Story
PETIE is a sweet friendly little gem of a dog. He's a 5-6 year old 23 pound boy. He is said to be a Feist, an old southern breed. Petie is a charmer. He loves loves loves his toys, loves people and is great with other dogs. He's a medium energy silly boy. He's a people magnet at adoption events, everyone stops to say hello. Petie is housebroken, crate trained and fine with cats. Basically, a perfect little sidekick. If you'd like to meet Petie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Petie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Do you some silly fun in your life? SPUD is here to help. He's a 3 month old puppy currently 8 pounds. Spud loves toys, playtime and following his foster mom everywhere. He has the cutest little puppy trot and deliciously unruly ears. Spud and his brother Tater came to us from a backyard breeder who was breeding Feists, a small southern dog breed. We aren't sure what the actual breed is on these pups, we think they look like Jack Russel Terrier mixes. Spud is full of puppy shenanigans and needs a home with another playful dog. We estimate he will grow to be a 20-25 pound adult dog. If you've been following us over the last month, you may recall ELO, WIGGLES and SHORTY. They came from the same owner/property. None of the dogs on the property were larger than 25 pounds. If you would like to meet Spud, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Spud at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Spud will go to his furever homes on a trial basis. His adoption will be finalized when all of the vetting covered by their adoption fee is completed. Spud needs to go to a home in the greater Cincinnati in order to complete the vetting covered by his adoption fee. Story
TATER is a silly, fun, adventurous puppy looking for a home! He's around 12 weeks old and currently 8 pounds. Tater and his brother Spud came to us from someone who was breeding Feists, so officially he's a feist but we suspect he's part Jack Russell Terrier and heaven knows what else. We expect Tater to be 25ish pounds when fully grown. Tater loves to play outdoors and loves to chase leaves. He sleeps all night in his doggie bed with all his friends, and by friends we mean all his toys. Tater is fostered with other dogs and kids. He's crate trained and doing well on housebreaking. Tater will thrive in a home where he has a playful dog to help train him. All puppies require training, Tater needs a home with an adopter willing to train him to become a well-mannered family member. If you'd like to meet Tater, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Tater at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org 🌋🐾 Meet Pacaya — Adventure Enthusiast, Water Lover & Certified Good Girl 🐾🌋 Hi! I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. But don’t let my athletic side fool you — once the adventure is done, I’m all about the wind-down life. Belly rubs, ear scratches, lounging with my people and giving the best hugs are absolute perfection. I’m not wild or frantic — just a well-balanced girl who knows when to go full throttle and when to relax like a pro. 🐾 Pacaya at a Glance: ✔️ ~2 years old, ~40 lbs of happy athletic energy ✔️ Friendly, confident, and full of personality ✔️ Loves hiking, swimming, and climbing ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ House trained and well-mannered ✔️ Smart, attentive, and eager to engage with her people A quick note from management: while I adore dogs and humans, cats and chickens are not on my guest list. (Nothing personal — just best to admire them from afar.) I bring joy into every space I enter, communicate with my bright eyes and expressive personality, and truly enjoy being part of a family. I pay attention, listen well, and love being involved in whatever my humans are doing — especially if it ends with a nap under the fan. If you’re searching for an active, loving, adventurous companion who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, I might just be your perfect match. 🌟 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Pacaya lead you into your next great adventure! 🐾💛

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This little cutie is named Rosie.  She is an 18 month old chihuahua mix who is spayed and UTD on her vaccines.Rosie has a sweet disposition and likes being with her human.  She will follow you from room to room and is happiest sitting on your lap.  She is very alert to new noises, people and activity and will let you know about it (she is a little watch dog!)  Rosie is crate trained and sleeps throught the night in her kennel.Rosie has led a quiet/sheltered life, so many things are new to her.  She has learned to walk on a leash at the park while in foster care.  She is learning to ride in a car without shaking. Fast moving children still scare her.  Her foster Mom reports she 'moves like a streak of lightning', so she may not be a good choice for an elderly person.Full disclosure: House training is still a work in progress and she still likes to nibble on things like a puppy.Rosie is looking for a dog savvy family who will patiently work with her.  She has great potential to be a fantastic dog.  Are you up to the challange?  Rosie will love you with her whole heart if you are!!Adoption fee: $250 (to help defray vet expenses)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2026, 2:43 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ramona!   Ramona came from a bad hoarding situation. This sweet girl had never been outside until she came into foster care.  She is now potty trained and loves going outside and playing with her foster siblings!! When Ramona first came into rescue she was terrified of being outside and would only use potty pads indoors, so this is a huge step forward for Ramona! She has also discovered toys and LOVES them.  She constantly follows her foster Mom and will sit next to her on the couch.  What does a perfect home look like for Ramona?Ramona needs a securely fenced yard, as she is a flight risk if frightened.  She needs a patient person who will move slowly with her and allow her to gain trust in them. She definitely needs another dog in the house for companionship and to help her feel safe.  Are you the type of person who can give Ramona the attention she needs to continue coming out of her shell?  If so, you will find she is a treasure.
