Story
Hello, I’m Applesauce. I came to JR`s with my two kittens. They found their forever home and now I`m on the lookout for one of my own. I am still not a fan of dogs and need a home without them. I`m trying to learn to live with other cats, but I really prefer to be the boss. One other submissive cat might be OK. My foster mom also thinks I would not be great with small children because of my bossy side; however I do have a sweet side. I want lots of attention. If you aren`t paying enough attention to me, don`t worry I will let you know by talking your ear off. I`ve got lots of energy and would love a home with people who will play with me.Ask to meet me Adoption fee: $125 All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the `HOW TO ADOPT` tab on our website at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and landlord. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.

Story
Meet Jasmine! Jasmine was pulled off the streets as a stray by one of our fosters and after some much needed gentle love, she`s ready to find her furever home! Initially she was really nervous to be around humans but a couple months of consistent feeding lured her inside & she hasn`t looked back since! This sweet 1 year old has already been through so much on the streets, she lost the tips of her ears to frostbite during her first winter (& thankfully only winter outside), so she has really tiny ears that make her look like the cutest little house panther! This doesn`t seem to affect her at all, she loves to have her chin/ cheeks scratched and is still a loving & playful girl, she just needs the right family willing to open their hearts to her! She gets along with adoptable foster sibling Moma, they love taking turns playing with their feather on a stick! She also gets along with the resident dog! Please check back for updates as my foster family gets to know me. Story
Meet sweet WANDER! Wander was found with her 2 sisters as stray kittens at roughly 3 months old. Although they were all a little spicy at first and originally their ears were tipped as ferals, Wander`s foster could see the the gleam in her eye that she had a heart full of potential. After some much needed time learning `how to cat` from her foster siblings, Wander is confident she`ll be able to find the puurfect & patient home!So far, her foster thinks she`d really thrive with another social cat in the house, she LOVES to play with the resident Siamese. She`s also warmed up to the resident great dane & tries to play with her too! Her favorite treats are churu treats (or `fishy go-gurts as her foster mama calls them!) and she`ll melt in your hands for some chin scratches. She`s not big on cuddling yet but I`m certain with the right family, she`ll blossom into an amazing companion! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about WANDER on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!! Meet Star: The Shy, Sweet Little Beauty! Star is a soft, pretty little lady with an irresistible charm. She’s sweet, shy, and adorably cute, with a gentle personality that will make your heart skip a beat. Star takes her time to feel comfortable in new surroundings, but her affectionate nature shines brightly once she feels safe and loved. She would love to find a home with another young feline.  Star is fostered in a home where the youngest children are 9 & 11 years old. She does great with the kids but would prefer a home where the kids (if any) are past the noisy toddler years.  She uses her litter box 100% of the time and loves her kibble.  If you’re looking for a calm and sweet kitty to add love and warmth to your life, Star is ready to bring her gentle light into your home. Story
3 words that describe Giuseppe  Cuddly, social, and fun. He is a great lap kitty. Once he is ready for a nap he finds the warmest lap and makes himself at home. He has got along well with my other adult cats. He enjoys playing with his brother. His favorite thing to do is run up and down the hallway playing chase with his brother. He would do well with another cat friend or alone.  Not sure about a dog but I think he would adjust to a dog. The barking when we did transport didn't seem to bother him one bit.  Animal is Fostered in: Racine, WI and able to go home on or after 2/13/25 He/She is scheduled for alteration on 2/12/25.  If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration.  We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK.   Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled.  If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded.  We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us.  We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments.  Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##2289725##

Come meet Guido. He is energetic, sweet and funny. This boy loves to run and play with all sorts of cat toys but his favorite and these little soft balls. It always fun to find them in my shoes when I go to leave for work. Sometimes if I am lucky there will be two of them in one. He does like to nap in a lap or with his brother. He would do best in a home with another cat. Yang the black male is very friendly and wants to be on your lap but also is very playful. They love to wrestle with each other.  They are in a foster home now, but came from an Amish farm where they were outside without protection from the elements.  We took them in so they could be loved pets enjoying life instead of living outside. Adoption Procedures: 1.  Completely fill out the pre-adoption application.  We will be checking with your vet if you have had pets, calling your landlord (if any) and checking a personal reference, before we contact you about visiting the adoptables.  Any missing information may have us moving onto another application. 2.  If you application is approved, we will contact you to come meet the adoptables that you are interested in.   3.  If it is a match, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.  Please be prepared to take your adopted pet home when you come meet him/her.  In most cases, you will be able to take the pet home the same day.  If all the vetting hasn't been done yet, we will hold the pet for you until the vet work is completed.  4.  If you have filled out an application and we haven't contacted you within a week, we may have missed your application, the pet may have been adopted by another applicant, or you may have been missing information on your application.  You may contact us to find out the status of your application at this time.  Please give us a week to process your application before contacting us!   All kittens are spayed/neutered, have a vet exam, started on kitten vaccinations, are microchipped and started deworming.  If you have been thinking about adding a kitten to your family, ask for more information on the felines at Bichon and Little Buddies!  Adoption fee for kittens is $125.   If you are interested in meeting any of the pets at Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue, please fill out the pre-adoption application.  After reviewing the application, we will get in touch with you to set up an appointment to meet with the dog/cat you are interested in. All dogs/cats are seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Many are in various foster homes getting extra one on one attention getting them ready for their new homes.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application.  Bichon and Little Buddies is run by volunteers who have full time jobs in addition to the hours they spend with the rescue animals.  Having an application on file assures us that the potential adopter is really interested in adopting a pet.  It also assists us in placing our animals in homes where both the pet and new owners are happy.  The application puts you under no obligation to adopt a dog or cat from Bichon and Little Buddies. The online Pre-Adoption Application can be found at http://www.bichonrescues.com/adoption.html and click on the link for the cat application.  Once you submit the form online you will get an email confirmation, and then we will contact you once we review the application. Thanks for thinking about adopting your new pet! More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS February 3, 2025, 12:51 am
