Poudunk came from a surrender situation and has previously lived successfully with other cats in the home and does well with older children. She is so sweet, loves getting pets, exploring and especially really loves treats (Bounce seafood). She loves just having company and being with someone who will give her lots of attention. She has the softest fur too! https://www.wihumane.org/adopt/animal?id=55456746 email: ashleysfosterpets@gmail.com

Story
Meet Rickie! What we know about her mostly comes from our experience with her as a mother cat; she was a patient and attentive mom, and didn't mind when her kitten jumped all over her and bit her tail. Her kittens have moved on, so now that Rickie can stop mothering 100% of the time, we are looking forward to her single gal personality to blossom and bloom! Rickie is a sweet gal with a bit of curiosity to her. She loves to explore everything around her, but at the end of the day, she prefers to be snuggled up right next to her person! Does Rickie sound like your kind of gal? If so, call the Humane Society at 608.752.5622 to set up your meet and greet. She can't wait to meet you!*Rickie's care is being sponsored by Bethany. Thank you, Bethany!*

Story
Fancy a Dark n’ Stormy? This grey gal is equal parts smooth and sweet with just the right amount of spice. Ever since her offspring got adopted, Stormy has been thriving as an empty nester. She says hello by giving lots of rubs and flopping over for belly scritches. Her playful side is blossoming and she loves to let out her inner kitten by chasing her favorite wand toy in circles. She’s an independent lady who’s happy to curl up next to you on the couch or give you some space while she’s off taking a snooze. Stormy would make a fantastic work-from-home buddy! While she’s not too fond of competing with other pets for attention, we know Stormy will provide all the love you could want. She can get a bit overstimulated in certain situations, so would probably do best in a home without young children or a lot of hustle and bustle. Take a shot on this intoxicating lady! Story
Jayden is a semi-feral young lady looking for a home with some adventure! She's been raised in a foster home since she was 2 months old, but Jayden hasn't forgotten her love of the outdoors. She would love a forever family that has a catio or yard that she can get some much needed stimulation and exercise. Jayden isn't a fan of being pet or held, BUT she does love hanging out near her humans and appreciates the warm house and delicious food they provide. Jayden can't wait to find her own forever family! She'll happily pay her rent by catching rodents, bugs, in your yard :) Approximate DOB: 2021 Foster Home Location: Sun Prairie If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Single mature female looking for Sugar Daddy or Sugar Mama!  This classy lady has gone through a lot in life and is ready to settle down with a new man or woman (or both) in her life. Sugar is a Socialite from Chicago, who was in a tragic vehicle accident and found herself in a rural home in Wisconsin to recover in style. While she has enjoyed her stay at this cozy place, she is less  than thrilled that the staff is not available to shower her with love and adoration 26 hours a day, 375 days a year.    Sugar is not a girl who likes to share the Spotlight. She demands a home without any other cats, however she did say she would be  fine with larger dogs, as she’s been living with One for a while now and, I quote, “They amuse me”. She tends to get irate around other  felines.    Her ladyship maintains a strict diet, as she is allergic to most normal foods ingested by mere feline peasants. Due to these allergies she  also takes a regiment of allergy shots every 2 weeks at home, which her current staff fits in between her rigorous sunbathing and lounging routines.    Per Sugar’s personal assistant, “She is very demanding of attention, but all of the love we give her she gives us back three-fold. A fair warning, she is very free with her kisses! She will always tell you when your attempts at  affection are falling short, but will give you many chances to correct your behavior.”    The staff all agree, they feel Sugar would do best with a new Sugar DaddyAnd/or Sugar Mama who will be home with her more often than not, or willing to take her as a travel companion wherever they go. Her ladyship is so sensitive to being alone than quite frankly her dramatic flair goes too far and she will cause damage to herself if left alone for too long.    Please send all inquiries to adoptions@commcat.org so Sugar may review  all future possible servants and companions.   Approximate DOB: 2014 Foster Home Location: Janesville  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Bonded pair   Frappe and Decaf are a brother/sister pair from a hoarding case who are slowly learning that humans aren’t sooo bad. (They’re actually very helpful for opening cans.) These two have been Community Cats for a couple months now and have made some good progress, although they probably won’t ever be lap cats. Frappe will allow you to sneak a few butt scratches in, so long as you pay his toll, which consists of snacks. Decaf still isn’t ready to be pet but will flirt and rub on things just out of your reach. Once they’re comfortable in a new place, both are very silly and love zooming and playing with their feline foster siblings. They’re very submissive with other cats and have gotten along well with each one they’ve met. Frappe and Decaf would be candidates for a cushy barn or shop set up where they can catch all the mice for you. In a home, they would need someone who is patient and will take their time to help them learn to trust people. If you like the challenge of winning over cats that play hard-to-get, Frappe and Decaf may be just your cup of tea!   Approximate DOB: August 2022 Foster Home Location: Madison  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Is your HOMEpage missing a reliable Browser? We've got you covered!    The Browser Bunch has quite the history. After coming in from a TNR project, underweight and in rough shape, they were given the chance to reboot and start fresh. Diagnostics have been run and determined they are malware free and ready to start searching for their forever homes.    Safari’s gorgeous coat is as soft as a bunny rabbit's in winter. Safari is hesitant around humans as she has had limited experience,  however,  she accepts pets and even enjoys being handled while wrapped in a snug towel or blanket. In just a short time, she is stretched out, enjoying chin scritches.    Safari requires a quiet home with patient humans. She would enjoy the company of another cat or calm small dog.   Approximate DOB: 2019 Foster Home Location: Milwaukee  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Meet Peanut Butter! So stinking cute and sweet you won't even need the jelly.    Peanut Butter was born with quite the mix of adorable deformities - some more noticeable than others. Of the more noticeable traits, he has a deformed ear and tail (which doesn't bother him at all). He was also born with the top portion of his right femur missing, luxating patellas in both knees, and some neurological deficits which give him the cutest little walk ever. He can still run and jump and play though. He may need to have a surgery in the future, but Community Cat will cover this at one of our vets in Madison.      He is also both fecal and urine incontinent and will need to be expressed 2-3 times a day here's a little preview of how it works: https://fb.watch/aE0lgOKPjj/!). And here’s a bit more info on taking care of incontinent kitties:  https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/caring-incontinent-cat.    As with most cats with urinary incontinence, he is prone to crystals, so does best on a completely wet food diet and/or prescription urinary food.     Despite all the birth defects he was born with he is a playful, happy, and healthy boy! He loves to wrestle with his foster brother Lucky. He will instantly begin to purr from just a glance and he is a stage 5 cuddler. He can have a bit of a sensitive tummy, so staying consistent with his diet is a must. And best part is no diapers or liter box! Just expressions 2-3 times a day.     Approximate DOB: March 2023 Foster Home Location: Janesville  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application.
