Story
Say hello to Iceman. Iceman is a sweet quiet young man who is looking for a patient home. He actually loves being in your lap but needs a home willing to give him time to settle in and who understands he wants to ask for attention vs receive it randomly. He absolutely loves other cats, particularly other friendly playful cats, and would make a great companion for another young cat or kitten. Iceman is a quiet shy cat who's had a rough life in his 1.3 years. Iceman was originally with FOR as a kitten, was adopted and when he was about 8 months, he was diagnosed with FIP. FIP is considered fatal, however there is an experimental treatment that shows a lot of promise and his adopters decided to get him started with it. Part way through the 3 month treatment, they decided to release him back to FOR, and he's been in a foster home since then. He completed his initial 3 months of treatment and completed a 3 month monitor period and he is as healthy as they come. Once the three month period is over with no relapse, he is considered cured from FIP, making him an #FIPWarrior and #FIPSurvivor. He is listed as special needs because of the FIP in his past, although it is not expected to influence him again. The initial stages of FIP treatment are very painful, so he has anxiety about being approached and being grabbed. He is very happy to approach you and sit on your lap and be petted, but he wants it to be on his terms. Do you have a special place for Iceman? He's alive thanks to his treatment, he's healthy as can be and he just needs a kind and patient home who understands his quirks. He's fully vetted, neutered and ready to move on (preferably to home with a cat buddy too).

Story
Sleepy is a very playful baby! She loves to chase toy mice, balls, and bells. She plays hard with her siblings and would love a home with another young cat. She has been exposed to dogs, but they are scary, so a slow introduction would be needed. Sleepy still has a very confident personality and is an explorer at heart. She is looking for an active home with fun family members. Animal is Fostered in: Racine, WI and able to go home on or after 01/18/2026 She is scheduled for alteration on 01/16/26.  If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration.  We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK.   Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled.  If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded.  We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us.  We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments.  Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##2614633##

Story
Don't let her name fool you. Grumpy girl is NOT Grumpy at all, but the litter names were a theme. Miss Grumpy is a sweet, loving, and cuddly little girl with a lot of love to give. She really enjoys being held and pet until she falls asleep with all the purring you can stand. She is fiesty with the dogs but they outweigh her by 70-130 lbs, so it's understandable. She plays really well with her siblings and would do well in a house with other young cats or a slower introduction with dogs.
