Sweet, smart, and super friendly – Dk is the total package! He’s got the manners of a gentleman. He’s a great leash walker and already knows how to sit and shake on command. He seems to know to be calm and gentle around people. When it’s time, he has no problem letting his silly flag fly! He enjoys rough housing with toys, and has yet to find a toy he doesn’t like. He’ll play with any and all of them!

Note: The following information is from March 2023. She now weighs 46 pounds. Her adopter returned her due to allergies and provided no information about her other than she is now house trained. (tw 4/24/2024)Daria is an excitable girl who really wants your attention. She is jumpy and vocal. She is curious and intense, active and confident. She weighs 40 pounds and enjoys leading while walking on a leash. She knows the sit command but we don't know if she is house trained. She transferred from another shelter and forgot to bring her resume. We haven't seen her interact with children so you can always bring yours to meet her. She has a desire to please people and enjoys being close. She likes running, sticks, and chasing balls but has no interest in picking one up. Molly is a laid back, sweet shepherd mix looking for her forever home. She demonstrates most shepherd traits, and bonds most often to the female of the home. She adores children and is very affectionate with them, but can be nervous initially with some men and new situations. (She will hide/avoid until comfortable) She doesn’t mind other dogs as long as they do not try to be dominant around her, but would be perfectly happy in a only dog home as well. She is not super playful with other dogs (does occasionally play with some, usually 2-5 year old males) but is well socialized. Because of her size and herding tendencies on fence boundaries, we do not recommend she live with small dogs. She walks beautifully on leash, and is obedient. She does have some slight separation anxiety and will be vocal in a new home until she settles into routine, but once settled she is calm, quiet and crates without issue. She is non destructive in the house and prefers simply to be near her person/people.

We first got pooca back in 2020 during the summer from a rescue center. Me and my siblings were ecstatic to be having an addition to the family. He fit in perfectly with his bubbly personality. He’s very sweet, funny, nurturing, and full of energy. He got house and potty trained pretty quickly, he’s very smart and catches on to routines pretty quick as well. He’s now four years old, his birthday was in June! My heart really doesn’t want to give him away but my situation doesn’t allow me to have as much time and attention that he deserves. My siblings are off to college and I’m currently expecting my first baby. So my schedule will be pretty busy and getting changed all the way around. I will be sad to give my baby away, but knowing he’s going to a good home and caretaker will give me a peace of mind. He’s up to date with his shots and will be groomed til he’s adopted.
