Story
Bridges and Ashes with 2 other litter mates were all rescued from the Oregon Fire last summer in Elk WA.  At just a couple of weeks old, they were found with no sign of mama and the fire getting close.  Their  foster mama jumped in to foster them until they were ready for their forever home. While growing up the kittens were all raised around kids, cats and dogs. The Irish wolfhound in their foster home immediately decided they were hers and the kittens still love snuggling up with her.   Ashes is full of energy and loves playing with all the animals. She is inquisitive and adventurous. Ashes has been around kids, dogs big and small, and other cats. She enjoys being around people and will usually follow where the "action" is.  When Ashes finally runs out of energy she also loves to snuggle.   Bridges is very playful and enjoys playing with other cats and dogs.  She likes climbing her tower and wrestling with her litter mates.  She is also a purr monster and the minute you touch her she starts purring and doesn't stop. At the end of the day Bridges loves to cuddle up in your lap and snuggle. Bridges is a special needs kitten as she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia which causes her significant balance issues but in no way dampens her joy of life.  She has a funky walk that is more like a waddle and will sometimes fall over but that doesn't stop her from running around and playing.  She also has a head tremor/shake which can make eating and drinking a bit more challenging but she has learned a few tricks and can now do both quite well on her own.  Despite her "wobbles" as we call them, Bridges is just like most other kittens and just needs a little extra TLC. Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious. The girls come spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, and they are negative for feline aids and leukemia. Ashes & Bridges are about 6 months old. Their adoption fee is $100 each or $150 for the pair. To be considered to adopt, please apply today!  ##1943585##

Story
Bellatrix & Freddy came to POUNCE along with their other two siblings Sirius & Luna at the beginning of June. They were dumped in a crate on foster parent Emily’s property. Emily was willing to foster these sweet little ones for us. Sirius and Luna already have forever homes lined up!   Freddy is a huge goofball as you can tell from his photos! He loves chasing toys, wand toys, and anything he can jump inside of.   Bellatrix (aka Bella) loves to frolic in blankets, chase around little mouse toys, scratching pads, spinning ball toys and cuddles so well.   They both want to be held, often together, and are still learning about claw etiquette when they want something, but they're coming a long way fast! Freddy is the biggest of the litter (tall and long) and Bellatrix is the runt but is growing quick! She has a little kink at the end of her tail but keeps up with everyone. They're both purry loves who just want to play and nap all day, and they love their food. Each have excellent litter box manners, tolerate wipedown baths well, have interacted with our other cats well, and drink water out of the fountain like champs!   Freddy and Bella would love to be adopted together, but would do ok separately in a home with another feline companion. They are 8 weeks old and will be ready for their forever homes after their spay/neuter surgery on 6/26. Freddy and Bella will come spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped (including registration). The fee to adopt one kitten is $100, and if you elect to adopt the pair the total fee is $150.    If you are interested in adopting, the first step is submitting an application.    Thanks for checking out our little ones!    ##2088624##

Story
Freddy was dumped at 3 months old and ended up with me. He has been neutered and had his shots. He is microchipped, but I never registered him. He is approximately 13 months old. He is a big boy at over 15 pounds. He likes to be inside and out. My former partner was home during the day, but I am gone all day and several evenings every week, leaving Freddy home alone a lot. He needs a home where he can have interaction and lots of love. He has not been around other animals or many people. He just needs love and attention that he isn’t getting currently.

Story
We have to rehome our cat, he is very stressed out with our toddler and has started to get contentious with the baby. (We have tried multiple medications, natural remedies and different approaches, he is just not happy) He doesn’t like other animals or young children so a home with just adults and no other animals is where he would be happy. He would be a great companion for an older person who is lonely. He is very sweet and caring, and can tell when someone is sad or sick and will stick right to them. He is 9 and fixed. Please message me if Moo sounds like a good fit for you or someone you know No rehoming fee for the right fit

Story
I found this cat at only about 1-2 months back in August 2023 on my parents’ property in southern Idaho. She was skin and bones and sick, so I took her in as she wouldn’t have survived out there much longer. She is in much better condition now! As much as I’d love to keep this cat, I don’t have enough time or energy for her. She’s about a year old and is very sweet and energetic. She also loves to cuddle! I’m looking for her to be rehomed by someone trustworthy. If you’re interested in taking her, I have a cat tree and kitty litter boxes I’d be willing to provide for free as well. My only concern is her going to a great home.

Story
Solomon is a curious, cautious, affectionate, indoor pet who lives to play by day and loves to cuddle up close by night. He is two years old (March-ish), chipped, neutered, and is up to date on shots. He is quite vocal in a very friendly, almost conversational manner, purrs easily, and loves to chase down his treats as opposed to having them dropped in front of him. He is a clever, very social cat with most who come through the door, two legs or four, enjoys being picked up and carried around, and is a genuinely friendly pet. He follows the rules; no countertops, only scratching on scratch pads (has front claws), and looking so dang handsome ;). He is a great cat that I am torn for having to part with, but I will not be able to cart him around the country the way I would need to in order to ensure he receives the love and attention he needs. So, I am hoping to find someone who has a spot in their home and heart to add another close friend, taking my place as his new person.

Nemo is about 8 1/2 years old he’s a sweet boy, he is on the chunky side at the moment. He’s a great mouser/ hunter, loves to be outside 95% of his time the other 5% is split with cuddling, sleeping, and eating. He is indoor/outdoor likes to go out during the day and come inside at night time, but winter time is when he likes to be inside the most. Loves dogs and gets along with other cats. He’s lived with lots of acreage outside of town where he can run around and adventure but unfortunately I just moved and he doesn’t have that space/ lifestyle at the moment. I’m hoping someone with property who wants a adventures hunting cat will be able to take him in. As I can no longer keep him anymore.

Story
PLEASE NOTE: These two are bonded and I would like a home that would be willing to love both of these cats. Hello this is the friendliest and most talkative boy! His name is rocket and he is just filled with energy and love for the right home. He is about to hit one year old and is just a loveable cat. He loves pets, wand toys, and food! He was adopted as a kitten and behaves like a dog in the sense that he loves attention more so than most cats. Looking for a good home for this good boy as I am being required to move for work and I am not able to bring him with me. The second cat is Blanca! Blanca was adopted when she was 6months young and is now a little over two years old. She is more of a cat than Rocket is. She enjoys lounging and kneading. While she won't be seeking attention as much as her younger brother she is an adorable cat. A very dainty lady with love to give. When she trusts you enough she will start become a lap cat, knead you, and give you head bumps.
