Story
FOREVER OR FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Meet Blue 💙 Blue is a sweet 8-year-old Chiweenie who came to us after his owner passed away. He arrived with his beloved housemate, Jasmine, an 8-year-old Chihuahua who has become an important source of confidence and reassurance for him. Blue is deaf and relies on Jasmine to help him navigate the world, making their bond especially meaningful. Blue is a loving little guy who bonds deeply with his person. Once he knows you, he wants to be close and be part of your world. He also walks well on a leash, making him a nice little companion for leisurely strolls and exploring alongside his person. Because Blue can feel lonely when left on his own, he would do best in a home where someone is around much of the time and can provide him with the companionship and reassurance he craves. Although Blue is deaf, he does well with hand signals and is a wonderful example of how easily dogs can adapt when given patience, understanding, and love. Blue has been through a heartbreaking loss, but he still has so much love to give. A patient, devoted family—ideally one who can keep Jasmine by his side—could give this special boy the security, companionship, and love he deserves. Blue is up to date on vaccination, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee for the bonded pair is $700.

Story
First I want to say that we love Biscuit very much. She is an absolutely beautiful dog. After our Chihuahua passed from old age about two years ago, we waited a year and then traveled to Wenatchee WA to adopt Biscuit from Hands and Paws Rescue. She is 5 years old now. Our circumstance is that we lived in a four bedroom house when we adopted her, and now we live in a condo and have no yard. Biscuit has a lot of energy and she needs a yard. She needs someone very active who can wear her out daily. She loves fetch and will play fetch until she drops. We put her in training school but mom has had some health issues this year and is low energy. Dad has a very busy work schedule. We have a young kiddo whom we will need to explain this to somehow. Biscuit is good with kids but she does jump so the best kids would be ok with rough and tumble play. She needs additional training not to jump on people. She is only 12 pounds however. She does chew on things so she needs lots of chew toys.

Story
2 almost 3 years old, timid, but friendly loves to snuggle, very affectionate loves attention and very trainable. I don’t know how to post it here, but she does have a brother and it would be ideal if i could find a home for them together. I’m going to be traveling and I don’t have any way to care for them while I’m gone.

Story
Animal Information:  Raya is an approximately 7 month old, 7 pound Chihuahua who came to the Stanislaus shelter as part of an animal welfare case, where she and 18 other dogs were lovingly cared for by shelter staff while the District Attorney's office worked through the legal process. Once the dogs were finally released and available for rescue, we knew we had to help. Raya, along with Tasha, Littles, and Cooper, all came from the same home. Although she's a little shy at first, Raya has been incredibly sweet with the shelter staff and just needs a little time to feel safe and let her personality shine. We can't wait to welcome Raya to the Pacific Northwest and show her what the good life is all about! Foster Profile:  Raya has settled into her Seattle foster home and continues to gain confidence every day. While she's still a little timid in new situations, she has really opened up over the past few weeks and is showing everyone what a happy, joyful little pup she is. Raya is friendly, curious, and playful. She loves dragging around toys that are almost bigger than she is and enjoys playing with stuffies. One of her favorite activities is zooming around the yard, showing off her playful energy. When she's not playing, Raya has a sweet and affectionate side. She'll gently boop you with her nose to say hello and is perfectly happy to curl up next to you on the couch for some quiet cuddle time. She has been enjoying both playtime and snuggles with the resident dog in her foster home and would likely benefit from having a friendly, confident canine companion in her adoptive home to help show her the ropes. Raya is crate trained and house trained, and she sleeps quietly in her crate throughout the night. She's also calm during nail trims. While she can still be a little nervous about being picked up or held, she is making steady progress and becoming more comfortable every day. She is very food motivated and eats her meals with gusto!  Raya's most adorable features: her little ears! Both ears flop over to the left, giving her a unique and adorable pinwheel look. Raya is a sweet, gentle, happy little dog who is blossoming more each day. With a little patience, love, and encouragement, she's sure to become a loyal and loving companion for a very lucky family. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Information:  Littles is a 3-year-old, 8-pound Chihuahua who came to the Stanislaus shelter as part of an animal welfare case, where she and 18 other dogs were lovingly cared for by shelter staff while the District Attorney's office worked through the legal process. Once the dogs were finally released and available for rescue, we knew we had to help. Littles, along with Tasha, Freckles, and Cooper, all came from the same home. Although she's a little shy at first, Littles has been incredibly sweet with the shelter staff and just needs a little time to feel safe and let her personality shine. We can't wait to welcome Littles to the Pacific Northwest and show her what the good life is all about Foster Profile: Meet Littles! The ultimate cuddle bug who loves nothing more than curling up next to you on the couch. She is a BIG fan of belly rubs and will happily flop onto her back to let you know when she's ready for some! She does well in her crate and has no problem settling when you are away or overnight. If you're at home, so does whine to let you know she's not a fan of missing out. She has plenty of playful energy and loves to follow you around or jump on her couch, but she settles in the second you sit down.    She is potty trained when taken on a consistent schedule and does well on leash, but can be distracted by the world. She is quite shy when meeting new people and prefers the safety of her crate or her people when new people come over. Once she feels comfortable, she is the sweetest companion. While she is currently fostered without other dogs, we do feel she'd benefit from having a confident companion in the house.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Information: Pearl is an estimated 4.5 year-old Chihuahua who arrived with her 2 week old puppies. We will share more as we get to know them. Foster Profile: Pearl is a sweet and lovable, though she tends to be standoffish when initially meeting new people and will bark, she will come around if given some time. She loves being with her person and is happy to just curl up on her dog bed close by while you work. She is good with resident dogs, cat and ducks. She likes to play with toys and run zoomies around the house and yard. She has learned to use the dog door, but not a fan of the rain so we do make regular visits outside on rainy days. Pearl will need a patient family that is willing to give her space in the beginning then she is just a lovely happy girl. If you have patience and experience with shy dogs she is loyal and loving once she trusts you. Please note that she can be a bit vocal, likes to alert the houshold whenever something is going on, because of this she would not be an ideal fit for an apartment setting.    Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Animals of Rawley in CA to our rescue. She was transferred via Wiggle Butt Transport and will available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. September 8, 2026, 12:45 pm
