Story
Hi I'm Oreo! I'm a sweet senior cat who is ready to spend my golden years with my future family! I grew up with 3 other cats in my old home, and I didn't meet many new people. Because of this, I definitely feel more confident with other cats around (like my sister, Boots!), and it takes me a little while to warm up to new people. Boots and I aren't bonded, but we would be more than happy to stay senior besties in our new home! If you're interested in helping a shy cat (or 2), apply to meet with Oreo!

Greetings, I'm Frida! I'm looking for a family that thinks I'm so special, they'd like to have 55 portraits of me around their house! I'm a compact little lady who loves soft, snuggly beds and pets! You can tell because you can hear my purr from across the room. I might be a little nervous to meet you at first, but I warm up quickly with some scratchies. If I sound like the kind of cat you want to be besties with, schedule an appointment to meet Frida Kahlo!

Hey, I'm Lizzy! I'm a chatty little lady who is looking for my new family! My foster mom says I've never met a toy I don't like, and a sun beam I don't want to snooze in. I can be wary of new people, but I really like pets when I warm up to you. Pick-ups aren't really my favorite, but I think my personality makes up for it! If I sound like your kind of cat, schedule an appointment to meet with Lizzy!SPECIAL NOTES: I have experience living with dogs

Howdy folks, I'm Nemo! I'm an older gentleman who is ready to kick back and enjoy life with my new family! Even though I'm considered a senior, I still have a lot of life to live and love to give! My age just means I'm more laid-back and enjoy living life at a more casual pace. If you think our vibes match, apply to meet with Nemo!

Story
Hey there folks, I'm Paul! I'm a cute little dude who is finally feeling brave enough to go home as an indoor cat! I came in with some of my relatives from a property, and living inside and being close to people was pretty scary at first. But after a lot of meals and pets from some trusted friends, I learned that being inside wasn't so bad after all! Now I'm in foster, learning how to be a proper indoor boy from my foster brother. Since I'm young and more nervous with new people, I'd feel most brave going to a home with a young, cat-social buddy to help me continue to feel confident in my new home. If I sound like the cat for you, apply to meet Paul!

Story
Logan is a very friendly and outgoing guy who seeks attention from his foster family. He comes running when called, just waiting to be petted or played with. He has a lot of energy and will do best in a home with room for him to run and play. Offering Logan toys and engaging him will help focus that energy in positive ways. Although Logan loves to play, his first love is being near his foster family, so having a family member close by to engage him often would be best for him. After he is done playing, Logan loves to snuggle and sleep or rest near his family. He will be a wonderful companion and will brighten up your day! Logan is FIV+, but doing very well with no concerns at this time. He will require regular vet check-ups and possible future teeth cleanings. He enjoys both dry and wet food, so offering both will help him continue to thrive. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Ivy is medium-size black female with a sweet temperament. We estimate her age at 6 or 7 years. She was rescued with her last litter of kittens. They've all been adopted, and Ivy is spayed and ready for her forever home. During her time at her foster home, she has adapted well to the house cat life. Ivy is a very smart cat who pays a lot of attention to her people. She talks a lot and sings and follows her people around the house. Her favorite things are playing with her toys, sleeping cuddled with our male cat, and watching TV from her foster person's lap. She has become comfortable in her foster home and hangs out with our three cats. However, as a former stray, Ivy remains sensitive to her surroundings, and she can be quick to hide if she feels pressured. Ivy would do best in a quiet home with people who have some cat experience and another cat to be her friend and guide. Because Ivy does much better in quiet, peaceful settings, approved applicants can meet Ivy, at her foster's home.READY TO ADOPT? Story
*Papaya, Aquilla, and Marcella's adoption fee is waived for an approved adopter.*Papaya, Aquilla and Marcella are siblings who were adopted as kittens from Angel's Wish in 2015. Sadly, their owner's health necessitated a move into a facility that does not allow cats, so this beloved trio has made their way back to Angel's Wish almost a year ago. These three are closely bonded with each other, and are often found sleeping together in a kitty pile, or at least within a couple feet of each other. Papaya, Aquilla and Marcella are a ready-made family who just need a soft landing together. You will be rewarded with cute chirps and a lap full of happy kitties...yes, indeed all three cats can be found on their foster parent's lap at times. They love to be brushed, too. These kitties were beloved by their previous owner, and just need someone to open their heart to a ready-made loving feline family! Marcella, Aquilla and Papaya are available to be met by appointment in their foster home in Verona. READY TO ADOPT? It could be because they are a bonded pair (or trio!), are a little bit shy, or have FIV. Maybe they had a medical concern that took us a while to work through. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what is taking so long! These kitties all deserve love. Don't let them be forgotten!

Meet Lolly, the superhero kitten with a heart full of courage and a spirit of playfulness. Her story began in a bustling city where she used her curiosity and bravery to explore every corner. One day, she stumbled upon a mischievous gang of alley cats causing chaos. With a swift pounce and a daring hiss, Lolly managed to disperse the gang, restoring peace. Her heroic act was noticed by a kind passerby who brought her to the shelter, ensuring her safety. Now, Lolly spends her days playfully engaging with other cats and small dogs, charming everyone with her terrific personality. Adopt Lolly and bring home not just a pet, but a brave little hero who will fill your life with adventure and joy. Please note that the Angel's Wish policy requires that young kittens will either need a sibling to go home with or the home will need another younger feline already in the home. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Kayla is a gorgeous dilute calico with an abundance of white fur that adds to her striking beauty. This sweet and friendly girl is ready to charm her way into your heart once you bring her home. When in her foster home, she's a sweetheart who radiates friendliness and warmth, making her an instant favorite among those lucky enough to meet her. As a calico, she carries herself with regal confidence, readily guiding you on how to adore her properly and when you need to give her some space. Kayla also enjoys interactive playtime with her human to help her get out her young adult energy. We believe Kayla would do best in a home without young children or other animals, as she wants to be the queen of her domain. She's been struggling putting her best paw forward at our adoption events lately, so please don't take her frustration personally when you meet her. If you're in search of a lovely companion with a playful spirit and a touch of elegance, Kayla might be the perfect match for you. Come meet this short-haired beauty and discover the joy of welcoming Kayla into your home. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT? Hi! I'm Alessandra, but sometimes my friends call me Pickle. My foster family thinks I'm one part cat, from all the meowing I do, (I just think my opinions about food and scritches need to be heard) and one part monkey, from the way I climb and swing from the cat tree. I hope you have one! My sister Daniela is with me and she's cool. We play tag and chase string toys; we think it's so fun. Crinkled paper and balls are also great. You should come visit us, but please be patient, because new people make us nervous. Churu treats help A LOT and once we know you, we love you. Story
Rosie is an adorable tiny black cat. She's incredibly social and friendly to the point that you might question her survival instincts. She'll nuzzle up to any stranger, with or without treats (but especially with treats). She's very cuddly, often wanting to sit on your lap while you're watching TV or under your arm as you go to bed. You can pick her up and cradle her without any complaints. Vets have left comments about how much they love her. She has a few medical conditions such as skin allergies, bladder stones, and anxiety. She requires special diet and medications as a result, but she's tough enough to make it through all that with plenty of love left over to give her owners. Rosie has experience living with another cat, namely her adopted sister Daisy. The two are lightly bonded and get along well.

Story
Daisy is a 6 year old domestic short hair gray tabby. She's shy and nervous at first - it takes some time for her to feel comfortable with you, but it's worth the wait. Once she warms up to people, but she's a princess. Very polite and proper, she'll wait for you to guide her onto your lap for cuddles. She's chatty but soft spoken, communicating mainly in squeaks and chirps. You can expect to have a conversation with her at least once a day. She's well behaved, smart enough to know when she's done something wrong, and will pick up on your queues. She's an absolute sweetheart, but even more so once you learn how she likes to be loved. Daisy has experience living with another cat, namely her adopted sister Rosie. The two are lightly bonded and get along well.
