Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help — grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 -Around 2.5 months old -Currently under 15lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Meet Happy!!! Happy came into our care when she ended up at an overcrowded Detroit shelter when her owner passed away. Sadly her entire world had flipped upside down. We swooped this little 5 lbs. lady to safety and the rest is history. We are looking for a patient and loving home for Happy to live out her golden years. We estimate Happy to be between 13-14 years old. She is just the tiniest little girl weighing only 5 lbs. Happy is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Unfortunately Happy is not a fan of other dogs, so we are looking for home without dogs, cats or children. She is looking for a quiet home where she can nap most of the day and be by her people. She isn't the biggest cuddler, but does want her people near by. Happy is a picky eater, so her wonderful foster parents have been been giving her cooked hamburger and boiled chicken. Happy is pee pad trailed but may require diapers soon as sometimes she can't hold it.
