Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 5 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He was recently introduced to odor detection work and his trainer said he was a natural. He catches on to new commands quickly and would love someone to work with. Ramen would do best in an adult only household. He sometimes takes time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Ramen needs an experienced owner who comfortable addressing his guarding behaviors, willing to continue exercising his body and his mind, and able to commit to regular grooming. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. Bean is a 2-month-old baby boy (DOB 12-6-25) packed full of adorable cuteness overload and certified puppy joy. His mom was a Chihuahua, his dad… well, let’s just say Dad is a mystery man of intrigue. Judging by Bean’s short little legs and longish body, we suspect there may have been a low-riding dachshund involved in the family tree somewhere! Whatever his recipe is, the result is absolutely delicious. This sweet nugget is expected to grow up to be around 20 pounds – the perfect portable size for tagging along on coffee runs, weekend adventures, or supervising your Target trips from the cart like the VIP he is. Bean is your classic happy-go-lucky puppy who wakes up every day like, “BEST DAY EVER!” He comes fully equipped with all the standard puppy features: • professional zoomies • expert wiggle-butt • sloppy kisses • random bursts of chaos • lap snuggle mode • and a PhD in Toy Destruction 101 At his young age, Bean would do great with other dogs, kiddos, and even cats if introduced properly. He’s basically a blank little puppy canvas ready to be shaped into your bestest buddy ever. Fair warning: he does currently come with factory-installed razor-sharp puppy teeth and tiny velociraptor nails. These are temporary features and will eventually be replaced with polite grown-up manners (we promise).
