Meet Doris! This adorable 7lb Chorkie is pure love in a tiny package! She's a sweet girl who lives for her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side through every moment of the day. While she gets on well with dogs in her foster home, but we do think she would be best as an only dog or live with a dog bigger than her. She gets along wonderfully with children, lives with cats but needs dog savvy cats, she will sometimes chase. When you're relaxing, she'll happily curl up in your lap for endless snuggles. But the best part of your day? Coming home to her signature "tappy dance"—her excited little paws expressing pure joy that you're finally back where you belong: with her! She would do best in a home that is calm, she is sensitive to noise and will bark when she hears loud noises. She does tend to bark at the male in the home, so maybe a single female with or without kids would suit her best. Meet Happy!!! Happy came into our care when she ended up at an overcrowded Detroit shelter when her owner passed away. Sadly her entire world had flipped upside down. We swooped this little 5 lbs. lady to safety and the rest is history. We are looking for a patient and loving home for Happy to live out her golden years. We estimate Happy to be between 13-14 years old. She is just the tiniest little girl weighing only 5 lbs. Happy is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Unfortunately Happy is not a fan of other dogs, so we are looking for home without dogs, cats or children. She is looking for a quiet home where she can nap most of the day and be by her people. She isn't the biggest cuddler, but does want her people near by. Happy is a picky eater, so her wonderful foster parents have been been giving her cooked hamburger and boiled chicken. Happy is pee pad trailed but may require diapers soon as sometimes she can't hold it.
