Story
I was left in front of an abandoned store to fend for myself. My luck changed, however, when some kind humans got me to safety. I am a young and active guy. I would love a doggie friend or even a jogger to take me out. I do know a few commands, am in excellent health, and can't wait to find my forever family. I have not met cats yet.

Story
LOVES RESTAURANT PATIOS TO GET ATTENTION AND PUP CUPS  Est. DOB 4/8/18, weight 62 lbs. Beautiful Lucy, a gentle, loving girl who is great with children, enjoys car rides and walks in the neighborhood where she is on squirrel patrol! She especially enjoys going with her mom to dog-friendly café’s with outdoor seating where she gets to soak up the wait-staff’s attention and perhaps have a pup cup. She loves playing tug-of-war in the backyard with any dog toy, and she occasionally goes to the dog park and doggy day care. Lucy is looking for a new home now that her mom has downsized to an apartment and no longer has a backyard for Lucy to run around in. She was rescued from the street -- a car wash to be exact -- when she was just a youngster and has lived with a small dog ever since.  Lucy’s ideal home would be with a family who would include her in family outings such as trips to the kid’s baseball games or walks along the bayou walking trails. At the end of a busy day, she loves nothing more than relaxing and some quiet downtime with her people. She would enjoy living with another easygoing, calm, small/medium-sized dog friend. Or she could be a solo girl, but no cats, please.   HOPE ID D26-0225-0013 Lucy’s $200 adoption fee includes the spay, vaccines, microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, and monthly prevention for heartworms and fleas.  To apply online, go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Lucy will be at this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you. Hi I'm Savvy!! A super smart and loyal friend looking for an active human to hike, jog, and camp with. I love lounging equally and won't judge if we just do a lazy day Sunday as well. Heck, I'll even wear your favorite team's jersey! Just don't forget the chips and snacks because I enjoy those too! Other dogs are fine and just give me a minute to get to know them; after that, it's all fun!
