You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there, I’m Indu — and I’m hoping you’ll see the moonlight in me.  I’m a 5-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix, about 65 pounds of quiet love and gentle soul. My name means “moon” in Hindi, and just like the moon, I’ve been learning to shine a little more each day. When I first came to my foster home, I was so shy that I’d stay in the other room or outside, watching the world from a safe distance. But with time, patience, and kindness, I’ve started to believe that people can be safe and love can be real. Now, I sleep on the bed, wag my tail when my humans come home, and even ask for pets (they feel amazing, by the way). I’m still learning to be brave — loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, so I’d do best in a calm home with kids 12 and up. But I promise, I’m trying every day to grow into the confident dog I know I can be. I would probably do best as an only pet, as other pets kind of stress me out. I do live with other dogs in my foster home, but can sometimes be overbearing to them. So if you have another dog I would need you to be understanding that I take some time to warm up.    I’m house-trained (never had an accident!), I know my name, and I come when called. I’m not a barker, and I can be trusted to roam the house while you’re away. Walks are one of my favorite things — I’m still working on not pulling, but it’s just because I get so excited to explore the world with you. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, I’ll give you my whole heart. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying so hard — and I hope you’ll see the beauty in that. She would love to be your one and only pet in a child free home. Since she is so high energy, she’ll need a home experienced with working dogs. She would love a big yard or land to run around in. She is crate trained when it comes to bedtime, as she has always slept in her crate. She is about a year and two months old.

Hello, this beautiful girl is Nova Nova is just over 2 years old, born on July 2, 2023, and she is truly one of a kind. Nova is full of life and joy. She has a high-energy, adventurous spirit and would absolutely thrive in a home with someone who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. Walks, playtime, and exploring the world are some of her favorite things. She loves water whether it's playfully attacking the hose, splashing around in a kiddie pool, or just enjoying a fun summer day, water brings out her happiest, goofiest side. She has the silliest personality and is always doing something to make you laugh. Nova loves to run and play, but she also has a wonderful off-switch and will happily curl up with you for a long nap or quiet rest time. She is incredibly affectionate and bonds deeply with her person. Nova does well with kids though because she is a bigger girl and full of enthusiasm, she may accidentally knock little ones over.
