FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Frito! He is a one-year-old, 16 LB Chiweenie who is all ears and looking for his forever home! Frito is a very sweet and loving little guy who loves a good adventure! He is outgoing and bonds deeply to his people. Frito walks well on leash and would love a forever home that takes him on daily walks and outings, and he also loves other dogs! He would do great as an additional dog in a home, or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. This spunky guy hopes to find his forever family soon as he has a lot of love and joy to bring into a home! Frito is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Hippie is a loving, cuddly, mild mannered chi. She loves to play ball, run around the park and sunbathe. She was born in Utah and has moved up here, but needs a yard or some one who can spend way more time with her everyday. She mostly minds her own, but can be cooped up too long. We will miss our Hippie girl.

Story
Animal Profile: Tank is estimated to be around 8 years old and weighs about 15lbs. He was surrendered to RASKC when his owner passed away. He we very confused and stressed out in a shelter environment, so the shelter coordinator reached out to see if we could help. We could see that Tank was nervous and needed some time to decompress after going through such a dramatic life change. We look forward to getting to know him in foster care and matching him with a new family for life. Foster Update: Meet Tank! This sweet boy has gone through some stressful life changes, but he is making great strides and getting settled into foster care. Tank's foster mom shares, "Tank (we've been calling him Hank) is a fun little guy. He is nervous when meeting new people but adjusts quickly. We are taking him out daily to get him used to the sights and sounds of people and other animals. He does really well in the house, no barking, loves his crate and plays with our resident dog. He has been ignoring  our cat. We feel he could do well with a canine companion, or as a single dog." Because Hank is uncomfortable with hands reaching out to him, he will need to be in an adult-only home. We'll continue to post more info as Hank settles in! Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Animal History: Tank was surrendered to Regional Animal Services of King County in February, and arrived in our care on 02/25/25. He will be available for adoption after evaluation foster care. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-applicationMarch 31, 2025, 4:24 am

Story
Animal Profile: Vinny is a 3 month old, male short stack puppy, possibly Doxie/Cattle Dog x (best guess) but 100% cuteness!  He  will be joining us  from Texas on 05/19/2025.  He is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, crate trained, friendly with dogs, cats and kids, awaiting his freedom ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Vinny is hilarious and warms your heart when you see him! He loves to be included especially if it’s something the big dogs are doing. His legs may not be long but he doesn’t his best to keep up! When he comes in to get some pets he does a little side sit on his hip which promptly turns into a full body melt. Thanks to the time he spent with his foster in Texas, he goes right into his crate on his own! He doesn’t discriminate between crates, he loves to go in the big dogs crates too. Great with people and dogs. He’s young so potty training is still a work in progress but he has a solid start with no accidents in the crate so far, sleeps through the night and pretty quickly gets to business outside. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from  Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.May 23, 2025, 10:22 am
