Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 10 month old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. We’re looking for a forever home for Lettie! Lettie is a 4-yo mix, about 50 lb. We think she’s a combo of German Shepherd and Husky. She’s smart, goofy, loyal and cuddly, and so fun to take on hikes. She loves people, loves to play, and learn tricks (agility??). She would do best in a home without cats, livestock or small children. Ideal new home would be with a dog nerd who has experience with/is interested in least intrusive, minimally aversive training for reactive dogs (barks at other animals on leash), and who wants to provide a quieter home with predictable routine and plenty of enrichment and exercise. She is spayed, vaccinated, crate-trained, housebroken, no bite history, and has a clean bill of health. Small rehoming fee will apply.
