Meet Little Mikey, a loving and sweet cuddle bug ready to complete your family! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ Mikey and his littermates (Joselito, Patti, and Jasmine) were found stranded at a local gym. After being rescued at just a few weeks old, they are now safe and sound and living the indoor "gym life"! Mikey is ready to be your new best friend. He loves to play and is an expert at running on the cat wheel and chasing toys around the house. He's a constant source of entertainment! Little Mikey is the definition of a Curious Kitten... He wants to know everything you're doing and LOVES to try and help. He just adores being in the middle of the action and hanging out with his favorite humans, no matter what the activity is! This cutie pie is a huge fan of snuggle time as well. He loves curling up on your lap and taking a nap. Mikey Moo is a special guy with a big heart and so much love to give. He is more than ready to meet his perfect match -- could it be you?! Mikey and his siblings (Joselito, Patti, and Jasmine) are ~5 months old, spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. They do a great job of keeping their litterbox tidy. All they need now is a forever home! The Gym Kitties have never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think they could learn to love a new dog friend. They are so excited they get to live the inside cat life!! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Mikey, Joselito, Patti, and Jasmine are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Meet Bacon, a sassy little flirt who is looking for her forever home! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ Bacon was found on the streets by a Good Samaritan, and it was obvious she wasn't born outdoors. Bacon was immediately friendly, snuggly, and craving human attention, so we think she was purchased and later dumped. Lucky for Bacon, this means she has a chance at an even better life! Little Bacon is hilarious. She is the embodiment of the word "kitten". She's playful and fun, loves jumping and climbing and playing with toys. She also has the ideal kitten attitude, and goes into every situation with full confidence... When she gets overwhelmed though, she comes running back to her foster mom! Bacon is a fluffy squishy mess of kitty. She will make an amazing buddy for a family looking for a cat with a strong and hilarious personality. Her furry ears and the smudge on her pink nose make her absolutely irresistible. Apparently Bacon was picked on a bit by the colony cats after she was dumped, so she is still learning that when her foster kitten siblings wrestle with her, it's just for fun and not scary. I can't even write a super long bio about Bacon because there are only so many ways to say she is perfect. Set up a video call to meet her today and I guarantee you'll agree! ___ Bacon thrives with kitty companionship once she feels comfortable. She does tiny little "baps" with her paws when she is overwhelmed during play time, but then gets right back in on the action. Bacon has never met a dog, and might be a little scared by a larger, rambunctious pup. With proper introductions, she would likely do great with an existing resident cat or a calm, cat-savvy dog. Or, she would be thrilled if adopted with one of her new foster buddies! Bacon is ~3.5 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy, all she needs now is her forever home. Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Bacon is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. This pint-sized void kitten is Ebony, a little girl who just wants to be pet and loved. And with that face... who wouldn't oblige?! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ Ebony was found by a Good Samaritan hiding under a car all alone. It was obvious that she was familiar with humans, and once she was brought inside she immediately warmed up to her foster family. Ebony is hilarious - she is teeny tiny but has the confidence of a giant Tomcat. She is chatty and will let you know if she hasn't gotten enough love or wants to play. She also jumps up into your hand for "self-pets", which is adorable. This girl is hilarious, fearless, fluffy, and ready to be a part of her very own loving family. If you're looking for a daily and sweet family member who will also make you laugh... This is the girl for you. Meet Ebony today!! ----- Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens (discount given for adopting 2!) or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Ebony has not met a dog before, but with slow and careful introductions to a well-behaved dog we think she would do great with a new pup sibling! Ebony has become very close with some of her foster siblings and would do great if adopted with any of them. She especially loves her kitten friend Mike and her older brother Boogie. Her friendly demeanor makes her willing to make new friends as well

Meet Maverick! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Maverick and his Top Gun siblings (Rooster and Goose) are an adorable trio of tuxedo boys found under a bush in Houston. They were rescued and are safe and sound now -- they have adjusted very quickly to the good life indoors and are ready for a home of their own! The Top Gun kittens are new to our foster program and we are still getting to know their personalities. We will update their bios soon with even more info! Just like his movie star namesake, Maverick is definitely the leader of his “pack”. He is completely fearless and loves hanging out with new people and his kitty siblings. Maverick is also a very photogenic little guy, and leaves his tongue out often for a perfect Blep photo! He is the epitome of a lovable kitten — you’ll often find him in his cat tree, chasing toys, or wrestling with his brothers. When he’s done doing kitten things, he loves curling up in a warm lap and taking a nap. These boys love to explore, wrestle, climb up their cat trees, and cuddle up together. Story
Meet Charlotte, the head-butting, tail shaking flirty gal ready to steal your heart… and your cat treats! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Charlotte is one of a group of cats who were born at a local Houston bar (Drift Bar). They grew up around the hustle and bustle of bar-goers and love being around people. When the only home they’d ever known closed down this summer, the resident kitties were left alone to fend for themselves until some good Samaritans stepped in. Charlotte is by far the bravest of her crew – the “pack leader” you might say. As an indoor cat she developed the funniest little greeting ritual: she gives a little mew, casually walks up, and stands up on her hind legs, smushing her head into your hand for pets. Once she gets her pets, she can hardly contain her excitement and shakes her tail at top speed. It’s hard to describe but is one of the most endearing things I’ve seen. She’s also waiting at “her” window every day, keeping tabs on the action outside. If you’re looking for a watchdog who won’t actually alert you to intruders or guard the house, Charlotte is your girl. Mark my words: if something is going on out there, she’ll be watching with her face against the glass like an adorable nosy neighbor. The window is Charlotte’s version of Reality TV. It is her favorite past time and she takes her hobby very seriously. ___ Charlotte is still a bit confused about the concept of being picked up. We are practicing this daily and slowly making progress, but there is a chance she might just be the kind of cat who needs to climb or jump up on her own instead of being carried. She isn’t a super-needy Velcro cat, she’s more like a best friend and companion who will lay next to you (or by her window) while you pass the time together. With the progress this girl has made in just one month, I can only imagine how much she will grow and blossom with her perfect family. ___ Miss Charlotte has a nearly-identical sister Chloe who is also up for adoption – the two of them are very close and would be an adorable pair for anyone looking for double the fun. She has a very easygoing demeanor, and with proper introductions she would do just fine with an existing resident cat. She would also be fabulous as an only cat with love and attention from her human family. Charlotte has not met a dog during her time indoors. We would be happy to test her temperament with dogs prior to adoption for any serious applicants who have patient resident pups. Charlotte is ~2 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy, all she needs now is her forever home. Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat The Drift Bar Kitties: Victoria, Harrison, Charlotte, Chloe, Sebastian (coming soon), and Genevieve (coming soon). Charlotte is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ___ ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! Story
Meet Socks! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Socks is a 6- month-old cutie whose name fits her perfectly—she’s dressed to impress in her little white “socks” and full of kitten charm. Playful and curious, she’s always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. Socks loves interactive toys, chasing feather wands, and exploring every corner of her world. Once she’s had her fun, she’s happy to relax nearby and enjoy gentle pets from her favorite humans. She’s social and enjoys being around people and loves to be carried around to the explore the world as she cuddles you. Socks currently lives alongside other cats and coexists peacefully, though she’s not particularly cuddly or bonded with them. She has also been introduced to dogs; she’s comfortable around them and prefers not to play. ————————— Socks is vaccinated, microchipped, combo tested, up to date on flea meds and de-wormer. She’s litter box trained and has excellent manners. She’ll bring a perfect mix of independence, playfulness, and charm to her forever home. Location & Transport Socks is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or cities along the route. Apply to adopt Socks here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat ————————- Why We Charge an Adoption Fee Your adoption fee covers vetting, transport, and helps fund our TNR (trap-neuter-return) work.
