Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there, I’m Indu — and I’m hoping you’ll see the moonlight in me.  I’m a 5-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix, about 65 pounds of quiet love and gentle soul. My name means “moon” in Hindi, and just like the moon, I’ve been learning to shine a little more each day. When I first came to my foster home, I was so shy that I’d stay in the other room or outside, watching the world from a safe distance. But with time, patience, and kindness, I’ve started to believe that people can be safe and love can be real. Now, I sleep on the bed, wag my tail when my humans come home, and even ask for pets (they feel amazing, by the way). I’m still learning to be brave — loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, so I’d do best in a calm home with kids 12 and up. But I promise, I’m trying every day to grow into the confident dog I know I can be. I would probably do best as an only pet, as other pets kind of stress me out. I do live with other dogs in my foster home, but can sometimes be overbearing to them. So if you have another dog I would need you to be understanding that I take some time to warm up.    I’m house-trained (never had an accident!), I know my name, and I come when called. I’m not a barker, and I can be trusted to roam the house while you’re away. Walks are one of my favorite things — I’m still working on not pulling, but it’s just because I get so excited to explore the world with you. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, I’ll give you my whole heart. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying so hard — and I hope you’ll see the beauty in that. Story
Meet Tiffany Name: Tiffany DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (expected to grow to 50 pounds) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Tiffany is a bright, affectionate young girl with a beautiful mix of brains, heart, and playful curiosity. She has that wonderful puppy sparkle — eager to explore the world, happy to be near her people, and always ready for the next adventure or cuddle session. She’s confident without being overwhelming, sweet without being shy, and already showing signs of becoming an incredibly loyal companion. Personality Tiffany is loving, attentive, and people-oriented. She enjoys engaging with her surroundings, learning new things, and being part of daily life. She has a gentle affectionate side that shines during quiet moments and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and enrichment time. She bonds deeply and thrives when she feels included and guided. Her mix blends intelligence, loyalty, and athleticism with curiosity and charm. Highly intelligent and eager to learn Active and thrives with mental and physical stimulation Forms strong bonds with their people Does best with structure, routine, and positive training Likely to be medium-large when fully grown This is a wonderful mix for someone who enjoys an engaged, interactive dog and is excited to build a true partnership. Owner Responsibilities Tiffany will need: Daily physical activity and mental enrichment Continued training using patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and clear boundaries Time, companionship, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will blossom most with an adopter committed to guiding her through adolescence. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Please think carefully about: Your schedule and ability to provide time, structure, and training Your living situation (landlord approval, space, fencing if needed) Long-term plans — moves, lifestyle changes, travel Financial responsibility including food, training, grooming, and vet care The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning Adopting is not just about today — it’s about committing to every chapter of her life. Vet Care Although Tiffany is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, it’s important to schedule a visit with your own vet as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and ensure a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Important!) First 3 days: Tiffany may feel overwhelmed as everything is new — patience and reassurance are key. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, your home, and what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, confidence grows, and her true personality fully shines. This adjustment period is normal and requires understanding, consistency, and love. Why Tiffany Will Be an Amazing Addition Tiffany isn’t just a dog — she’s a companion in the making. She’s the kind of pup who will look to you for guidance, celebrate your presence, and grow into a loyal, loving soul by your side. With the right home, she’ll become a devoted family member, an adventure buddy, and a steady source of joy for years to come. If you’re ready for a lifelong commitment and excited to help a smart, loving young dog grow into her best self, Tiffany is ready to meet you   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Charmin Carmen – Your Loyal Shadow and Gentle Sweetheart   Charmin Carmen is a 2-ish-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. At 62 pounds, she’s still gaining weight, but her spirit is already strong and full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, Charmin Carmen is the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be part of every moment—she’s got a little FOMO and loves to be wherever you are, soaking up attention and joining in on the fun. Charmin Carmen is wonderfully gentle and patient with kids, great with other dogs, and even gets along beautifully with cats and chickens. She truly is a gem. She is also: •Crate trained •House trained •Dog-door trained •Food motivated and eager to learn   She does have a Level 5 heart murmur, which she manages with daily medication costing about $200 per month. Carmen handles her meds like a champ, and they help her live a happy, comfortable life. Also, due to her heart murmur, she isn’t able to be safely spayed so her adopter will need to agree to keep her away from un-neutered males unsupervised. It wouldn’t be good for her to get pregnant.   Carmen is “very sweet with everyone,” but what makes her truly special is how deeply she bonds with her people. If you’re looking for a warm, devoted companion who will follow you with unwavering love, Carmen is your girl. Carmen is ready for her forever home—a place where she can be safe, cherished, and included in all the moments she loves.   If you think you might be the perfect match for Carmen, fill out an application to meet her today!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2025, 3:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Mighty Mike, but my humans call me Mikey! I’m a very sweet and affectionate 5-year-old shepherd mix. Here are some of the best things about me: - I’m the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. If there’s a lap to be sat on I want to sit in it! I just love snuggling up to my humans. - I love going on walks and going for drives (I’m great in the car!). I also love pup cups, treats, taking naps, and chewing on bones! - I’m fully crate and potty trained, plus I know basic commands, but I would love to work on some training to learn even more. I’m a bit of a jumping jelly bean but we’re working on that! - I’m eager to please and pick up on training really quickly -  I do great with other dogs as long as they’re not too rambunctious. I like to play some, but mostly just want to do my own thing. I'd love to go to a loving family who will include me in their activities. I love all humans that I meet and do really well around kids, but sometimes I can get overly excited, so a home with kids over 8 years old would be best for me. And no kitties for me, please! Want to be my best buddy? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is My Tye – I guess my mom had a cocktail too many when she picked my name. But everyone just calls me Tye so that’s ok. I’m a 2.5 year old German Shepherd and weigh 75 lbs. I haven’t really been taught anything before I came to my foster home, which is a shame because I’m a typical GSD: intelligent & curious, athletic & high-energy, and thriving when you give me something to do. I’ve learned so much in the few days I’ve been here and am eager to keep going.  I’m house trained and crate trained and sleep all through the night; except, of course, when there are burglars, but luckily, we didn’t have any yet. I fetch balls even when you try to hide them and love to play with my toys. My favorite game is playing tug-of-war. And I have already learned to run through an agility tunnel! I’m still learning to walk on a leash. I love going on car rides and am learning to sit and wait when the door is opened. Once I’m worn out, I love to snuggle and hang out close to you.  I’m good with other large dogs but still a bit of an oaf and need to learn proper behavior around other dogs. I didn’t have interaction with small dogs yet. Same thing with kids: I’m good with the teenager in my home but haven’t met any little kids.  I’m looking for an active family with GSD or high-energy, large dog experience, with a strong commitment to training and socialization so I can become the awesome German Shepherd that is hiding in me. If you think I’m the right companion for you, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 11, 2026, 12:59 pm
