cat.  She is good with kids and other cats and is unphased by dogs.  Ruby’s owner is trying to rehome her because she has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in her current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept her separated from the other pets, she has used the litter box faithfully.  She is current on her vaccinations and otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of her vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Everest is a handsome short-haired orange tabby male about is about 10 months old (DOB 5/10/24).  He is a great little guy who gets along well with all the other kitties in his foster home, although he will never be the dominate kitty – he will always take a backseat when playing with others…unless there are treats involved! He isn’t one to come tell you he needs your love, but when you pet him, he is likely to just fall over and show you his belly for rubs! He is playful and curious and loves a good romp through the house with his best buddy Mickey. He recently went on a 2-week trial adoption with Mickey that didn’t work out, but back at his foster home he didn’t miss a beat getting back into the routine. His foster mom loves him very much, but he deserves a home where he can get more time and attention. He needs a playful feline companion (we recommend Mickey!), and would likely be fine with older kids but to our knowledge he has never met a dog. Everest is a healthy boy, but has had some chronic drainage from his right eye. He doesn’t like his face washed daily, but he’s okay with the occasional wipe or finger rub to make him look his best. He's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had all three distemper and the rabies vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered.  Preference will be given to local adopters who have a young-ish playmate/companion, as we do not think he will do as a solo pet.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.netWe are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Angel is a lovely short-haired black and white female cat about 2 years old.  Unfortunately, her previous owner had to go into assisted living and could not take Angel with her.  Angel was rescued about a year ago by her previous owner.  Her eyes were swollen shut due to an upper respiratory infection.  The bad news is that she is totally BLIND.  The good news is that her eyes will not require any additional treatment, and she is otherwise super healthy.  She lived with a chihuahua and her previous elderly caregiver.  Angel loves to be with people.  She will follow you around and wants to be next to you or in your lap.  Playing is one of her favorite things, and she wants people to play with her.  She is very calm and laid back.  She’s a very good eater and Is not picky.  She has great manners and excellent litter box habits.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, been vaccinated for distemper and rabies, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccine (distemper booster) included in the adoption fee.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net. We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Brook, Saffron and Forest all had a rough start in life, but they are ready to be their best selves in a furever home. They are about 5-6 months old (DOB about 7/15/24) and are very playful and friendly. They transitioned very quickly in their foster home from being nervous and a little shy in new surroundings to being comfortable and ready to take on the world! Brook, the darkest of the three, has blossomed into a very sweet and sassy girl with tons of energy and curiosity. Saffron plays hard with her siblings, but she is sweet and gentle with her humans. Her beautiful colors are more blended than striped, and she's the softest of the three. Forest has classic tabby stripes like Brook, but his coloring lighter like Saffron. He is full of confidence and high energy play, but loves his snuggle time! Any way you combined them, they are perfectly happy! They come running to meet new people, and as a trio they are the best kitties ever! They do well with other cats after proper introduction, and they have previously lived with dogs. They will be fine with children, but their rough-and-tumble play might be challenge for young children. They would make a fabulous trio, but can be adopted in a pair or individually (discount for adopting two). They are negative for feline leukemia and aids, had all three distemper and the rabies vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered. Preference will be given to local adopters and to adopters who have a young playmate companion for the kitten. We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet. May be adopted separately or as a pair (discount for two!) Story
Miss Snickers is a 1yr old stunning tortie. She is new to rescue and is actively looking for her forever home. Recently, her family moved and left her behind. She was lucky to find a lady nearby that fed her and took her in until a foster home was found. Miss Snickers has been in her foster home for 3 weeks now, and her personality is really starting to shine. Her foster Mom describes her as a cuddle companion, lap kitty and full of love. She does require her own pillow to nap on and will sleep beside you on her pillow at night. Snickers would do well in a home as an only pet or with a nice respectful dog or cat. Snickers is negative for feline leukemia, current on her distemper and rabies vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed. NOTE: Snickers is FIV pos. FIV is NOT transferred by casual contact (sharing litter boxes, food dishes or mutual grooming. A generous donor has paid Snicker's adoption fee, so she is a sponsored cat.
