Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Spokane Valley, Washington

PLEASE NOTE: These two are bonded and I would like a home that would be willing to love both of these cats. Hello this is the friendliest and most talkative boy! His name is rocket and he is just filled with energy and love for the right home. He is about to hit one year old and is just a loveable cat. He loves pets, wand toys, and food! He was adopted as a kitten and behaves like a dog in the sense that he loves attention more so than most cats. Looking for a good home for this good boy as I am being required to move for work and I am not able to bring him with me. The second cat is Blanca! Blanca was adopted when she was 6months young and is now a little over two years old. She is more of a cat than Rocket is. She enjoys lounging and kneading. While she won't be seeking attention as much as her younger brother she is an adorable cat. A very dainty lady with love to give. When she trusts you enough she will start become a lap cat, knead you, and give you head bumps.

Our alpha cat, Beocca is a 5 y/o black tuxedo, who is full of energy. We adopted him as a kitten from Spokanimal. Beocca is quite affectionate and enjoys being petted and held. If you say “kiss kiss”, he will give you a nose-kiss. He loves his snacks right around dinner time, when he hangs out by the pantry, waiting for the good stuff. Say the word “up” and he will stand on his hind legs and take his treat from your fingers. Beocca (and his brother, Bump) are indoor/outdoor cats. We let them go where they want, which is usually indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We do have a safe place for them outdoors (our deck). We do not have kids, so he is used to a fairly quiet environment. Homes with young children might not work well with Beocca. Ideally, both Bump and Beocca would go to another loving home together, but this is not completely necessary. Bump’s profile is also listed separately on Rehome Adopt A Pet.

Bump is a 15 y/o black/brown tabby. We adopted him as a kitten from a family that just had a litter. This sweet boy who is slowing down loves hanging out close to us (or on us) and being petted and brushed. You say the word “brush” and he gets excited. He also loves getting his snacks right around 6:00PM. You say “snack” and his ears perk up even when he’s sleeping. Bump, (and his younger brother Beocca), are indoor/outdoor cats. We have had Nala since she was a kitten. We got her at an animal shelter in Portland, OR. She was so cute and quirky. She loved to play fetch with hair ties and cuddle. Over the last 12 years, she has been a great cat and addition to our family. She is very quiet (she never makes a peep) and loves her food. Now that she is a bit older, you’ll mainly find her sleeping in her bed or eating her breakfast and dinner and she comes out in the evening for cuddles. We have two young kids and although she does great with them, I think she’d love to be in a quiet home. She can easily scare and prefers peace and quiet. She has ventured outside a few times but prefers to be inside. We are moving to a new state and are building a home so we will be in a few different rental homes over the next year and a half. As much as I hate the thought of not having Nala as part of our home, I feel like it would be best for her to be in a more stable, peaceful environment.

Bridges and Ashes with 2 other litter mates were all rescued from the Oregon Fire last summer in Elk WA.  At just a couple of weeks old, they were found with no sign of mama and the fire getting close.  Their  foster mama jumped in to foster them until they were ready for their forever home. While growing up the kittens were all raised around kids, cats and dogs. The Irish wolfhound in their foster home immediately decided they were hers and the kittens still love snuggling up with her.   Ashes is full of energy and loves playing with all the animals. She is inquisitive and adventurous. Ashes has been around kids, dogs big and small, and other cats. She enjoys being around people and will usually follow where the "action" is.  When Ashes finally runs out of energy she also loves to snuggle.   Bridges is very playful and enjoys playing with other cats and dogs.  She likes climbing her tower and wrestling with her litter mates.  She is also a purr monster and the minute you touch her she starts purring and doesn't stop. At the end of the day Bridges loves to cuddle up in your lap and snuggle. Bridges is a special needs kitten as she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia which causes her significant balance issues but in no way dampens her joy of life.  She has a funky walk that is more like a waddle and will sometimes fall over but that doesn't stop her from running around and playing.  She also has a head tremor/shake which can make eating and drinking a bit more challenging but she has learned a few tricks and can now do both quite well on her own.  Despite her "wobbles" as we call them, Bridges is just like most other kittens and just needs a little extra TLC. Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious. The girls come spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, and they are negative for feline aids and leukemia. Ashes & Bridges are about 6 months old. Batman, Jalapeño, & Kinkley are available for pre adoption! These cuties along with their sister Roxy came to us when they were found alone outdoors and their mom wasn’t located after two days. Thankfully they survived and were carefully raised by their lovely foster mama Sammy. Batman is the sweetest, most loving boy. He loves to gaze into your eyes and pat your face gently while purring.  Jalapeño (aka Halle) is sweet and snuggly when she wants love, and funny and adventurous when she wants to play. Both Halle and Batman have chocolate coats and gorgeous green eyes.  Kinkley (aka Kink) has an adorable crook in her tail. She loves to snuggle, is sweet, silly, and very loving. Her pretty eyes and luxurious, long whiskers make her a stunning lady!  All of the kiddos are social with cats and dogs, and would likely do just fine with kids! Introducing… the fire kittens! The fire babies joined POUNCE a couple weeks ago. The babies are from our Dalke colony and are Dalke #10’s babies. Hopefully this will be the very last litter ever born at Dalke! They were initially quite spicy, but have come around very well! They are now all very social and sweet. All the kittens have been healthy since having initial URI symptoms. Cinder has been diagnosed with a very mild form of CH (Cerebellar hypoplasia), it has not affected any of the other kittens. Ember is very sweet and snuggly. She runs up and asks for snuggles and purrs while she sinks into your arms. She also loves to play, especially with a ping pong ball in the shower. Ember is a firecracker and would fit into a high activity household with no issue!  The fire crew is around 8 weeks and will be spayed/neutered on 7/14/24 and then will be ready to go to their forever homes! Each kitten will come spayed or neutered, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (including registration). The adopt fee for one kitten is $100 or $150 for a pair! Maricio is about 9 years old. He is very affectionate and loves people but has attacked toddlers.He should not be around small children. He is an outside cat and a good mouser. Maricio has a spraying problem.

Edgar Allen Poe, Ed for short, is a sweet, playful, friendly indoor/outdoor cat. Not one to play with the toilet paper or knock glasses off counters, he’s a great cat. He’s very social and would do best with animal friends. Unfortunately, I am unable to give him the love and care he deserves.

Edgar and Preston are from the same litter and thus are likely bonded, although they are both very dominant. These cats are not good indoor cats, they would be best suited as barn cats. They were neutered late by their first owners, and so they spray urine everywhere. They also defecate indoors on occasion, scratch furniture and rugs, and can be suddenly aggressive (clawing and biting) despite also seeming affectionate. They are excellent hunters although sometimes it's just for sport and their live/injured prey will end up loose in the house if allowed in. We have had these cats for 7 years and we have tried everything to correct behaviors including hiring a professional behaviorist. We love them, and this is a very hard choice for us, but due to safety concerns, and being unable to handle this for another 10 (give or take) years, we need to rehome. Again, they would be very well suited as barn animals, we don't recommend someone take these cats into their home.
