Introducing Kai, a 7 year old female Dutch shepherd. She has lived a wonderful life and has been well cared for and socialized but her owner has come into hard times and has to make the incredibly hard decision to find her a new home. He loves her so much and knows she deserves the world that he can’t provide. Please no rude comments, he is heartbroken. Kai is an incredibly intelligent dog. She absolutely adores people. She is 7 years old but she is still ready for adventures. Kai will need a family that will provide daily exercise and then a couch to sleep on! Kai is good with other dogs, especially male dogs. She has also been around cats and was great with them. Kai has been professionally trained and is housetrained. Kai is located in Huntsville AL. JAKE WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT DOG TO TRAIN FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE OR SOME TYPE OF POLICE BOMB/DRUG SNIFFING DOG. JAKE IS ALSO VERY ATHLETIC AND LOVES AGILITY TRAINING TOO. Meet Jake! Jake is about 1 year old and 36 lbs. We think Jake looks like a Shepherd/Mix (Just a Guess). Jake is a very happy boy who just wants to please. He is food motivated so his foster mom is working with him on commands. Jake loves other dogs but can be a bit pushy when he plays. Jake has met young children and they seem to make him nervous so we feel he would do best with children 11 years and up if children are in his forever home. Jake is a very smart boy and would love an adopter who will continue training with him. Jake is house and crate trained. Jake is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $375.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Storm was our "baby" up until we had kids. She is a sweet and protective girl. Unfortunately she does not do well with kids, and we have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. She has bit our 3 year old before. She goes potty on demand, "go potty", "go poopy". (She really does go poop, too). She gets VERY excited to see the people she loves most, and that's not just my husband and I. It extends to family and friends, so she doesn't only just focus on us. She gives her paw on demand, lays down "down", and "up" to jumping on surfaces... or you. And usually comes back when you let her out to potty with "here" or "storm here". She tends to be a little skittish, always has been from when we first got her at 12 weeks old. She hates bath time, but we found she does best if you're able to do it outside. She does resource guard, a bit.
