Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Indu – Your Loyal, Gentle Companion   Indu is a beautiful 5.5-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared . While she may be a little shy at first, give her some time and patience, and you’ll discover an incredibly devoted companion who will quickly become your shadow.   Once Indu feels safe, her sweet personality shines ✨. She loves following her foster mom around the house, curling up on the couch for cozy snuggles ️, and even sharing the bed for a good night’s sleep . She’s the perfect mix of independent and affectionate.   Indu gets along well with cats and kids , and she would truly thrive in a home with another dog companion . She can be a bit timid when meeting new dogs, so slow and gentle introductions are key—but with the right approach, she builds great relationships!   She’s already house-trained and crate-trained (though she much prefers being out with her people ). Indu is currently working hard in training to build her confidence and has made amazing progress . Continued training will help her keep blossoming into the confident dog she’s meant to be.   If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving companion who will form a deep bond with you, Indu might just be your perfect match ❤️   If you are interested in meeting Indu, please complete an adoption application here:  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 23, 2026, 10:14 pm

Story
Meet Tigresa Female DOB: January 18, 2026 Weight: 10 lbs (current) medium size Breed: Carolina Dog / Dutch Shepherd Mix Spayed (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Tigresa is a sweet, active puppy with a loving personality and a bright, curious spirit. She enjoys exploring the world around her, playing, and staying close to her people. She has that adorable puppy combination of playful energy and affectionate sweetness that makes every day fun. She is still very young and learning about routines, boundaries, and everyday life. Tigresa enjoys interaction, engagement, and companionship and would thrive in a home excited to help her grow into a confident adult dog. As a Carolina Dog / Dutch Shepherd mix, Tigresa may show traits such as intelligence, alertness, athleticism, and strong loyalty to her people. Dutch Shepherd-type dogs are often eager to learn and highly engaged with their families, while Carolina Dog traits can bring awareness, adaptability, and independence. Tigresa will likely grow into an active and intelligent dog who thrives with: Daily exercise and engagement Mental stimulation and training Structure and consistency Inclusion as part of the family She would do best in a home prepared for the time, patience, and commitment that come with raising a growing puppy. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even puppies require significant training, supervision, and socialization as they grow. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Tigresa will need: Positive reinforcement training Frequent potty breaks and supervision Patience and consistency during puppy stages Socialization with people, sounds, and environments Guidance through teething and chewing phases Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, structure, and love, puppies like Tigresa grow into incredible lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Tigresa will need: Daily interaction, exercise, and engagement Continued puppy training and socialization Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment As a growing puppy, she will also need continued monitoring of her growth, nutrition, and development. Tigresa is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Chicken Nugget is looking for his forever home. Preferably without kids but he absolutely adores other dogs! He is just a super cuddly snuggle bug and walks nicely on a leash when given appropriate support. He's also still working on having nice house manners but he gets better every day! His favorite thing in the world... A bone or frozen Kong!
